I feel like the Tropical Wyvern would be amongst the top 2 if it could just swim. It always annoys me knowing that it gets the hydration buff but can't touch water deeper than 6 ft due to the bugginess of flying tames and water "walk-to-swim hitboxes"
Its damage is the lower tier regardless though do idk if it would really push it to 2nd, regardless imo blood would still be nr1 and lightning 2nd. And the fact wyverns don't have optional saddle would mean it gets wrecked by bigger sea creatures, or at least severely injured
This! I don't even really want it to swim, I just want it to not be dismounted when your toes touch the water. If tropical wyverns treated the water like the ground, like the pelagornis, that would be great.
@@piratekit3941 as much as I would love to completely agree with you, since tropical wyverns are based off of the original three (game mechanic wise) it's cheaper for the developers sake to keep them where they are. I completely get where you're coming from tho
@@mr.hollywood552 With Ark on it's last updates as Ark2 is underway, I don't think we'll ever get the changes we deserve to so many dinos, but I'm sure they could have done it if they cared to code it in... but I also expect WC to not think about unique things like this which would make an existing model so much more complicated to code.
well theres a TLC that needs to come to the game, buff older wyverns so they have more unique roles and improve using them. for example, ice wyvern to be able to freeze or so for example have breath attack that leaves a frost cloud on ground or wherever that slows everything inside it for a period of time. add aiming like mana to all wyverns. add scaling to all breath attacks and DOT effects so those with them are more useful. maybe make fire and ember different, fire could still have breath but make ember shoot fast velocity fireballs or something? just thoughts on stuff to make wyverns more enjoyable.
If they do a wyvern TLC they need to give the voidwyrm some PVE abilities. It makes sense that the breath attack would knock things out, as the lighting wyvern does torpor to it's targets, but it does so much damage it's unusable for taming, the voidwyrm also shoots electricity, just at far, far far faaaaar lower damage, it's more like a static wyvern
@@janvandenhooren9397 As a PvE player, the breath isn't very helpful when you have the tek suit which allow you to keep up with the tranq mission dinos etc and the way it is aimed for destroying buildings is useless in PvE, due to inability to hurt enemy structures or dinos. Should do higher damage against dinos personally. For me it's deffo my lowest ranked wyvern
Amber and fire are slightly different, I am not sure which one is which, but one has longer range, the other one has wider range, but yes, there could be a bit more difference
I wish the breath attacks could get color mutations like imagine some guy flys upto you with a fire wyvern and your like “oh that’s cool seen that before..nice black color tho” then they just use the breath attack and all you see is a wave if purple flames and alo you can think is “ NIGHTFURY”

The poison wyvern is severely underrated. It just takes practice with the aim. Also, wearing the right gear as mentioned in the video. I personally have taken down lightnings with a poison. Not to mention you can hit a player past the tame with a poison.
The lightning wyvern with it's purples and electrified breath is the reason I bought Ark and started on Scorched Earth. (Talk about the moat difficult place the live before they nerfed it, lol!) The Lightning is the one I feared most heading into the wyvern trench both pre and post fast flyer nerf. Thank you for another great video.
When scorched earth came out me and 2 buddies formed a 3 person tribe, and raided the wyvern trench relatively early since flyer speed made it super easy. We got 3 high level eggs, 2 fire 1 lightning. They both chose fire since they thought it looked cooler, which worked out great for me cause lightning was by far the best lol.
Honestly I would love to play with you guys cause I can’t find nobody to play with these days and even if they want to their set up can’t handle the game
I'm on team Lightning for sure. Wyverns have become such an integral part of the game, I'd go as far as to say that they're the only non-prehistoric creatures I really love. I only hope we get to see more variants in the future, there certainly is potential for more, and one can never have too many wyverns.
It would be cool if they gave the voidwyrm some barrel roll attack similar to the Pteranodon, they could’ve used that animation on the taming for new moves
Gotta say the ice wyvern is massively underrated, in any kind of mob scenario (multiple allies) you can easily perma-slow and just melt things with no chance of them killing you

