About that mystery car with the Van Halen tape in it, I think I know what it is. Given the time period that Van Halen was popular, the fact that it's a tape and not a CD, and the shape of the window glass, my mind went to an 80's f-body car like a Camaro or Firebird. Then when they showed that bifurcating intake, I was even more certain. The intake is distinct because it's flat and curves down at the ends to connect with narrow intake vents that were in the nose of Camaros from ~1982-1986. The window glass is curved and pretty distinct in shape. Those cars didn't have a frame over top of the glass, they just pressed up against weather stripping when the door shut. Google 1985 Camaro passenger side window glass and you'll see it has the same curve cutout on the bottom as the one pulled out of the water. This was to go around the window motor if I remember correctly. I own an 85 Camaro and it has the same intake and the same glass. I'm sure an expert on 3rd gen GM f-body cars could probably be even more specific, but this narrows it down a lot.

Is that the first time an animal companion was thought to have gone into the water with their owner? The thought of his dog dying with him is a mixed feeling: it’s own but also they’d be going together. Anyway, I loved the woo woo of a dog showing up nearby!! And… hey, Jared, I/we heard what you said about your own overwhelm and thoughts of “leaving.” (aprox time 11:45 ). Makes me wonder when this episode was actually filmed…. perhaps during your own recent rough patch… just glad and grateful you’re still at it ! A few clues: Jared's (younger) brother, Byron participated on that trip, area looks a lot like the photo posted to the "Community" section back in January, and I recognize Houston Shoup (wearing a brown shirt) is filming on shore a few times while Jared is diving (23:02). Houston, his dad Wesley and brother Austin have been involved in a few search & recoveries. Most notable would be the James Amible, in PA in March of 2022. Houston was proud to finally be included in the team photo shared from Laughlin, NV when they officially began the 2023 Winter Road-trip.
Judi, where else do you get your info? You mention “Community” in this post. Is this on Facebook? I want to know so much backstory about Jared and AWP, especially the recent heartbreaking mess. In another post, another video, you were responded to another poster who “hoped Jared and Doug would work together again, “and you spoke knowingly about “Doug’s scheming” and basically betrayal. I’m not challenging you at all! I just want to know more and you seem to know so much!! You mentioned “clues” when I replied to one of your comments. Are you just a huge fan and have been able to surmise all of this or are their sources I’m just not aware of? Perhaps we could email with each other?
Unfortunately, many service animals "go" with their people, it can be both very sad and a blessing at the same time as service animals get so unbelievably attached to their person that they are beyond consoleable. Many die shortly after their person.
Great search Jard. You can't find them all the first time but you do keep trying to give the families hope. I am glad you always pay attention to signs, signs from a lost soul can always be reaching out to you. Much love to you and your family.

Keep in mind several hurricanes have hit the Beaumont area since 2006, Humbert cat1, Ike cat2, Harvey cat4....but Harvey in 2017 dumped 26" rain in 24 hrs, in Neiderland a suburb of Beaumont they got over 60 inches of rain when the hurricane stalled...and all the tropical storms that dump lost of rain...that is a LOT of water flow.

I think that German Shepherd was a sign….my oldest shepherd passed at 15…timeline isn’t far off though…just my thoughts….keep up the amazing work! You all are guardian angels of the earth ❤
I think on that window and parts you either found a Camaro or Mustang. The metal piece of the back is for an automatic set up to roll the window up and down and the rounded cut out is to avoid contact with the speaker in the door.
Thank you for explaining your equipment to us and how to understand what we're seeing. It takes practice because when you do see things and can tell if it's boulders or trees, I can't see that.
So Jared.. I just did some random research while watching.. An the longest living German Shepard lived to be 29yrs old!! So even tho that dog was most likely not his.. Anything is possible as you know! Either way def a sign and can't wait to see where this case and this foul play one goes!! Always admired what you do and always looking forward to the next one ❤
A sign for sure, but no way is it the dog. Shepherds live a good life if they make 12-13 years with all their hip problems. Police dogs are retired at 8. Sadly the dog is long passed like the owner...just hope he didn't take it into the water with him because that would be selfish and cruel. Hopefully one day Jared will find the vehicle and we will know 😢
Jared I love your channel. I love what your purpose is. Many families depend on you !!! might not need you right now. You never know keep doing what you're doing.
Them Texas towns have some challenging pronunciations - but I got where you were after a bit. What you and your team do is quite amazing! Bless you all🙏💖
With the window my guess would be a Chrysler town n country minivan, if not a foreign make, but I also had a station wagon where a side window was electric they call it a stow-n-go window. Unless it was a third side window which is possible to. I hope you find him for the family's closure. 🥰
*WHAT IF...* The German shepherd dog is a grown puppy of his dog?! You said earlier that his dog was a female, correct?! She likely had at least ONE litter of puppies since they went missing.
That's what I thought of too, maybe she had a litter after her owner went missing and stayed in the area waiting for his family to come looking for him or her ?
While it is unlikely for the dog you saw to be the dog in question it is actually possible. Usually German Shepherds live between 9 and 13 years, however there are German Shepherds who grew to be 18 years old. One I am aware of was said to be 22 at the time of her passing. And apparently at around the year 1900 there may even have been a German Shepherd who grew as old as 29 years old, which is close to the record of the oldest living dog (31, in case you are curious.). The point it: theoretically it could be possible for the dog you saw to be the dog in question. It's unlikely, but it is possible.
@@DawnMeow True, which is why I wrote it is unlikely and only theoretically possible. If the dog was still alive it would be very old either way and the dog we saw in the video seemed to be pretty agile. In fact what I would check is the local shelters. If he let his dog go before he went into the water, assuming that is what he did, it might have been picked up by animal control. The shelter in question may keep files, including the information when and where the dog was found. This could possibly narrow down the search area a bit further. Of course there are a lot of "ifs" in this plan, but it may be an idea worth checking out.
At 8:00 on ur video when you are speaking there's an object that flew behind you, moved kinda fast to be a plane and also I didn't see it after it flew past flags that where in background..
That window you brought up is a front passenger door. You can see the window is small and gets bigger. The small area is facing the windshield. The notch at the bottom of the glass. It should be the area for the electric motor. So, when the window goes down. The electric motor will not hit the glass and break.

