When you put icon to large that has no label, it just look not right to me for some reason. I hope Apple add like scroll wheel or something to adjust the size of icons next update.
Yeah a lot of third party launchers on Android will have that exact feature where you can shrink the opposite all the way down to an increments of 5 to 200%. And then you can choose whether or not to include labels whether or not they should stack if they're really long, what color the label should be whether or not they adhere to your dark mode or have custom colors.
The scientific calculator when you turn your phone landscape has been around for many years. I don’t think people have known about it but I’m still on iOS 17 and I have those buttons for square roots, 1/x, etc. I even remember having that on my iPhone 7 back in the day. But it’s very cool to see how much more robust the calculator app has gotten. Very excited about iOS 18!

Downloaded iOS 18 last night on my 13 pro max and CarPlay no longer works on my car. It worked fine before ios 18 but now it only works if I delete it the connection from my car and phone and repair. But when I turn the car off the problem starts again. Anyway to delete iOS 18 and go back to 17?
The photos app I thought was amazingly done. Everything in one place and separates by screenshots, handwriting, receipts, and how to sort what you need. I’m upgrading to the 16 pro from a 12 pro. AI will be awesome.

Yeah, I did 17.7 first then iOS 18 so the one thing I don’t like and I think a lot of people agree on this is the control center. You know the drop-down menu like where the Wi-Fi as the signal is the rotation button you know where you go from landscape to vertical and all that that’s the biggest frustration for a lot of people, including myself
Who ever made a decision to replace bluetooth and data icons with airdrop and airplane and also removed option to add silent mode back should be fired.

Step change for iOS. There was already deep integrated personalisation. This adds a whole load of usability improvements. Love it. Shifted from android to iOS as my main phone (though still keeping an android 14 phone as a secondary phone). Choice is good and the iPhone 16 pro is a stunning bit of hardware. Love the camera button.
I’m making the move! I have the 14 pro Max as well and already missed out on the action button from the 15 pro, with the additional camera button i don’t want to fall behind the learning curve too much more another year hahaha
The highlight in Notes, doesn't work. It only highlights blank space. I love that we can now add Face ID Required on apps because that's what I've always wanted and now it's here. I also love that we can finally customize Photos and Pinned Albums. This is what I always wanted, as well. The Calculator with conversion is the most useful to me right now as I am travelling soon.
I think the new photo app is nice. I hide all my screenshots. Organized by recently added. Then I set up Pinned Collections with some albums and preferred options. Definitely different but I got it set up nice. Plus, I like the “recent days” so I can quickly go to photos by day

I instantly changed all the settings on my photo album bc it was bothering me -you have to play around with it but there are a ton of settings to get rid of all of the clutter and to resize the picture icons
There’s a new feature that it has you follow the dots. Then after that, you can control your phone with your eyes so let’s say you look at an app and you blink. It will open it.

Does anyone have any information on the front camera of the iPhone 15? It was the worst quality to the point where I feel like I'm not even using an iPhone. The back camera is wonderful but the front is terrible. It looks great when you snap the photo but when you go back to look at it the quality drops.

Head to the bottom and click on customize, deselect what you don’t want. I took everything off except for utilities
I can’t find the recents album! Updating on my iPad screwed up things!
