We need a Ni no kuni Wrath of the white Witch Movie based on the first game animated and directed by Studio Gibli as it would make a perfect movie Oliver's journey should be experienced by everyone
The game Is too long for a single movie and doing a movie series would be too expensive for an not that big possibility of success
There is a movie adaption, not made by Studio Ghibli unfortunately

How about Ollie’s mom. Oliver’s journey is done. I would love to see her and Oliver have more time together. I like to see more of what she was in the past too
This game is reminiscent to Hayao Miyazaki’s movies such as Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Castle In The Sky and Howls Moving Castle.

As for Ps3 being more powerful than, that's objectively false. Switch portable mode is slightly faster than Wii U. Wii U is faster than PS3. Switch has 4GB of Ram to PS3's 256mb.

@@mma070181 Switch and PS3 are on entirely different architectures. Their gflops are not directly comparable. Look at any game on both PS3 and Switch game runs and looks better, even in portable mode. Notable examples are Bayonetta and Skyrim off the top of my head. FIFA and LA Noire as well.

Ruby#21 - They worked alongside Ghibli for a lot of the game, so it’d be a shock if the art style was anything less than beautiful.
It's a J-RPG master piece. And the OST was made at the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra

It's a stunning and joyful game and it's so incredible. There's no other game I've found as resonant as Wrath of the White Witch.
This game resonated with me on so many levels.
I lost my mom when I was 11 due to an illness and I had no idea this game could relate to me on many different levels. By the end of the game, i could almost feel that my mom is somehow proud of me.

Funny thing, this isn’t even the remake. The eShop version is the original PS3 release. Goes to show how powerful the switch is and how well this game ages.

I'm so excited for this game. Ni No Kuni holds such a soft spot in my heart. It was the first ever videogame I completed on the PS3 and developed my love for gaming of which I still have now. It's a shame that I won't be able to purchase it for a while.
Can you explain to me how the combat is? I haven't played either game and the combat in the 2nd one looks way better. I don't care much for turn based combat. What do you think?

B-Radical Entertainment for me they are two completely different games. The first one is a Pokemon/turn based/JRPG, where you collect and train up familiars which you then use to fight for you in a turn based environment but you can still move around in combat to be a bit more tactical. The second one is more of an action RPG where you are fighting more in real time and you move at a quicker pace. It all depends on what style of game you like more.
Also to note the first ones story and cutscenes along with the animation are second to none due to Studio Ghibli working with level 5 on the game. However for the second one they are sadly absent so you see a notable dip in the story and the animation.
All depends on what your priorities for a game are, the first and second games are basically different genres.

Legendary jrpg packed to the brim with originality and one of the best art styles in gaming PERIOD. Studio Ghibli added so much into this gigantic jrpg experience.

Its a epic tale about a boy who on a journey to bring his mother back to life. Sure it had its tedious moments but I was invested so much in the story and lore
I bought this wonderful game two days ago, the studio Ghibli atmosphere is very evident in many many moments.. it's great game at a great price in the online store promotion.. for those who like RPG's you can't go wrong with this one.

Just finished this game for the first time today. What a charming and great experience. It may not be the best game I've played but it had many great moments and I'm glad I got to experience this. Might even play nnk2 in the future which I'm looking forward to
