- Note, the light function is reversed now - when there is no magnet nearby, the light will be off. When a magnet passes by in the correct direction, the light will flash on one time.

Finally! Somebody films this step from a USEFUL angle!
Crystal clear explanation! Bravo!
I ride a two wheeled recumbent bike. I had to take the pivot off the sensor so it would fit on the frame and under the ring. I also hot glued the magnetic ring to the inside of the left crank arm too hold it in place. But, you guys don't seem to think about putting these on two wheeled recumbent bikes. I've a bit over 450 miles down and all is working just fine. Just wish you guys sold a 48 Volt 15 Amp battery.
You need to tighten the zip ties first before cutting the ends off
Do you have any tips on fastening the magnet ring more securely? On my Sun Baja trike it moves much too easily and has to be constantly readjusted to be the right distance from the sensor. My shoe apparently bumps it sometimes getting on or off the trike which makes the magnet ring wiggle as it rotates. It seems extremely fragile; it even completely popped apart yesterday when I bumped it harder than usual as I got onto the trike. When it works, it works great! But does not seem like a durable design.
Superglue or small wood screw.
Hi is this sensor works with all model controller with pedal assist or just certain controller?
so if the led is not working (not blinking nor steady) it means I have a connection problem, right?
Clear and concise, many thanks for sharing.
my led is off when the controller is on and blinks when i pedal forward. I had to redo the collection because my controller has blue red black wires and the wire needed to be much shorter to fit into the box. The problem is that the motor is not turning even though the led works. I have an M5 controller. The settings are set for both throttle and PAS. Throttle works fine. What could be the problem???
Thanks heaps for doing this video.
thank you very much, i upload a video with ebike installation and no idea what is this.
How about a Torque Sensor instead so we can climb hills. Cadence slows down on hills, or long inclines. Means slow assist if you are not usings a 1,000 watt motor with a throttle.
thankyou that was very helpful, especally the turn ``M`` PART ON,,,M,,,XXX
Doesn’t mention the one piece crank
Will this work on a Sun Trike? The pedal setup doesn’t look the same.
Yes this setup will work for a sun trike. The trike in this video is very similar to sun trike.
Where can I order a pedal assist sensor and the magnet s

What happens if you remove half of magnets between magnets could it expand speed limiter
No. You can change settings in LCD, no need to remove magnets.
@@electricbiketech basic cycle no screen settings
@@sachinms2772 ah so not our system. Couldn't tell you the result if you do that to yours.
Thanks man where can buy ??

good sharing.thanks
Why doesn't sensor flash when pedalling backwards?
Imagine pedaling backwards and thrusting forwards...
@@EBikeKit that's not what I mean obviously, how does the sensor ´know´ when pedalling backwards? but i guess off-topic here..
@@mathw2703 it senses the polarity and frequency.
@@EBikeKit ..that explains it..😭
Dear sir. Please pull your zip ties tighter next time.
with what motors (none shown) does PAS work? I did notice that no youtuber thought to show what PAS can hook up. Why is that? Are to assume something.? USEless without motor compatibility and hook up. useless.
All PAS Cadence Sensors should work with all E-bikes as long as the connectors are the same, even if the connectors aren't the same you can splice the cables and solder a connector that is compatible with your controller, all PAS sensors work the same except for Torque Sensors, if your controller is built for a Torque Sensor a Cadence Sensor will not work and vise versa
