I just have to add my voice to the many saying how much I enjoy watching these playthroughs. You guys are now my go-to for reviews of new and interesting games (and an instant watch when a new video pops). I only play games with my wife of 24+ years and it is awesome to see both of your unique takes in terms of play style and strategy. Keep up the good work!
Comments have been disabled on your latest upload so I just want to take the time to apologize for all the HORRIBLE things that have been said about you. I LOVE your channel and will always support you.
You guys are the best! My kids and I watch your videos and love them. I 100% support you both as assets to this community. I can't wait for you to return from your break . I would also comment on your distractors but feel wouldn't want it so instead GAME ON!!
I shouldn't jump to final thoughts all the time ;-) thanks for the update and don't tell anybody, but I know that some of my playtatesters would prefer your AntLab variant (activationg only one action can be quite painful for some players ;-) ) !
Just saw your last video (sunday, august 12th...) and I cannot beleive what is happening to you both. I just want to say that your vids are great, I like the interaction between the two of you, you have been improving a lot in the last year (quality of the format of the videos), your comments are always interesting and well thought of. Keep up the good work! Sorry for my english, my native language is french...
Great job. Thanks for correcting your video. That is a lot of work. And, thank you for explaining the difference between the two videos (I watched part of it Monday afternoon, then it was gone Monday eve.). We enjoyed watching this. Love that you two give it a “real” play test (e.g., read the rules and play). Years ago, four of us experienced gamers played a very fun game of Forge War. Then we learned we were playing it “wrong.” Played it once the “right” way. Never played it again. It’s just a game. So, we play some house rules for more fun. Putting in the link to the old one is also a class move. That way others can share your “variant.” Very well done. Glad to be a new subscriber.
I also want to voice my support for you guys. I've been watching your channel for a while now and I really appreciate all you do in the community. I'm saddened to hear all that you have had to endure. You guys are great and I'm sure you have thousands more supporters than detractors. Gonna miss you while you are gone, but I'll still be here when you get back. Recharge quick😀
Love that you made the corrections, thank you! Love the designers, the game (haven't played but looks really cool), and you two! Thanks for all you do :)
Let me start by saying how I really appreciate you putting in the extra work on a video like this 👍 That said... The end of the video when Anthony is saying how relieved he was that all the extra AP inducing elements that weren't intended were "too much" if you look at Frances' face while he's explaining all the choices it doesn't look like she thinks it's too much at all lol. Thennnnn.... "Combos!". Frances please make that game!
Thanks for the play through. I must have seen your original video as it sort of scared me off because of too many unconnected mechanics. I did pick it up recently and thanks to your updated video, I am now glad that I did. Instead of too many moving parts, I see a lot of stress in not having enough time to do what you want to do. And I LOVE that !
Sorry people are attacking you, keep your heads up and keep playing board games, you are 2 open minded people and your letting trolls ruin the whole fun! You will always have my attention! You 2 rock!!! Keep playing board games, and this is sad to see you to go through this... love from the Garza family! Don’t stop having fun!
I really appreciate your efforts to get this right. I have to say that after watching the previous iteration of this runthrough, I was really turned off to the game as it seemed far too loose, and the last round was completely superfluous as there was almost nothing left to do. I took the game off my wishlist. Now, it's back on. Thanks, again.
Thank you. if I do get this game I think I'll try both methods. Your playthroughs are great and very helpful. Great channel, good people, intelligent analysis. Please come back soon.
I hope you put the variant you guys first played on BGG for the game. It looked quite good. It’s kinda a cool mechanic to have the two different ways of playing Newton.
Thanks for taking the time to re-upload again it with the fixed way to play it. Now I'm curious, can you briefly describe what is the difference in respect you played before? Could it be described as a variant to make the game "harder"? It may be interesting at some time...
Interesting. It makes sense I guess, like I said in my comment on the last video (and you said in this video) it did seem like you ran out of things to do at the end of that playthrough and in this one it seemed like it lasted the right amount of time to force you to focus more if you want to get one thing completely done. But on the other hand I think your version seems like the more interesting game. I don't necessarily get excited about lighter euros or feel like I need more of them. I was also excited about Coimbra from the other GAH/Lorenzo people since it had such a cool central mechanism but ultimately underwhelmed because it just felt too simple. Though I do love Council of Four from Luciani despite how light it is. Still interested in this one but a bit more tentative now.
you wisely shut off comments on your last video (12 August). Without neither knowing what exactly happened nor wanting to know the details, I just wanted to let you know that I love your videos and I hope you and especially Frances are not taking the situation too seriously. Thanks
Just wanted to say I saw this coming anyone that tries to be serious on you tube helpful or not their are people that will jump all over you... you have a gaming channel I would stick to fun stuff maybe start a different channel for serious opinions ...this comment is about your gencon experience..but what do I know

Another great video. You guys are quickly becoming one of my favourite RUclips channels. You present the games in a fun and accessible way.

eric brooks Amen. What has been happening to you guys is awful. I really hope you guys can bounce back. Praying for you especially Frances. 🙏
Thank you for the clear and concise playthrough! This game is definitely going on my wishlist :)

Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to plow through the ambiguities in the rules and putting this out again! Tremendous production values!!

You guys just keep on being awesome. You are my go to for the more complex games. We need you in the review mix big time.
Nice playthrough! There were not many euros that stod out to me this years, but Newton and Gugong are the exceptions.
I also want to voice my support for you guys. I've been watching your channel for a while now and I really appreciate all you do in the community. You guys are awesome. Thanks once again for teaching me how to play a new game. I appreciate it.

Just picked this up, and after watching this, I really can't wait to play! Thanks very much for a fantastic video!
Our pleasure and we hope you enjoy!
@@AntLabGames I did indeed! :D

This game reminds me of a very overlooked game, de vulgari eloquentia, in the theme of moving around a map and searching for knowledge.

Great playthrough! Really influenced my decision to purchase Newton from my FLGS. Good work :D
Missed this one, looks great:) Hope you’re doing well💚

Miss you guys. I hope you come back soon
Very nice playthrough, thanks guys! The game won't be for my Mrs and me, but I think you showcased it very well nonetheless.
Thanks for the video. Have you played a prototype or the final game?
Keep making these great videos please.
One quick query. The beginning says for 1-4 players. Isn’t it 2-4 players or has something changed ?
After looking both Newton playthrough videos, looks like there is very little player interaction. Love the theme though.
Do the player boards have a side that is different for each player?

Thanks for this! ANDOHMYGODIT'SSOBROWN. Pre-ordered. :D
I like the game and we have played a few times. However, I agree that the rule book is not very useful. I found it very confusing.
Stopping let's the haters win

So much potential with this game to create a really stunning, thinking , puzzly and thematic game. Just doesn’t come across as any of those things.
What kind of microphone is that?
Nice spanish pronuntiation Frances!!!!

You talk about the previous incorrect video FAR too much, though! Still, thanks for the upload.
