It's really cool to see how the Sticks have grown and improved over the series. The Green we knew at the first episode would never be able to pull off such insane evasion, and Red wasn't nearly as creative or determined either. So many series only show the progression of the main character, so it's very cool to see such a vibrant cast all get attention, and in-universe it's really fascinating that whatever "program" the Sticks are, they're clearly growing and evolving as a result of all the crazy situations they get into. Green probably got so good at sensing danger due to all the hell he's gone through in the shorts 😂
It's also evident that their personalities are developing far past "animal guy", "potion guy", "redstone guy", and "art guy". Red's contraptions this short are borderline Yellow level.

I think Purple has always been canon to the AvA/AvM Series for awhile, since he is mainly involved for the story of AvM’s Series than the Main Series
With Green being the one targeted for pain throughout this series, it makes sense that he knows how to avoid pranks.
But what I thought with Purple was that he might know green the most, considering how Green encouraged him and whatnot in the Noteblock universe, which is why he was able to find out how to get Green. :b
Very neat detail is that in the split second before the giant cake hits the ground, Red already replaced himself with a dummy made of red wool. The one thing I love about Alan's storytelling is his consistency in making sure everything lines up, even if its only on screen for a single second. 👏

The sheer effort Red put in to prank Green is astounding. I love how Purple helped to prank Green, especially when it was Green who helped Purple out the most and gave him a second chance. True friendship, in every sense of the word, because only the truest of friends help get you pranked

The Reason Why Green is So Crazily Good at Avoiding Objects comes from the fact that he has excellent Echolocation skills and is a master in sound, instead of using his visual skills, he uses his auditory skills to avoid things *𝘈𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥* him, rather than what's Infront of him, using that knowledge to his advantage and dodging objects around him.

Also, Purple being the one to scheme such a devious plan is fitting. Like, 1- lulling into a false sense of security, 2-taking a looong time to build the plan over time, 3-having henchmen help you, and 4-showing something GRAND to deceive the eye when the real trick is at the end, waiting. (Kind of like the Parkour episode!)
Looks like a tiny part of his personality back from his evil past has survived 😂
I also like the fact that he is the closest friend for green, so maybe he has a better way to guess how to catch him off guard 😂

Green being the one who managed to evade the prank the longest lines up well because he's generally the most agile fighter, typically using both a sword and fishing rod/grapple hook combo.
In the first big fight sequence of the entire series, the cave spider swarm minecart fight, he goes absolute beast mode.
That fight is still so legendary, no matter how many times I rewatch it I still get amazed

I can see how Red and Purple bond will be like. Purple seeks attention or acknowledgement for his efforts, and Red always acknowledge things that helps him, so I could see that purple would feel comfy to hang out with red cuz he'd feel his knowledge and skills acknowledged, and I do think Purple will always try to impress Red, and as we know red, he's easily impressed. I love their chemistry so much. The fact that Red feels casual about visiting purple whenever he wants to, and purple being fine with it. AWWW(๑•ᴗ•๑)♡

We actually get a lot of implications here! 1. Purple has a treehouse. 2. Awakening potions seem to have strange effects on certain objects and mobs. 3. Green is a genius. 4. Purple is even more of a genius.

I love how Red doesn't even do his victory dance with Green like he did with the others. You'd think that would be the one he dances the hardest for, but no. Just a simple pat-pat like Green did to him was all that was needed. He knew he won. Green knew he won. Absolutely Beautiful.

Something I noticed is that green seems way more confident and level headed during the opening montage, effortlessly dodging and outsmarting everything red throws at him.
However during the setup for reds master plan, green is far more anxious and jumpy. It’s my belief/headcannon whatever that the opening montage is from reds own frustrated perspective. While in reality green is just barely slipping past everything with reflexes and dumb luck.

I like to think the reason green can evade all of that is because he's used to it in his whole life.
Like, he's the one who always getting hurt before for the silliest thing.
I can imagine green saying with every tap on Red shoulder like "Dude, life give me worse. Keep trying" Lol, and at the end "Yep, this is my life..."
I thought Green was like that because he hangs out with Red often(that’s why the two of them are the the combat types) their bond seems like rivals, and I thought Green just stick Red’s side to get used to Red’s antics, and before he knows it, He somehow knows Red’s every plan, but he also knows how scary red can be when he’s dedicated to something, that’s why he felt nervous during the ‘picnic’. He knows what’s up LMAO.

-Cats can be pretty playful & mischievous animals, and one way for people to be playful and/or mischievous is to subvert expectations & pull pranks, like Red has done once or twice.
-Meanwhile, Green not only has that 'anime senpai' type of charisma, but his skills and knowledge make it very easy for him to notice when something's off.
*So, in order to leave Green exposed for a prank, you HAVE to throw him for quite a loop of subversions beforehand!*
