2021 SeaDoo RXPX Passenger Seat... Worth It?

We recently got our hands on the new RXPX. wanting a bit more room for passengers, we also bought the passenger seat optional extra, was it worth it? Let's find out!

Seat should be free or at least dirt cheap considering the cost of the damn ski in the first place, I guess Rxt will be the go..... it's always fun to be able to carry n extra person when you need it

I don't ride 2 up very often but occasionally so I'm buying the seat and I actually think the ski looks better with that seat on it plus I'm not crazy about the hump. I think I move around too much on the ski when I'm riding it.

I'd wager 100% that a GTI SE or GTX back seat piece fits this RXP perfectly....

You're 100% right, I bought mine 2 weeks ago and will put it up for sale. Didn't like riding like a cowboy.

hell no, I have a RXT and the new PX and the PX is a straight up beast, if your into riding with passengers then get a yamaha FX.

you are totally right! had a 2015 GTR , and just bought a new 2021 RXPX300 and bought the extra seat, and the position is very uncomfortable for the passenger, she needed to ride separated leaving a space for the handle, and also the cushion is way too hard.... a nightmare, we couldnt ride at all !!! had to stop several times , and couldnt keep the rythm with the rest of the seadoos. was going to sell the GTR, but i think the RXP is the one that will go instead!!! or they could quickly build and sell a good seat instead!!! if they listened to their customers....

Definitely! We found as a solo rider, the ski is super fun to ride, it's just not ideal for the family lifetsyle!

I like that accessory seat. May I ask WHY is the passenger seat higher than the driver?
I like the solid same size seats in the 80's. I want to be able to hold on to my man and more (if you know what I mean), not the freakin seat.
I have ridden on a Kawasaki and it is so high, I almost fall off. I would rather passenger seat be an extended driver height seat.

My 21 RXP will be here in April. I was certainly planning on buying the crazy expensive seat, but looking at how far back the passenger has to ride or sit on the handle makes me second guess this......

The rxpx is the best machine on the water, way better ride than the other two. The seat is fine for passengers, you can even sit on the handle it’s not that bad.

This was actually the reason that I bought my first RXTX. Zero reason that I want to torture anyone I’m riding with. They really need to work on this seat design. Even one up riding, I tend to stand with weight back and knees slightly bent; that riding position would be difficult with a big hump at your ass

Agreed the second seat is not worth it. The handle forces the second passenger to stay stay far behind. Its also not esthetically pleasing.

Definitely, hopefully in future they produce something a little bit more comfortable and pleasing to the eye!

the rpx is faster than the rtx, I have both but faster and apart from the fact that the rpx is designed to rotate easier than the rtx, write down that one.
