Ida Fay Basco was a 23-year-old white female when she disappeared alongside Robert Kelley. Their disappearance is haunting, particularly for Ida Fay's daughter, who was just four years old at the time. Ida Fay's DNA is registered with the LSU Faces Lab, yet they both remain missing to this day. A significant lead, in this case, is a red Ford truck that Ida Fay and Robert were believed to be associated with, which has never been recovered.
Our search takes us to Hoo Shoo Too Road in Baton Rouge, a 5.5-mile stretch where Ida Fay and Robert were living at the time of their disappearance. We meticulously comb through this area, considering all possibilities. Was it an accident that led them to vanish, perhaps a heated moment that ended tragically? Or was it something more sinister? We explore potential accident locations at the corners of Hoo Shoo Too and Horseshoe, as well as the serene yet eerie Red Man Lake, which once served as a local gathering spot.

Sad to think that the waters are so full of discarded vehicles. I wish there was a way to remove them all.
Sometime when watching these episodes I get the feeling that US lakes/rivers are indeed a dumping ground of vehicles old and new.... Not sure what's up with that as a non US citiizen.

I've always liked Jared, i know he's going through a difficult time right now but I believe he's a good person and he will prevail
The amount of cars underwater is actually astonishing to me for some reason.
once you start watching this you look at water differently. i often drive by the water where AWP recovered missing persons, and I see how easy it would be to miss the curve. I also think of how stupid we were as teenagers when we tried to always drive 2x the posted limit on curves.

Every one of these license plates they find has the potential to give answers to more families.
Some may find this channel and find that it is their missing loved ones car, in a case Jared doesnt know about.
If there isnt already, maybe AWP can make their own searchable database or even just a list, of the license plates, locations, make and model of all the cars they find.

The other teams have gone out on their own after Jared trained them but, it's a shame that none of them supported him when his life was in turmoil. There are so many haters out there that can turn on a good person without knowing all of the facts.

I totally agree , I was really disappointed that his team dropped him so quickly before they knew anything. They treated him as though he was GUILTY until he was proved innocent.

I happened upon your channel a few days ago and I am fascinated by what you do. I watch and like all that I find! I even bought a T-shirt. I wish I could do more. You and your crew are wonderful people and I know your efforts have been much appreciated by the families you have helped. Be careful out there and keep the videos coming.
Go back and watch the Kylie Rodni case. Jared is behind the scenes but Nick and Doug are AMAZING locating her car in 2 weeks. Without them and their experience, even tho they thought it might be a boat, they never ruled it out until they dove on it. I doubt she would never have been found without AWP. The search hours by all the other agencies is incredible.

I have been watching Jared since he dove for junk, I love to listen to him, narrate, but when Doug came into the picture, I was just losing absolute all patience with that man’s yapping

Can i just say that since watching your amazing videos,you have given me a wealth of information that i didn't even think about,my daughter has a two hour journey to and from work everyday,she crosses over a very large bridge seperating wales/england (I'm in the UK) and it wasn't untill i saw your demonstration about "how to get out of a car that's underwater" that i suddenly realised,"if my daughter ever,god forbid had an accident in water,she wouldn't have a hope of getting out" so this week i bought her a window breaker and shared the video you made (with your mum) and now i can rest a bit more easier knowing that if she had an accident,she has the tools to escape as best she can!!thankyou for all you do.❤

Man, i remember watching before you shifted the focus to finding missing loved ones. I used to think that your channel name wasn't very accurate but now I couldn't agree with it more. The things you do to bring closure to some of these people after years is just fantastic!

@sipsnumberonefan, same I watched these guys from the beginning and look how much has changed and they have grown. Would love to see them come to Canada, The Saint-Lawrence River no doubt has many. Jared was going to come to Ontario I believe before the pandemic hit, then thigs changed sadly.

I appreciate the research Byron has done on Missing Persons cases. So many advances in the past decade. But, there are still areas in the country that don't even use NAMUs. Sad that info didn't always get shared throughout the state, let alone the entire country.

When I was a kid, up here in North Louisiana, my best friends mom and her guy friend went missing one night in the 1990s. About 10 years later, the guys truck was found buried under a huge 60+ ft tall gravel mound at a local gravel company. They were moving gravel with machinery and hit something hard so they dug and found the corner of a truck. So they stopped and called the cops.
Their remains were in the bed of the truck. That happened in the 90s and they were found maybe 15 years ago.
To this day, they still have no suspects even though it's obvious that it had to be someone connected to that gravel company. You can read about the case. Look up Jan Todd and Jodie Toney.
She was young when she disappeared. Younger than I am now. It was pretty devastating. My friend and his little brother never saw their mom ever again. 😔 Went out one night and never came home. She was like 31? 33?
The saddest part is that my friend's grandmother, his mom's mom, passed away before they found her daughter in that truck so she never knew what happened to her child. Nor did she know that her remains were located right at a mile from their house. 😔

I think this happens a lot to the guy that talked about his friends, parents or friends being under the gravel pit. Stop and get gas get something to eat and somebody hold them up at gunpoint or a friend decide they want money because they’re on drugs I think that happens a lot, and they never find them again.

Tennessee, Arkansas, and Utah
That plate has colors like a mid-90s Tennessee plate.
I live in Arkansas and yes we do have Sevier county, that looks just like our plates exact same coloring

Your partial is from Tennessee…Sevier County. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are in that county.
I just recently started watching your videos. When I first started I couldn't make out images on the sonar at all. Now I find myself spotting things easily. It gave me an idea. You all should have a game/app created that shows sonar imaging and you have to guess if an object is a vehicle or not. If so, you then go on to guess if it's a car, truck, SUV, etc. Earn points by correct guesses. Make it a paid game and then use the proceeds to help fund your work. I think it would be fun.
