Duramax LB7 Engine Assembly - Roadmaster Wagon Diesel build part 16

We're back on the wagon!
It's time to re-assemble the top end of the LB7 Duramax engine that is headed into my 1994 Buick Roadmaster station wagon. As usual, mistakes will be made!

Smart on GM's part to make the heads the same on both passenger and driver side, it saved a lot of money on the manufacturing side. It's coming together, very exciting to see what other problems that you'll be up against. Like that firewall next to that turbo. I'm still having a hard time figuring out how this thing will drive with a big loud diesel. I'm thinking that it will feel like you are sitting on the motor while driving.

Yeah, I'm concerned about that as well. Especially because I literally will be sitting on the transmission, and not far at all from the motor.
