Company I worked for in the eighties had docks on the back of the warehouse for any trailers over 27'. The drivers had to do basically the same as this guy, but much farther, starting out front with cross traffic, down the lengh of our building. Our office normally required incoming drivers to give us as accurate an eta as possible so they could have a couple of us help with traffic and backing. It was a mom and pop operation, and they truly did care about people. Never had any accidents or injuries this way.
I would try to do it then get frustrated because I wouldn't be able to do it.Then just go crazy and rage quit and ram the whole trailer and crash the truck into all the trailers to knock them over then go onto the road and run into everything in site.
Indeed this is very satisfying. Makes me even more excited to play American Truck Simulator when it comes out. Which I'm assuming is why this video ended up in my recommended videos. lol
Good job had to do a very similar one when i passed for my license in Nova Scotia many years ago but there is still only one way to do it and that's the right way :)
Quite a tricky technical reverse there......very good driver ! One of the places that I go to has a similar reverse, but is much tighter, through a gate and into a building, alongside another trailer. I should get someone to video it !..... You'd all be amazed ! lol.
THAT WOULD BE A NIGHTMARE FOR A NEWBIE LIKE MYSELF. I would dread having to ever go back to take any freight to that hellhole. But it does separate the good from the bad drivers though.
That has to be the Darndest place I ever seen a Dock. Unless all they get there is straight trucks, which obviosly isn't the case. HAHA My hat's off to this guy.
Well done, no sleeper, short wheelbase but still, nice job. Don't you just hate the F#ckers that can't plan a loading dock? Days down a highway then down back alleys, parked cars, dumpsters then make 90 or 170 into a building door then another 90 or some such in the damn building to line up to a loading dock 500 meters away inside and the dock you have to go to is between two trailers that hug your side of the lines. With a 250 inch wheel base and a 60 inch bunk. Na, never lie that 🎌
this is amazing I'm just thinking about the blind spot for the truck truck drivers all the safety issues they are teaching at the school. and if you can see live the view that we are able to see from watching your video from your inside the truck you can see your video inside your truck where your truck is position where you going the back and the front of your trucks this would be awesome technology to be used individual drivers.
Looks like they would be able to drive in there and reverse around on the blind side, but would need to fill the docks up right to left, leaving room for the last semi to finish up on the left dock. Impressive driving though.
hes defiantly done this before, im sure the first time took him a bit longer. would have been impressive without the pull up but a successful back is one where you get in the dock without hitting anything, its just another day in the life.
I like how people are talking shit about "if he had a sleeper". This guy backed it up thru a parking lot with trucks and cars on both sides. The only advantage he had with not having a sleep was his turning ration can be much tighter. That's it. Give the fucking guy his due props. Fuckin haters always!
well it is easy once you know where your trailer goes im only driving for 6 months and doing local deliveres with 53'. even you can easily do this one with sleeper
Just wondering did he do all that parking for practice or this video cause soon as he or in the spot he pulled rt out just really curious but still one hell of a job thou
Now that's a driver, awesome, kinda like me! LOL! We have a store in Paramus NJ. really tough spot. out of 75 drivers they only send a handful of us there, 'cause no one can back in. the receiver tells me they are out there 30/45 mins or more. backing in. Myself & a few others back in loke 5mins. Not braggin' but WTF, learn how to drive, the sad thing is they get $.50 less than we do.
And we're just truck drivers, intelligence to do it safely, confidence to do it and perseverance to get it done the right way. We have to have those qualities every time we get behind the wheel regardless of what type of vehicle. If you're another driver no matter what country and you crap on another, that just means you're not a true professional. We get shafted enough by the government don't you think? Hate somewhere else dummies!
He's backing on HIS side, so no real issue whatsoever. He had PLENTY of space, so this video certainly does not qualify for some epic backing up video by any stretch.
My respect to that driver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a pilot and this is more difficult than learning to land a plane.

you can tell this is this driver frequents this stop lol Knew where all the right pivot point were at. great job!
"It'll be easy", they said. "Just use your mirrors," they said...
lol
Hahahah
Lol
Im new. Only been driving for 2 months. But still I struggle with parking. I hope I get as good as him in parking so I can work local
G Ks same here. I got it on test. But I forgot everything when I'm solo
Just keep on practicing dude..you will get it.
