Fun Fact: this episode was storyboarded almost a year ago. It was the 3rd elden ring episode storyboarded (because this was where i was in the game at the time)
We held off on it until now because we decided we wanted to make elden ring into one of our cartoon series.
So this one is one of the originals! :D

Yeah I died once like that when I was fighting the Godskin Apostle in the Tower in Caelid, There is an enemy just before the boss room.
That's why I never feel bad about cheesing things in this game because of bs like that.

That one Banished Knight is one of the top most back-breaking non-boss enemies.
I think it is my hardest non boss enemy. I died alot trying to kill him once! I was a sorcerer!
He's ridiculous. That combo is seriously like eight hits long and as almost no latency. He's like a Ringed Knight from DS3 but much worse
I beat Commander Niall on my first try. That Banished Knight took like 20 attempts.

In fact, I can't understand why people don't see that the boss is literally doing nothing, his phantoms are still alive. Only after their death does the second phase of the boss begin

@@maestrrsantarael6590 Eh, I tried leaving one alive and kiting it. Phase 2 starts at ~50% even if his phantoms are alive.

I died several times because of getting hit from Behind the Fog!
Also fun when your spirits and the npcs on the other side of the fog wall stand there trying to fight each other while you deal with the boss.
@@themphantom9138 Yep. Geting to boss, and trying to ring bell asap, and there is sword in your ass from mobs behind fog.
I've had one get through the fog wall behind me a couple times. They are just built different.

A common one, many memes surrounding him have the instant transmission noise or the "dematerialize" noise. Yes, that's what the normal short range teleport is called, as by Jeice in the Frieza Saga.

I really hope that after 500 deaths he just summons Tishe or LMSH to kill her for him
Well, Malenia IS pretty easy compared to other bosses. I found Radagan + elden beast way harder
On no particular order. Swamp of rot. Blizzard area where you can't see a damned thing. Farum Azul. Godskin Duo. Haligtree.
@@Dargoneth Malenia is easy when you realize her AI is complete garbage phase 1 and she will circle the entire arena staring at you as you continuously hit her with hitscan spells.
Radagon is what gave me trouble. He will *not* sit around and wait to be hit.
Oleg is a great summon. When I ran into his evil twin I was like “Oh this is what the bosses feel like when I Simmons him”
Oleg was my best bud through the whole game. Got him early and never switched back.

Oleg basically carried me through the whole game. XD I used others like the black knife and one of the mausoleum knights. But when I found Oleg he never left my side XD

@@Jafroboy nah Oleg is one of the summons the boss uses. The summon that duo wields the claymores.

The one with duals was sick, at first playthrough. Skilled combos.
That’s why Oleg was my forever summon. Only whipped him out for the toughest of fights, or for multi-bosses, because anything else he would just solo

That happened to me when I was trying to get to the site of grace in the castle I ran pass the knight and I’m right in front of the site of grace and he’s right behind me whispering in my ear “I’m here to extend your car warranty”
You just know he’s gonna have to summon “Let me Solo Her” for Melenia.
I just hope they show how "Let Me Solo Her" didn't always win....
Twist of fate: he summons "Let Her Solo Me" who proceeds to get rekt.

The cowardly sprint through Castle Sol to get to the boss arena is incredibly accurate. I hope we get to see the Commander Niall boss fight!
I once cleared the Castle to know if I was missing something from my first run. Never again. Nope. Not a single chance I'm not sprinting to Niall. I don't even remember the loot beeing good.
@@unai49999 the loot is half of a medallion that unlocks the last area of the game. Yeah you're right, the loot wasn't good.

Unai is referring to the fact that the majority of the castle itself has sweet FA in terms of decent loot, besides what you get from killing Niall. All of the mobs before him are just to weaken you prior to getting into the boss arena, so the best strat is to sprint
@@johannesmanninen6416 bruh, I mean there's no good reason to explore the castle. The only good reward is after Niall so everyone runing to the boss room makes sense.
There's a talisman and a sickle kind of sword if I remember correctly and that's all. Maybe some crafting stuff.
Why would anyone sprint to the boss when there's a perfectly serviceable elevator to the side with zero mobs around it? It's almost like devs put it there intentionally.
That ff9 soundtrack matches the scene perfectly😲

That one teleporting knight is both the most terrifying and genius enemy in the game. Finally, an enemy that cannot be safely ranged down... but also a real problem for that same reason. Is pretty spectacular when you're not the one fighting him.

I can see her eyes closed tongue out slashing away rolling around the ground or super serious dbz stuff like the banished knight here just teleporting and owning our dear tarnished. Maybe even a let me solo her summon at the end

I think this is the best one yet. The insanity just outside the castle and the instant transmission knight weren't even exaggerated.

One of the worst parts about those teleporting ghost knights is that the unaltered Banished Knight’s Chest armor is only farmable from 2 of them. You can’t find that piece anywhere else in the game. And it’s an _awesome piece!_
Or you could farm it from any other banished knight and alter it back?

The expressions on the PC’s face are absolutely amazing. The way you convey different shades of emotion are a masterclass. Also, the reference to DBZ in the way the knight kicked him around before the ground smash was priceless.

Oh My God. This episode so was spot on. It was incredible. The instant transmission dual wielding knight, he screwed me so many times. The ballista's with exploding bolts were devestating. Even being hit through the mist after entering... wow. Increadible Carbot, keep up the amazing work.

@marloncebo242 never discourage fellow souls players, I've been coming back to 1 for years now and I still say fuck that game and stop for a while. I've beaten 2 3 bloodborne and elden ring but 1 just pisses me off, but one day I will finish it. It's the souls formula

Mountaintops of the Giants and Castle Sol in particular are where the real Elden Ring began. Seriously, the zone went from 0 to "You Died" like none other. Always chaotic there, especially so when you start bringing in player summons and invaders too!

0:04 Those giant skeletons are a usual occurrence in the area near Castle Sol. There is a Tibia Mariner nearby (if you don't know it's a weird skeleton in a boat). From what I remember he is hidden on the side of the road on a mountain ledge. It's tricky to find him and he is not even placed as a boss. Fucking terrible. But this is just the first part of the annoyance in this damn place.

Ah, I just love it when enemies can smack me through the fog wall. It's happened enough that now in any FromSoftware game where the boss run involves enemies chasing me to the fog, I automatically roll forward once I'm through it just to avoid getting hit. The Abyss Watchers, Pontiff Sulyvahn, and Champion Gundyr all are like that in DS3; especially the Abyss Watchers. Got hit nearly every time I went through the fog and forgot to roll forwards once or twice.
Being accosted by the Giant Skeletons, then the Death Rite Bird, then the Tibia Mariner was the highlight of my Castle Sol adventures

Fun fact about this teleporting knight. There is a cliff a fair ways out of Castle Sol but you can still see the knight and get an arrow to reach him, at max range but he still can and WILL teleport to you if you shoot him from there. And won't deaggro.
