- Forgotten for years, re-opened by us - 50km in 4 days!
Imagine being handed the keys to a track by the traditional owners, and being told "See if you blokes can make it through!". That's the challenge we're up against on this issue of 4WD Action, as we attempt to re-open the track from Coen to Stoney Creek on the Cape's wild east coast.
The traditional owners said that they hoped we packed plenty of recovery gear because it was going to get one heck of a workout! In fact, they weren't even sure that we'd make it to the coast at all - the track was that tough. To make things harder, Shauno's also towing a trailer with Ray's turbocharged 1000 cc buggy, because something tells us they're gonna need it!
If it's the toughest Cape York adventure that you want to see, on a track that hasn't ever been filmed, park yourself in your favourite chair and get the winch out, because things are about to get wild in true 4WD Action style!

Im from the states, and I like watching you guys more than most American channels. The dynamic this group has is really what makes these videos worth watching. Sure the trucks are awesome and so is the wheeling but the comedy and camaraderie take the cake. What a great group of guys!

Been to OZ twice and dream of going back on a real 4wd adventure! Love what you do mates! Btw. The DMAX looks so boring but f*** it seems to be capable... makes me want to buy one myself!! 🤙🍻
Just needs diff lockers on it. They're worth their weight in gold. And help prevent mechanical damage as you don't need to push the car as hard in tough situations.

Yes, but it has traction control which drives all 4 when reqd.

No, it supplies power to the wheels that have traction. If all 4 wheels have traction than all 4 wheels will have power.
@@foxxy2583 I believe the Dmax has switchable 4wd, runs In 2wd on the road. Therefore not driving all 4 wheels. I did say, drives all 4 when reqd.

No. It would drive all 4 wheels if it had lockers. It doesn't have lockers it has traction control, so it supplies power to whichever 4 wheels have traction, when in 4wd.
The Dmax didnt have lockers? I thought it had a rear locker.

Please keep these adventure videos coming! You guys are awesome and I appreciate the teaching in your videos for the novice 4wd owners and such. We see quite a bit of mud and rocks off-road over here in Houston Texas (US) so these tips helps mates even in a different country😎👍🏻 P.S...... Watching the land cruiser pull that side by side trailer was epic. Usually the trailer vehicle can't keep up, but he just powers through

I went there in 1998 with parents in Toyota Troopy , it was a lifetime opportunity to experience and explore Cape York and the Aboriginal elders greet us with an open heart ❤. I still remember till now and would love to visit again.

I've watched a number your video's this was awesome to watch as have all of the other and I'm into motorcycles. All involved in these video's do an amazing job to film and edit these trips. Graham, Shaun and all of the grew thank you for allowing these trips to be watched on you tube. May the call of the dusty track burn bright in your hearts and let no bog hole stand in your way.

I love mine aswell,,went wheelin with a Jeep once,,6 inch lift,,33 inch tyres,,mine was showroom standard down to the highway tyres,,and I got everywhere he did,,if he had 2 go's,,I had 3,,but I got there.

Guys, you are amazing! I am watch your videos and that make my days. I am dreaming to take an offroad adventure. Was glad to see triton, and of course the Dirty Thirty, old land cruiser is in my heart, so maybe I buy one if I get lucky, so need to change my 4wd to another, triton or 60 cruiser. Do not loose you power and mood guys, keep going and make video that push us to dream about adventures. Graham and Shauno wish tp have mates like you.

YYC Designz Custom RC Creations. Rephrase that with "NEW TOYOTA'S" LOL. My old LN solid axle Hilux hasn't skipped a beat yet, might not have the power but it's more reliable than the missus hahaha. 2nd owner and 500,000 on the clock. TOP GEAR couldn't kill the Hilux and they bloody tried hard too. Up the TOYOTA'S
