@@eliasricano7170 Absolutely! I’ve never played a better guitar in that price range yet. It’s still hard to find pricey ones that feel as high quality.

I've had a 2016 Mark Holcomb SE for a couple of years, sold it ~3 months ago. I've missed ever since. Tomorrow a 2022 Mark Holcomb SE will arrive at my door :)
Had a lefty 30th anniversary custom 24 and had to sell it before I emigrated. Biggest guitar regret of my life. Yep, the dream is to own a private stock guitar 🤘🤤🤘🎸
I’m a Fender guy through and through, but there’s no denying that PRS deserves every single bit of fame that they’ve got.

@@avrahamorsini178 The Silver Sky is great. I prefer the neck of the SE Silver Sky, but they're both amazing guitars.
Here is a fact. Go to any big store. Pick up 20 new high end 3k plus fenders. 20 high end. Gibson All of them will need to be set up.intonation. Fret work. Etc. All of them. Pick any priced. Prs all play rite. Intonation all good.
I’m a Gibson and Heritage guy but yeah PRS is a great quality guitar, I love the bird but don’t really care much for the designs

Paul doesn't show attention to detail; he shows fanaticism to detail, and that's what I want from a guitar maker.
If I ever hit the lottery after calling my family and telling them the good news. My next call would be to PRS private stock. I will definitely watch this video again.

Can you even imagine going to the PRS factory to pick out your woods and have a hands on experience in building your very on PRS private stock?? For everyone that has this desire I hope it comes true.... remember, it all starts with an idea, an image or imagination in your mind.
Honestly pretty daunting. I would rather just say what I imagine and have the specialists decide what is required for that. I can't choose that kind of stuff myself.

This is more personal to me, but what is cool is that once I finally can afford a private stock, I will get to go home and pick out my own woods. I grew up 45 mins from the factory so it means a trip home to visit family and also pick out the woods I want.
I prefer when the guitar center employee personally hands me my squire form the bottom shelf

Exactly what i was thinking!!! I always love when company CEO's owners or managers get involved in the productions process, really keeps everything in check, and quality is always top of the scale. i'd love to work for PRS one day...I wish :D

i still experience a joy when I play mine. I own a PRS 513 and a PRS Semi-Hollowbody. No matter how tired I am, the joy is always there. Thank you for a dream come true. However, If I can have one more dream it is to have a Private Stock Semi-Hollowbody built before I leave the land of the living. Please, keep up the excellent work. Stay alive. God Bless You...

I've had guitars that costed 5 times more. You can have them all, just don't touch my S.E. custom. It's the best guitar I've owned, and after 4 decades of playing, l believe that makes me an expert. It's going to be a S.E. until a can get a private stock. End of story.....
Got a used SE Standard and everything about it feels and looks better than my Fender strat. Granted it's not a high end Fender but still... I can't wrap head around how they can make something feel and look so good for that price. My mind, body, and soul would probably explode if I ever got to play a private stock!
I just got an SE Custom 22 semi-hollow and it plays better than anything in its price range.

I recently bought my first PRS after playing for 25 years, an Indonesian 35th Anniversary SE. It is a stunning instrument all around at one of PRS' lowest price points. I can't imagine how exquisite these PS guitars are. Amazing
Made in Indonesia has the best wood in the world also it really well made.
I bought a 30th Anniversary SE and every time I go back to it, the playability and sound just continues to amaze me.
This is why PRS is one of the best guitar manufacturers in the industry. Attention to detail and exceeds expectations set by their customers and themselves.
I have owned two Cores and I just bought a Wood Library. The difference in fit and finish between these two levels blew my mind. I can only imagine how amazing a Private Stock must be!

PRS Guitars is the most honest guitar company, (if not the most honest company) in the world. Paul does things himself, he checks things, and he makes things fair. such a nice guy.

I was lucky enough to snag up a 2003 Custom 22 Artist in Blue Matteo from a collector who was liquidating his collection. I got it for a STEAL!! It was basically brand new, still had the factory strings on it. It is the single most inspiring and magnificent guitar I have ever held in my hands. I can only imagine how these Private Stock guitars play and feel! Maybe some day........

very well documented procedure. I have 4 PRS guitars. I love each one. They are awesome to hold and play. They just sound amazing. Great Guitar! I met Paul a few years ago in Tacoma Washington. A humble man. Purchased another guitar there on the spot!
My favorite part of this is that my S2 is an amazing instrument. It plays and stays in tune perfectly. What’s amazing is that the lessons learned from private stock craftsmanship is being passed down to the lowest cost guitars and it shows. Thank you for doing what you do!

I am working with Brian's Guitars to have one of these built at the moment, its truly a once in a lifetime experience for me. I am selling off most of my guitars to fund this, and the guitar will combine all my favorite features of the guitars I have owned into one guitar. Cant wait!

I've never heard of PRS until I lifted one of your guitars off a stand here in Cape Town South Africa, that was a week ago...(yes I know, I know,,,) learning about the company and the passion of Paul and his team, and their workmanship has been so inspiring. This video captured the passion of each guitar maker, it's made me literally emotional... my son study and work very hard to become an excellent guitarist, my job will be to look for the best guitar at any price .... that's the dream... I will stand in this workshop someday in the next 10 years. that the dream. !! it's on record now... :)

As for me, the real art are the fretboard designs and inlays. Even the ones that are way over the top for my taste are still incredible to look at.