I love what you do, Jared!
Jared you and your crew are doing an awesome job on cold case searches. I believe in signs. If the vehicle isn't found, I hope the woods will be searched.
German shepherd's can live up to 13 years and I love watching your videos because you bring answers to so many family's and other dive groups should do stuff like what your doing because it's amazing and your team is amazing
Your videos are bringing so much joy to my life. Thank you for all that you do Jared.
Prayers to the family pray he's found. Thanks for all you do.
😢 Its sad there was no answers today, but Im sure you have a game plan for the next time your in the area. I just knew the german Shepard was like a omen. Gods speed and stay safe
I think finding out the exact location of where the U-Haul was found and work out from there may help find him as well.
I've had a Shepherd that lived over 20yrs. Wish they would of followed that dog they seen. Ya never know.
👍👍👍
Thanks!
Hi Jared with team always
Enjoy Your hard work video and
Attitude stay safe out there
Regards to your family
Viewing from Singapore
I bought the window breakers for my whole family and gave them as a Christmas gift and everyone loved them! You never know when it will come in handy!!
Absolutely heartbreaking that he and his companion dog are still missing!!
Praying he's found and can rest peacefully!! 🙏
I Love watching your shows and seeing how much you care about the lost. Keep Doing What you do.
Great work Guys! Thank You sooo very much!!!!♥️
So glad to see you out there doing your best to find this man defiantly a second trip worthy he is a vet and deserve our efforts to get him to his family glad your showing bro what it is you do
Does your team remove the vehicles you find even though they are not the vehicle you are looking for?

Nice to see yall in my home town. Beaumont (Bo-mont), TX has the Neches ( Na-ches) river and a few more but this is our main river to the Gulf. So glad yall are here to help another family!
Yall do amazing work and thank yall so much for this!
TY FOR THE VIDEO JARED AND AWP!! GLAD I AM A SUPPORTER IN THIS AMAZING CAUSE OF FINDING MISSING PEOPLE SO LOVED ONES HAVE ANSWERS!! BRING EM ALL HOME!!! BTW I AM SPIRITUAL I BELIEVE IN SIGNS!!((( HUGS FROM TN )))
Cool to see your brother along.
Thanks for everything y’all do guys 😊
Hopefully one day Jared will find the vehicle and we will know 😢
All I can say is all of you do a awesome job and we the youtube community thank you
Jared I love your channel. I love what your purpose is. Many families depend on you !!! might not need you right now. You never know keep doing what you're doing.
Really??
@@camillafredriksson5473I can tell you like the channel as much as we do. It is great to be among such kind and positive followers and supporters.
❤
been watching you Jared for a long time! keep up the wonderful work you're making us proud!
Love to see Jared back as the lead 🙌 Videos without Jared aren’t worth watching.
Thank you for caring and helping!
❤❤❤ these efforts are sooooooo valuable and touching 🕊️🕊️🕊️
You guys are Angels from Heaven and also meant a lot to me today.
*WHAT IF...*
The German shepherd dog is a grown puppy of his dog?!
You said earlier that his dog was a female, correct?!
She likely had at least ONE litter of puppies since they went missing.
That's what I thought of too, maybe she had a litter after her owner went missing and stayed in the area waiting for his family to come looking for him or her ?
They said the dog had a collar on so that's unlikely.
Yeah but those dogs also were cared for… not a stray where people are known to dump animals.
Of course there are a lot of "ifs" in this plan, but it may be an idea worth checking out.
thanks for all you do
i love what you are doing. watching the episodes from the netherlands
praying to God that you find him and the german shepherd may be a sign something means in this case I'm sure, take care
At 8:00 on ur video when you are speaking there's an object that flew behind you, moved kinda fast to be a plane and also I didn't see it after it flew past flags that where in background..
What you guys do is amazing, i wish i could see you guys in action, with my support i Love you guys
My neighbour had a German Shepard that lived 20+ years. It is very possible xxx
Awesome Jared. Keep finding the missing.
That window you brought up is a front passenger door. You can see the window is small and gets bigger. The small area is facing the windshield. The notch at the bottom of the glass. It should be the area for the electric motor. So, when the window goes down. The electric motor will not hit the glass and break.
