Just replaced fuel lines in a few of my saws that all take the pigtail! They were all leaking where it goes into the tank. I probably could of pulled them up or down some and got more use but i like to do it right! See ya next time!

My very first 2 cycle project was my grandpas Poulan 2300 cva chainsaw. Yep I got burned on it, long story short I eventually discovered the badly scored piston & cylinder! I’d still like to have a nos top end for it!😂
Nice repair. I have a Husqvarna 350. Leaks bar oil out as fast as you pour it in. Was a great saw. What does the 45 on the cylinder head mean. ? Have a great day. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Hi Scott. A lot of your repairs seem to be stiff diaphragms and broken/dissolved fuel lines. What's your opinion on alkylat fuels? Here in Sweden most people run their saws on Aspen 2 instead of mixing their own with fuel from the gas station. Is it better or worse for the fuel lines and carbs?

Excellent post. Thanks for no loud annoying music. Excellent camera work and audio. Thanks!

Another "cheat" that you can use in a pinch is sealing it with a drop or two of super glue.

Thanks for the video!👍
Tks a million for your time and video 😊.
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
Excellent Repair Brother 😀😊😇👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks. Simple but effective.
Would like to see how you get the fuel line through the upper casing.
The fuel line needs to be cut at an angle so some of it easily pushes through. Then just grab that end and pull.
Thanks for sharing Scott!

Google: Thexton spark plug remover.

I have watched several of your videos. Do you tune the carb on the older saws you repair? I suspect some may get tuned on trying to get them to run.
The tuning you see on the bench is just to get it close. I tune them all in a log afterwards.

Never gave it much thought but it might be bore size.
👍🏻
Good find, easier to repair. Think it was from ethanol fuel? Hope ya feel better.
No, I don't think it was from ethanol. It was just an old line that cracked at a hard bend coming out of the tank.

It seems to be better but there isn't any proof behind that statement. Just my gut feeling from observations.
How much does it cost to have a chainsaw repaired like this?
Everybody has a different hourly rate but we would have probably charged 20 minutes, maybe half an hour(don't remember the exact repair) plus parts.
🔥😁
Hey! You said schmutz without putting it up on the screen!
I noticed that too after editing was done and thought nobody would notice. I was wrong 🙂
OK, Scot; what movie freature character would describe your repair as; "Dat be ET"? Show your age by knowing.
Dunno. I must be young :-)