Man... oh man! I consider myself to be an all-around type of guy when it comes to guitars, all guitars were equal to me (I, until this very day feel like a child the Christmas morning whenever I see a guitar no matter what brand) I swear... but THEN! enter PRS! man you've ruined other people's (brands) game, at least in my eyes. The level of detail, passion, craftsmanship, and your approach to guitars in general, is beyond what I can put into words (and you also have the sound/tone to back up all the other things haha...) I am truly enamored of your beautiful instruments, what you have done and continue to do as a company is just unbelievable... well done PRS people, well done!

PRS just hit it out of the park when it comes to design. The Silver Sky Lunar Ice is one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen (yes I'm fully aware the body is a strat copy) but the finish and detailing is exquisite.
Jaw dropping guitars and made even more awesome knowing the main man himself gives it the final play test, that in itself is priceless. Now the hope for a se private stock range!!
The absolute beauty of the wood specimens used is incredible! Add to that a team that devotes itself to the love of guitar an it is no wonder why the private stock guitars sound just as beautiful as they look.

Just bought the prs sa, Paul guitar and love it. The sa being the entry level guitar the quality is still so amazing, just beautiful wood work, and the abalone birds in the rosewood neck just put the instrument on fire. Ty for making an affordable masterpiece, I will play it for my days and pass it down to my sons.

I'm a huge music lover, and what probably still considered a beginner at guitars. I love this concept and im sure its well outside my pocket range but some day I will come calling you guys to build my guitar to capture my vision for a guitar that shows my 20 years in the military! I completely respect people that master their art and take put the effort in everything they build.
I'm on the hunt for a PRS guitar now, walking in a guitar shop I've noticed the feel in quality between PRS and other brands and it just feels so refined and perfect.

the best thing in my opinion is listening to Paul talk about the guitars that come out of his factory its like no other owner i have ever heard, he talks from his heart, he loves his product ,his employees , he is a normal man like you and me and that is hard to find today

Being honest, since I live in latin america, I don't think I will be able to make my own, but it will always be my dream to have a PRS private stock, have my piece of this history, of these dreamers, of these artists, of these people, it almost brings tears to my eyes the level of passion seen here, the work to make something you love, something you respect, and something that someone will cherish as much as you do to the best of your abilities, I really hope that these dreams persist, because they are ours too, so thank you for doing this, and so, until I can see my McCarty 594 Private Stock, I will be seeing your passion being made into history, until I can make my own dream into reality because of you, thanks for the inspiration, always.

5:17 is one of the most beautiful designs I've seen on a fret/head.

Ditto. My local store is well stocked with low- and high-end PRS guitars and they are very consistent across the board; the necks are supremely made.
Another maker whose necks are consistently impeccable is Tom Anderson (plus the truly boutique small shops). Neck workmanship is what separates the best from the rest.

I had a killer idea for a guitar. I know I’ll never be able to afford a real prs but anyway here go. A Paul’s guitar with the 5 way “rotary” switch with the fret markers a shrunken down version of each of the dragons as fret board markers. Probably too ridiculous but just a dream guitar i had. Thanks anyway Paul for making the best guitars.
I have made pretty much all my guitars I own. I love my guitars because they play perfectly and are exactly what I wanted. BUT, I own the perfect guitar, a 2008 PRS DGT. PRS guitars are truly perfect playability guitars. Best company.

I clearly Know that i will be never able to purchase such a kind of instruments , but as a Kid in a Toy Shop i was able to delight My Eyes with these incredible creations.. i was mesmerized about how beautifull pieces of art can be created by Man...

They are so beautiful. Calling private stock art sums it perfectly. I feel like it's justified to call private stock a unique thing. For a production level company to do fully customized art items enables a lot of possibilities.

If I had (or ever have) the money, PRS Private Stock would be its destination, no question. No other leading brand would be up for consideration. Paul, you are Leo Fender to the power of 10.....and then some. I'll always treasure my 1994 Custom 22 which I've now owned for 22 years. It's my 'forever' guitar and my children will have to squabble about who gets it, after I pass on. Great video! Please keep them coming.

PRS makes some of the most beautiful guitars.
I came across one of those scenarios that I have pipe dreams about. A coworker was needing cash quick and the most valuable thing he owned was a PRS Private Stock acoustic. I said sure, I will take a look at it. It was the Alex Lifeson model. I was stunned. I ended up with it for an amount that was almost criminal. I believe he paid somewhere near $10k and I got it for....much less. But hell, he needed it and I didn't want it, but when the price got so low that I couldn't say no. It's something special for sure.
I own a PRS Custom 24 10 top in faded whale blue. Not a private stock, but it immediately became my top guitar out of 15 guitars, because not only is it absolutely beautiful, but it plays phenomenally. I can play for hours and hours and never get tired of it. In my opinion, PRS is by far the most innovative guitar company in the world. Craftsmanship and attention to detail is their specialty. You can use the hell out of the tremolo without it going out of tune at all. The pickups are phenomenal. Overall it has all the qualities of many of the top guitar companies combined and more
There's already a private stock out there that's my dream guitar. I found it online and I go back to look at it every couple of months. I'll be devastated when it eventually sells. 😅😂😂🤷 Absolutely stellar craftsmanship I gotta say.
I own 4 PRS guitars- McCarty 594 in McCarty Sunburst, Silver Sky in Frost, SE Hollowbody 11 in Tri Color Burst and a DGT in McCarty Tobacco Sunburst. Love them all! IMO , PRS is the best high quality guitars built you will ever find!
