Absolutely LOVE these videos when we get to dive into the logistsics of these giant companies. I've used prime before and it's really helpful for speedy delivery, but it dosent fit into my current budget so it's not that important.
I use it alpt because of its return policies shipping and the level of security for what it's worth. However having prime delivery and get 3 packages shipped 3 different times it packaging waste and in my case more clearing cost locally

For business Amazon Prime is great. For the residential customer it is just a money grab and encourages overspending.
Amazon stock is performing poorly right now because Big Tech was in a bubble, and that bubble has now popped. Also, higher bond yields drove tech stocks down because they're more focused on long-term gains. Wal Mart didn't go down as much because it's not a tech company, it's a retailer.

I don't shop much from Amazon so $15 per month isn't worth it.
There's much more to prime than just free shipping. Prime video has movies and series not available on other platforms, free games, a free sub each month on Twitch, etc. If you use Netflix now and aren't happy with what they're offering, you could try Prime out instead.

Amazon Prime is okay, but package deliveries are all over the place. Many items do not arrive in a couple days. I have had items take over a month to be delivered. It is very inconsistent.

Amazon has pre-raise his price so many times since Covid and now that next day shipping is anywhere from 5 to 10 days out they’re crazy. I can go to a store in 5 to 10 days.
