Do you know if that is the original paint? If it is I wouldn't paint it. Actually either way I wouldn't. The condition of the paint gives it character and sets it apart from others
That's a nice car, I might be able to buy a 69 XL for $750 in better condition than yours with the 390 V8. Only downside is it doesn't have a title but I know some ways around that lol
That sucks about the mice! I towed a 68 gto last summer cause the thing wouldn't start. There were mice running all over my truck. One jumped off the truck and fucked right off into the shop I towed it to. Guy with the shop is a dick anyway so I didn't feel to bad :)
It’s a C6 with a 3000 stall torque converter. I’m going to run the stock manifolds for now until I find a set of headers that fit. They don’t make them for this car but 70’s Torino headers should fit.
Keep the wheels. That's a good look. Maybe some baby moons? Keep the double pumper. That dual quad setup will be a headache to keep in tune.

Beautiful car--some clearcoat over that old paint would be cool IMHO...and that engine--what a beast!!!...that is a serious hunk of American iron.