Just time
I've only been driving for a short time man you'll see drastic improvements based on the situation you get your self in. Just don't give up.
What is the part you struggle on specifically.
this is why engineers and architects shouldnt smoke crack
Only car drivers are afraid of this dock : ))
They dont care, they got their paycheck,so as a driver my self,we are the ones that get fucked.
Ok i give it to him, hi is a "PRO" but when he does this blindsided with sleeper berth, he is GOD.
jim smith that's a lie
Guy needs an award. That would take me 20 more minutes xD
lol..same here
It will take my whole day even then I won’t be able to reverse 😀
I would try to do it then get frustrated because I wouldn't be able to do it.Then just go crazy and rage quit and ram the whole trailer and crash the truck into all the trailers to knock them over then go onto the road and run into everything in site.
He do this reverse daily
Indeed this is very satisfying. Makes me even more excited to play American Truck Simulator when it comes out. Which I'm assuming is why this video ended up in my recommended videos. lol
Lol. I think I should play that game before I even attempt this.
1racerboy1 Play ETS2 with Trickymap mod :)
SUPER AWESOME BACKING SKILLS !!!
You ROCK Driver !!! 😎
could never figure out why companies put docks in the dumbest areas.. LIKE THAT!!!
Lack of space?
dakotalayinlow usually because these shitholes were designed when 45' wagons and straight bodies ruled the road.
Joe Anthing lack of brains, actually. lol
To give us drivers a hard time
Good job had to do a very similar one when i passed for my license in Nova Scotia many years ago but there is still only one way to do it and that's the right way :)
Who designed this facility? Good grief.
The makers of Tetris....
Kevyn Bamboo LOL. And we don't even get any theme music..
Kevin Looks like a pain in the ass to me...I'd say he's a good driver dealing with a PITA unloading dock. just my opinion.
+F!@#Guilt Must of had shares in tyre company, thats sure going to take some life off the trailer tyres.
Someone who owns a company that makes clutches for semi tractors.
Yeah Those short little day cabs are handy
Quite a tricky technical reverse there......very good driver ! One of the places that I go to has a similar reverse, but is much tighter, through a gate and into a building, alongside another trailer. I should get someone to video it !..... You'd all be amazed ! lol.
love to see it !
Post a link when you do please
That was impressive! I am in awe of that truck driver!
Now try that with a sleeper cab hooked to the other trlr!
Now that's a damn good driver.
THAT WOULD BE A NIGHTMARE FOR A NEWBIE LIKE MYSELF. I would dread having to ever go back to take any freight to that hellhole. But it does separate the good from the bad drivers though.
bottom line is that he did a great job.
Man, I need 20 minutes to park a truck in a game 😂
I taught you well. You make me proud.
Parking at a Loves late at night is baby work for this driver. Great backing!
I can't even back up in a Nissan sentra, shit.
This my fellow hanns is a boneified truck!Driver!!
Gotta love the "He's good but..." comments.
That kind of skill comes with experience!
EXACTLY how I would have done it. A real driver!!! Kudos.!
Great job sir your a perfect truck driver..I salute you
good job man!! Amazing I was actually screaming at the TV LOL
That has to be the Darndest place I ever seen a Dock. Unless all they get there is straight trucks, which obviosly isn't the case. HAHA My hat's off to this guy.
expert maneuvering!. bravo!. deserves a raise by his company.
It is difficult to reverse a long truck in mobile game and these drivers are perfectionists i real life.... hat's off ... Excellent driving skill 👌💪💪💪
Simply awesome what these guys can do
WOOW, I impressed, takes life time to get this.
beautiful 1 pull up and a 53 footer......ok and a day cab.
but 1pull up he knew where his axles were at all times .
I am a new driver and I would love to do that challenge. I love back that long thing.
"Like a glove!" -Ace Ventura
That dock was tuff but fair I have had them worse then that and I had one that I got into but went threw hell to leave I can’t explain it
I have nothing but respect for that guy
Best place to learn for a new driver.
Good piece of driving. All tho a day cab and axles on trailer slid all the way up sure helps.
have to say i give credit where credit is due he done more then good job there too
Awesome body...
