We depart Luxor for Edfu sailing along the Nile River on the beautiful SS Sudan steamship of Agatha Christie and Death on the Nile fame. We have a lovely evening on board enjoying a fabulous sunset on the Nile and then get up early and have breakfast before departing for the unbelievable Edfu Temple otherwise known as the Temple of Horus, dating back to about 100 BC. We return to the ship for lunch then have tea and snacks on the deck for the afternoon. Then, I take an incredible tour of the engine room for the steam ship while Judy catches some bikini time on the deck..
You guys really did a goos job on video, you renewed our excitment for this trip! We were to go in 2020 but i got sick with with covid... very bad deal. Anyway, im alive. We rebooked. Sept 2024. Diamond anniversary. We just hope the GEM is opened by then too!!!

Going this Sept, so excited. Aswan to Luxor, any tips?
What ship? Definitely avail yourself of all of the tours that you can take and for sure go to elephantine Island in aswan. Also, if you're not staying there then go over to the old cataract Hotel for a drink. And if possible try to make it down to abu simbel, and watch all our videos!

Cost of cruise? Number of days? Dinner food? Also , what a silly question - what do we do with the honey? Silly !
it was 4 nights i think. very pricey, dont recall the cost. meals were all fantastic.
