As a beginner, I appreciate you sharing how the process is done as I advance on, I have done a few mugs but not played with layers. thanks so much for explaining this so efficiently.
There's not a particular setting. You just tighten or loosen the knobs until you like how tight it is. The machine doesn't need to be super tight. You can actually leave tape imprints on your tumbler if you over-tighten it.
Without rewatching the video, I'm not sure what I used in the video, but I can share my current thoughts. Time and temp will vary with the type of blank you are using (stainless steel, glass, etc.). But with SS tumblers, I tend to use 385. My timing has evolved over time. A pretty typical time for me is 50 seconds, then rotate it 180 degrees and then another 50 seconds. I used to have two more 20 second times in my pressing, but have found it not necessary. Some machines will tell you to use 356 degrees, but I typically bump it up.
Have you tried the pinch perfect! It’s a tool that help you really get a good, tight wrap on your tumbler. I have one but haven’t used it yet. All the the reviews I’ve seen on it are really good.
I haven't tried it, but I did hear of it on a RUclips channel I watch. I should read the reviews to see if think I would like to try it. If you try it, I would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for watching!
Thank you! Here is a link to the video where I made the tumbler holder. I bought one of the really skinny pool noodles so used fairly small pvc pipe. You could take a small cut from your pool noodle to Home Depot or wherever you buy your pvc pipe to make sure you get what works for your pool noodle. ruclips.net/video/MHugaAjFZIw/видео.html
This is soo Cute it came out great and vibran I love it I have been using my cricut mug press to do my tumblers but I really like this press time to save some coins😍😍😍
Thank you for this video, so glad I found you @MakingwithMarilyn. Do you have an Amazon store, or can you tell me where you got the extra thick heat tape please?
I do not, but I use presentation paper matte with high quality printing. I don't do anything special other than that. When you press your sublimation images on other things, are the colors vibrant? Maybe it is your time/pressure/temperature?
If it doesn't close all the way when you tighten the pressure knobs, then you just have to rotate your tumbler and press again. I have several videos on showing this. Play around with your time and temp though to see what works best with your tumblers.
If a coupon is available there will be a little box by the price to check. I think the press was on sale last time I looked though without needing a coupon.
I have tried multiple. The 3 that I have that I like the best are (these are all very much the same) listed below. I have tried 2 others that I did not think worked as nicely or functioned as easily. The main thing is to make sure they fit the size or sizes of tumblers you plan to make. Mocaru amzn.to/3KsZTLb Sublifun amzn.to/3ILHMz3 Craft Express amzn.to/3lUpiDw

Very beautiful Queen. Nice technique
Thank you!!!
I love the design
If you want the print tight just stick it in the cold press & add the tape. Just position it where the paper seams are in the opening in the press.
I'll have to try that! Thank you!
Smart idea! Thank you for sharing. I too will try this.
great review and such a cute design
Thank you!

When you have an overflap. How do you know which side to fold over or does it matter?
It doesn't really matter, as long as the white from the plain paper is trimmed off the design. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Looks great!
Thanks so much!!!
Do you have a video of your epson 15000 printing settings? I have the same heat press and printer but my tumblers comes out faded
I do not, but I use presentation paper matte with high quality printing. I don't do anything special other than that. When you press your sublimation images on other things, are the colors vibrant? Maybe it is your time/pressure/temperature?
Good video thanks looks good 👍

Thank you! I appreciate it!
Hi, Making with Marilyn, it looks good
Thank you Claudette!!!
How do I adjust my heat press for a 20oz tumbler? It won’t close all the way
If it doesn't close all the way when you tighten the pressure knobs, then you just have to rotate your tumbler and press again. I have several videos on showing this. Play around with your time and temp though to see what works best with your tumblers.
❤let’s goooo
Love it
Thanks Sandra!
How do you find the coupon on amazon?
If a coupon is available there will be a little box by the price to check. I think the press was on sale last time I looked though without needing a coupon.
