    Cole and Ethan were so interesting to listen to. Seeing the pasture with all the new growth is exciting and beautiful.     It is amazing to see the native plants and grasses coming back after a burn. These are the types of prairie plants that the bison evolved to thrive on for thousands of years. 💖💖💖

    All the different flowering plants are so amazing and to have it explained as the native Americans would have had it long ago. This pasture is going to be like candy for your bison. Such a great thing you did by burning. ❤

    💚 What y'all are doing there to regenerate the land by bringing in a knowledgeable proscribed burn team and creating the conditions to rejuvenate the soil with healthy microbes and fungal mycelium and fixing atmospheric nitrogen with the legumes is absolutely magnificent, as are the Bison! To see you all out there in the Burn Unit with all that diversity of plants, insects, pollinators and birds is truly bringing tears of Joy to my eyes and my Heart. Bless you, Bless you, Bless you! 💚

You showed glimpses over the winter. As a WA native of 5 generations, i know our PNW natives, not what is in your area. The little pollenators are fascinating too. Without them we would be hurting.     Over 30 years ago I questioned the burns in Oklahoma until it was explained to me an I witnessed the growth of beautiful grass thicker and healthier.

    Look at what the fire did to that ground. The return on that simple burn is AMAZING. Its amazing what a simple burn does for the land. You keep up with that plan, And your grandchildren will see the benefits from all your hard work. This is what mother nature did on her own, Long before man came along.

    I promised water to all my youtubers, Starting with Anchor Brand Ranch 15 months ago promise water to get them out of drought. Then did Wyoming, New Mexico, and last but not least Oklahoma. California just got in the way of getting water to Nevada.

    I just love seeing the new growth bringing back that natural ecosystem and the wonderful benefits to the land, and the wildlife. I really hope to see more and more people getting involved in these programs and helping to heal mother earth. The burn last October was an awesome set of videos and the learning from all these guys was so cool. Dusty, I have to give you and Marisa a big high five for everything that you do, also to all the people that came in to help and now to see the results of that burn.     Reminds me of my Grandfather's farm when I was a kid. He had a couple of dairy cows that he milked and my grandma would make butter for sale. The onions would grow wild in the pasture and the cows loved to eat them. Only problem was, it made the milk taste like onions. Thanks for bringing back an old memory. Love your enthusiasm for what you do with the bison, and appreciate you letting us share a portion of your life. Keep up the great work!

    Great video today! It was very informative and interesting to learn about all the different grasses.

    40 years ago my father in Australia was applying natural grasses, bugs, bees, etc plus soil bacterial diversity. Plus he used triple damning pig faeces which produced clear liquid. He sprayed Sorghum and his crops were 9 feet tall. Cattle feed ...

    The Great Plains routinely caught fire before it was settled so this makes sense. Vetch is a great nitrogen fixing ground cover. What an amazing comeback.

    In England I was brought up in the countryside and know yarrow, sorrel, wild garlic, vetch, red and white clover etc etc and knew they were good for animal grazing. The area mentioned in the video you called a “farrier ring” as a little girl in England we called a “fairy ring” imagining creatures marking areas for dancing and parties. Thank you for reminding me. All good stuff to learn.

    Rag weed is not a problem for people. Sneeze weed is. They bloom together. I love this podcast. Va Tech trained and surprised how many "weeds" are the same here in Virginia
