  • Well, here we are. A month off work in the pursuit of Swordfish. We've hit the water hard straight up with a day diving/free diving for scallops and crayfish, followed up with 2 back to back days deep dropping the continental shelf out of Eaglehawk Neck and Boomer Bay. No swordfish to report yet, for us, but there have been a few caught already and statistically the odds don't seem to bad. But, there is a whole lot of ocean out there with one baited hook dangling in it waiting for a specific species to inhale it. Had we of landed one already it would have been too easy and these aren't a fish we expect to come by without grinding it out for a bit. The weather is turning and we'll rest for a few days and see what post-Easter opportunities bring. Thanks for watching! ‪@itswizza‬ :)

Thanks for showing the hard work that goes into chasing fish sometimes! So many creators just show the bag out days and you don’t see the days of effort behind them. We had a donut day on Tuesday at Dart also…

Very true, the days don't always go to plan and you dont reach the outcome you want, but that's reality. So far we havent timed our holiday with the weather that well. I'm impatiently waiting to get back out.

Marking up plenty of them about around 200-250m deep. Caught this one right at the end of our drift when the bait was high (dropped in 480m at the start).