And that ain't no, swift
👍😎
Now that's what I'm talking about bro good shit man I love to see some skills
Oddly satisfying.
Well done, no sleeper, short wheelbase but still, nice job. Don't you just hate the F#ckers that can't plan a loading dock? when we watch seems easy , for doing maneuver like this need at least 5years experiences or more ,crazy this driver one of the best
the only time a day cabs back window comes in handy, is when your blindside backing. so give credit where its due.
In America trucks are so much longer and bigger wow, nice skills
Victor. shit canada is introducing 60 ft. Trailers Wal-Mart just ordered them
Why did he come from all the way around the building? Someone showing off their skills perhaps? lol. Great job driver!!!
Bad dude u the man.. let the haters hate...wow LOL
two thumbs for the driver 👍👍
Now do it with your 14 hour clock running out in the middle of Detroit with no on site parking.
Shirley Pickana not a problem. you adopt SWIFTS method and just back til it sounds expensive, then floor it to make it work.
this is amazing I'm just thinking about the blind spot for the truck truck drivers all the safety issues they are teaching at the school. and if you can see live the view that we are able to see from watching your video from your inside the truck you can see your video inside your truck where your truck is position where you going the back and the front of your trucks this would be awesome technology to be used individual drivers.
It's very nice to have a daycab. Now imagine doing this shit with a sleeper in your truck.
Thats what I call a super trucker!
Looks like they would be able to drive in there and reverse around on the blind side, but would need to fill the docks up right to left, leaving room for the last semi to finish up on the left dock. Impressive driving though.
Just got my license last week in the first try. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do this at all. Probably will have to call backup driver for it.
did you have prior experience, my road test is aug 10
i took 6 lessons
piece of cake in a LITTLE day cab!!!
hes defiantly done this before, im sure the first time took him a bit longer. would have been impressive without the pull up but a successful back is one where you get in the dock without hitting anything, its just another day in the life.
nice job! I need to practice!
Some wicked driving!
that was really good. daycab didn't hurt a little bit though
I like how people are talking shit about "if he had a sleeper". This guy backed it up thru a parking lot with trucks and cars on both sides. The only advantage he had with not having a sleep was his turning ration can be much tighter. That's it. Give the fucking guy his due props. Fuckin haters always!
Exactly. These guys talking shit aren't even truck drivers. Most of them wouldn't even be able to back up a 10' U-Haul.
There is a food 4 less in east LA that is harder than this , but still a job well done by this driver
well it is easy once you know where your trailer goes im only driving for 6 months and doing local deliveres with 53'. even you can easily do this one with sleeper
Great video.
dam fine job pard!
Just wondering did he do all that parking for practice or this video cause soon as he or in the spot he pulled rt out just really curious but still one hell of a job thou
I wanna be that good when I grow up smh.
Great job driver!
Damn that's good parking
Respect... Sick skills.
professional driver.
Good job how did you how to get in there?
Now that's a driver, awesome, kinda like me! LOL! We have a store in Paramus NJ. really tough spot. out of 75 drivers they only send a handful of us there, 'cause no one can back in. the receiver tells me they are out there 30/45 mins or more. backing in. Got damn that was a sweet back in
That was amazing
Amazing!simply amazing, u the man!
Even if it’s a daycab he or she deserves respect ✊
nice. well done mate.
Give that man a cookie
MADD props. Had to do that couple of times
Not easy
Awesome, I'd push that with a 10 spd., and a Detroit DD13
Dang good driving!
Vamos raza!! Si se puede cumplir metas

nice videos great skills
Omg I can't even do this in gta. Thank god I'm not a truck driver
not a bad spot to backup compared to some Chinese meat packing shops I deliver my goods to
My new hero.
Dang he's smooth....
He's backing on HIS side, so no real issue whatsoever. He had PLENTY of space, so this video certainly does not qualify for some epic backing up video by any stretch.
this is where they need to send new cdl recruits. after this they'll learn how to back right doing it for while.
they need to hire him as a pilot like the big ships get when they come into port
That driver did that.. 👌
Well done 👏🏻👏🏻
dam nice job
