Car manufacturers build such expensive safety devices into cars- but a simple one would be to put a window WINDING mechanism option into the car. Electric windows when you want them, yes, but a window winder there for to wind the window down when you’re in trouble and in the water? Electrical system may not even work, but a mechanical window winding option would save a person who needed to get out?
Makes sense, this is how all cars were made at one time.
I was thinking it was crazy when they took out the head rests with glass breakers that they didn’t replace it with something else. It was recognized as a need. And all the other useless things our cars do now. Would it really be too complicated?
I’ve seen people saying they purchased this channels window breaker and hook it to every seat in the car!

I remember the time my moms cousin went missing with her 16 year old son that was my cousin and they were missing for 11 months almost a year and every day we came to their favorite spot that was a bench facing this Butifull pond and my mom said she saw a tire in the trees and the tire had a Toyota logo on it and remembers that my aunt went missing in a Toyota so she called a few people and there they were my aunt and my cousin in that pond trapped in that car for 11 months waiting to come home but never did if my mom never spotted that tire they would have been in there longer and may have never been found

Loved this and can’t wait for day 2! Also if you can please look into the Mark Wells case in prairieville Louisiana. He’s a veteran and went missing with his truck in 2018. He was 56 years old at the time of his disappearance.
There's some cases I wish I could get them to look into as well. I love AWP no matter what, but I miss the old crew 😢
Found you while scrolling through and looking for something new to watch and being a crime and crime scene junkie, found myself hooked and engrossed in minutes. I mean I was able to interpret what was on the screens by the end of the first episode. I hope you, Jared and your team can keep helping these families find not just their loved one, but the answers they are looking for.

You will always be needed, your are our true Angels, you never give up and i know some times you dont find some one right away but you never quit until you do find them. And there are a lot more out there doing the same to help people find their missing loved ones. Thank you AWP for starting this, we live you.i am on a fixed income so it is hard to send money but i do hope you come back to the Ohio Valley there are a lot more missing persons cases and i beieve you will find them in the waters here. It would take a few of you but i believe you with the help of the others will find more of them. Think about it, i hope you do come back and from Wheeling down to through Parkersburg Wv. Just for starters you could search clear to where the Ohio and the Mississippi rivers meet

I can tell you that sometimes some of the depression medication can make the depression so much worse, I had a scens of it wasn't wort fighting, I was sad and kinda num.
My luck was my doctor That figured out that it wasn't working.
So getting medicine isn't always the happy ending, sometimes you have to try different kind before the right one helps.

Yes that isn't good to stop taking them , mabey if you get help to takin 1/2 pil les and then Keep taking less, then you can stop half way if you realize that you need them or some of it.

Some meds require you to taper down before discontinuing and others don't. Speak with your doc prior. It can take several trials with different medications before finding one that helps. This can take time as it can take awhile to determine if it's effective. Hopefully down the road this won't be so. Take care.
Absolutely true. Doctors should explain this to you. I tried 4 then BINGO! OMG! I FINALLY FELT TOTALLY NORMAL. NOT DRUGGED. NO INTERNAL STRUGGLING WITH THE MED OR MY DARK THOUGHTS. NO PARANOID MOMENTS. LIKE BEING A KID AGAIN. KEEP HOPE SOMEWHERE TUCKED INSIDE. IT IS SOOO WORTH IT.
I used to work with kids in treatment. They told me the meds don’t make you happy, they make you numb. They lived life with no emotions, including joy. They cause a huge self harm rate in kids. I’ve never forgotten that conversation. 😢

Ever since watching these during the Pandemic, I have developed an admiration of mystery theater-of sorts. Not Sherlock Holmes per se, but unsolved mysteries. I think this is better than 48 Hours. You're on the edge of your seat wondering if the case will be solved. Doesn't get any better than that. Haven't seen AWP in awhile. So glad it popped up again on the menu.

youve got western governments either leaving billions in weapons or funding proxy wars, yet a small team like this actually providing closure for families where law enforcement failed or give up deserve government funding.. just think what this small team of expert divers could achieve with just a few million dollars funding each year ,which may i add is a drop in the sea compared to the thousands of millions (Billions) already wasted/laundered abroad this year alone...

@@MVB6900 just seems so obvious that these guys are needed and not knocking the emergency services but these guys do a better job as they specialise in just underwater recovery plus it would take the workload off the firefighters allowing more fires to be extinguished .
They could get a grant farely easy especially with all the law enforcement they've helped. If they wait till November they shouldn't have any red tape❤❤❤

I've learned 2 things that I find very important. When someone goes missing along eith their vehicle, without a trace, if they live around bodies of water, they could be doen there. Also, cars can go very deep into any body of water, they somehow travel really far at times so it's important to check all over.

Yup, they will are good like that, we have to wait but they don't block us. We still buy merch and donate and watch and also share and bring good words of this team n Jared! He's just someone I could listen to for however, love hearing him explain and let families put in the involvement. I remember when they not so loyal were not to nice and ragging on Jared for doing it his way, it is still the best way, and they actually pushed him overboard as it were, so forget that. I'm very sensitive and he's the least insensitive person I've heard and watched, am honored to have caught him years ago, and still going. Loyal to AWP
Question out of curiosity:
In those cold cases, do you also try to get maps from the time they went missing and compare those with the current maps? Since a lot of things can change in 10+years.
Are you able to add the date or even the month you did the search? Just interesting to see the date and how weather wise things change from month to month

Y'all give me hope that heroes still exist.
I wish movies would be made from the stories of actual heroes. So we(especially children) would stop looking up to or admiring fantasy heroes and we would start honoring these people by simply being proud of them on a massive scale. Thoughts and we'll wishes are energy, and when we share one big sentiment as a whole, it makes a difference.
Some Mazda trucks were Aluminum in-part. Magnet won't get it if you hit the aluminum portions of the design. Land Rovers are mostly aluminum.

@adventures with a purpose I know Mansfield hollow lake and dam very well I grew up not from there I do know occasionally I’ve seen it flood over its banks on bad storm I know a lot of body’s of water in the Windham county Area

Unfortunately, not much. Local LE most of the time turns a blind eye. Out of sight, out of mind. Either lack of resources, or lack of budget.

Yes. Matt and Jared were out last weekend working Marty Evans (missing bridesmaid) and another case in the mountain lakes. Lots of behind the scenes where cameras are not always rolling.
Some fords are made out of aluminum. Also some truck beds are made of fiber glass. Not the complete bed. But the duellys have fiberglass fenders Keep that in mind boys 👊 great job either way

Everytime bodys are found it is a perfect example of how the cops don't even try to investigate the situation
Jared when i was a teenager i stole a ford ranger which is the same vehicle you're looking for i took it on atv trails and bike trails that were dirt so the vehicle your looking for will fit down those types of trails i am much older now made some mistakes but when looking for small pickups like the Mazda or Ford Ranger of those years don't count out those types of access points either

How long ago did you search up in New England? It seems recent with the weather. This summer has been the worst since the summer of 09 which was my first summer out of the Army. I knew the missing person looked familiar I have seen flyers and news about him over the years. The campground I stay at is right next to the CT line.
