See how these PRS guitars get their start as various kinds of wood slowly take shape into the neck, fingerboard, and that ever-infamous PRS headstock. Always wondered how PRS makes those intricate bird inlays? Some of which are hollow, and others which are 3 piece birds. Mark then plugs in to one of the new PRS amps to do a little bit of jamming at the factory with Eric Friedman! Let the factory experts explain to you how PRS does their book-matching for the tops, as well as the concept of a 1-piece top. Mark even does a bit of an Alter Bridge teaser for all of you as he digs up an old friend of a riff to play on one of the new PRS acoustic guitars!

Billy McMonagle I met him earlier this month and he was such an awesome dude. Stayed for every fan and autographed everything. He’s seriously a huge inspiration both musically and as a person.
Imagine going to pick up your guitar, and PRS is like, "Oh, by the way, Mark Tremonti played your guitar the other day. Is that cool?" lol.
I just bought a Korean Tremonti it’s my first guitar but after playing everything in the store it was an easy choice that I am extremely happy with every time I play it ❤️
This why PRS is giving Gibson a run on quality, stability, playability. I've never heard a PRS 'ping' when you tune it. And the new V12 finish is just amazing. Don't get me wrong, I love my Gibsons, but PRS is just drop dead gorgeous, they just ooze tone.
Eh the first thing that comes to mind when you say “ping” is a cheap nut, and I’ve heard a lot of pings on the cheap nuts that come on the SEs especially. First thing I did to my Holcomb was swap the nut. Sure American PRS don’t use cheap nuts but neither do Gibson.
I have a PRS SE guitar Tremonti signature single cut, Charcoal burst color. Is an excellent guitar. I'm so glad when I play this "Poem from six strings"! 😊🎸🏆🎖️

One of the best videos I've seen. What is better than a factory tour at PRS...when it's with Mark Tremonti and his band (and his wife, who looked kind of bored - guess guitars not for everybody! :P )
hahah 7:51 just reminds me (and pretty much every guitarist ever) when I go to andertons and take the missus. I am thre for ages playing, and the missus in the background with arms crossed thinking: "Glad someone's having fun!" :D haha

You can tell Tremonti ispassionate about music and not all the fame crap that alot of artists care about these days! PRS guitars are second to none

While I was completing the purchase of my new Tremonti model at this years Signature Club Event, Mark and crew walked onto the sales floor and I was lucky enough to meet him and get his autograph on the back of the head stock of my new guitar. I noticed that there was a cameraman filming this chance encounter and would love to know if there is anyway I can get a copy of the video?

unfortunately, I can relate his situation to mine, I live in an area where people all keep a some kind of tradition of listening to only one kind of music to keep them feeling unique, I'm talking about my religion but I ain't gonna mention it's name at the moment.
but we rarely see rockers with some true taste of music like this.

Ok, first of all, I never listen to the radio, I have a playlist on spotify for alter bridge with all their songs and I enjoy them all. Secondly alter bridge is not my favorite band. It's a damn good group and is easily in my top 5 bands that I enjoy listening to lately. Other then that what makes you think I only enjoy 3 out of 40something great songs?

Tremonti actually uses basic stock guitars othe than the birds on the frets and the 12th fret reading "tremonti" you can go buy those in most guitar stores

Spalted maple is basically rotted maple, almost to the point of unusable that’s why he said they have to soak it in super glue or it would crumble.

Tremonti was released independently and Alter Bridge bought out their deal with the big companies to make the music the way they wanted it. dont call them commercial because any of them will tell you that they are the opposite.