I was on ark before they had kibble. Official PVP, tamed two lvl 80+ ankys. With berries. Built a hut around them, slept, with alarms every hour on the hour to wake up and narco them. One had a hidden melee boost that helped us become the alpha tribe through sheer harvesting power. Buuuuut that's when I started realizing it was taking way too much of my life lol. Now it's just single player so I can walk away for a month and come back and never be raided
All of them kill titans pretty easy. But poison, lightning and blood crystal (in the same order) are def the best for giga killing. Poison has the best range, lightning has good range too, blood is a bit wonky since the attack area of effect seems smaller than the blood stream but actually reaches further than fire or ember, but the stream takes time to travel unlike lightning, but also it heals if it gets hurt for having to get closer
The lightning wyvern is the undisputed goat. Although, I do have 5 of these things at my base, they have not proved to be very helpful other than taking down titans. However, I do think that their main attack drains more stamina than needed. That being said, I think that the fire wyvern deserves a better spot p.
Lightning wyvern is now kinda bad due to nets being a thing, and if you get netted while breathing you get killed by your own lightning wyverns breath projectile
I agree with this but ice wyvern is just my fav in my opinion slowing down enemies is very useful but like you said snow owls could do it better but I also likes its looks. absolutely epic!
Ice wyverns are just bosses when they fight other flyers including other wyverns, the slowing attack could be spammed and you will never get out of this slow effect , it takes 10 seconds to finish and opponents could just hit you again and reset the timer ,they are good in pvp at least better than fire ones , and in the wild when you steal their egg on val YOU WILL NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME if they hit you once , I had a level 430+ level girffing ( the max on my cluster is 300 ) and it had over 20k HP and it almost died in a minute and I quickly jumped and took the rest to put him in a cryopod
You guys did the ember wyvern dirty, it may not have the base damage of the fire wyvern, but it has advantages that can certainly make up for it. The fact that it's a passive tame just like the other crystal wyverns is already a great reason to tame them, giving them a massive level boost compared to a raised wyvern, though admittedly they are rare, sometimes making it difficult to find one, let alone a high level, but you can also steal eggs from the wyvern trench in the desert. On top of that, crystal wyvern heirs spawn above even the wyvern level cap, at a max level of 225, putting a max level egg just above a 150 perfect tame
Unless after you kill them and they have their lightning wyvern set to aggressive with their special abilities enabled. Then you have a riderless lightning wyvern on your tail lol. But yes definitely a good counter still
I just want to say thank you for your videos. You have helped myself and my best friend who are still pretty new to Ark become pretty good players of the game. We've only started playing recently and have really enjoyed the game. Your videos have been very informative and I am in the process of raising a baby lightning Wyvern but its only level 90. I just got a fire Wyvern egg level 150 last night. Of course we are playing on Ark Offical PVE servers but even with the lag we are really enjoying the game 😊
I played Ark mostly in single player and I will say my first wyvern was the tropical in crystal isles, its not as easy as it sounds in terms of taming but it is fun, I sort of wish the hydration buff is spread around more. Maybe make hte tropical wyvern that treats water as solid ground like the only amphibian animal that regains stamina while swimming. Though I think the water buff should be common, I mean I feel great whenever I chuck down some refreshign water.
Design wise Voidwyrm is my favorite, however I agree lightning is the best overall. I actually had no clue the ember does more damage with it's breath the more you use it, so I learned something new as well. Also I just thought I'd mention a suggestion for a video. Since you covered the mod map Fjordur a lot it would be awesome if you also maybe did videos on modded creatures, such as the ones from Ark Additions. All creatures from that mod are such high quality as if Wildcard themselves made it, and they're all very unique both in taming and abilities. It would be cool to see your take on them, like a taming guide of just thoughts on them. :D And as always cheers for yet another very well done video, you're doing awesome mate!
I feel like the best Wyvern are the crystal ones being a smaller Wyvern with similar strength to it's more bulky relatives while being both faster and more maneuverable than them, with how good the Blood Crystal Wyvern is at staying alive being able to heal from range and from corpses while still packing a decent punch it should've at least had 2nd place if not 1st as I do like the Lightning Wyvern as well and I see why it got 1st place here
Yea i would def place blood 1st and lightning 2nd since iy can be bred and heal. I kept killing all wyverns in the desert hive to have alphas spawn to get the 5 talons and i had full health pretty much the entire time because i got the health back from killing the same wyverns that damaged me in the first place. It also has surprising range i noticed, just it takes time to travel unlike lightning which makes hitting targets far harder. That and the fact the area of effect is thinner than the blood stream visuals, but seems to be barely longer than the blood stream. Meaning you can damage stuff slightly out of the visual reach, but can also miss even though it looked like a hit because of the thinner area of effect compared to the visuals
Poison Wyvern is ridiculously underrated. It's easily one of the best wyvern head design and literally the only long-range wyvern of them all. The breath damage is also insane so with a little bit of practice you can snipe out most enemies from a safe distance without even fighting them. All in all, while it's not the best it's should be def at least in the top 3.
it was my first wyvern i ever earned, lost so many creatures in the process and almost quit my scorched earth save... the Poison wyvern has a very special place in my heart and i will always choose it over any other wyvern if given the chance
Poison wyverns are a LOT more devastating than people give them credit for. Even with gas masks as they can easily shred through the durability of a low level gas mask. I’ve never picked people off the back of other tames so easily in my life with the breath attack. However, they definitely don’t look as cool as the other wyvern variants unless they have really rare colors.
I think the ice wyvern looks the coolest but lightning is definitely the most fun to use in my opinion but crystal wyverns I like the blood more 😂😂😂 I used 20 lightnings against the 3 titans and they wrecked face😜
I’m team poison and shocked it’s lower then the fire wyvern especially since tropical are just better fires. Plus poisons are great with synergizing with lightnings.
I didnt catch the scrolling words at all, but otherwise good video. I'm surprised that the ember is so low. It looks cool, the increasing attack is great against alphas and its an easy tame.... if you can find one and not die in the process. Came across an alpha blood wyvern myself right when I found an ember xD

Fire wyverns are good and all but I'm going to have to go with my favorite as a lightning wyvern or a tropical Crystal wyvern back when I was playing on the crystal Isles I used to farm a bunch of crystals and tame Some Crystal wyverns I even had a pen or should I say a farm for them because it was so much wyverns that I love taming them with crystals and it was pretty cool although tropical wyverns are pretty cool I'm going to have to say I like the lightning wyverns more because they do allot more damage
Hey Raas great video! You forgot to mention map limitations, like (according to the wiki) the crystal isle wyverns can't be brought to other maps like Genesis 2 without Admin commands. Keep up the good work!
Let's be honest, we're not surprised that the lightning wyvern is number 1 lol. Though I wish they make it have a pupil and doesn't face downwards when looking at you...
*My personal List* *(pvp)* 1: Lightning Wyvern - Shreds tames with good range 2: Poison - Great base defense and can be used to snipe enemy fobs or even kill enemies off of their tames. Just not as easy to use or devastating as lightning. 3: Blood- Debatable choice of best crystal wyvern but due to its blood link thing which makes it extremely easy to kill people on foot I put it here. 4: Tropical- Kind of bias but I hate tropical due to the fact they can use their water boost to escape almost anyone and boost their stamina reduction during fights. 5: Fire- Slightly better than ember wyvern but not exceptionally good in pvp. 6: Ember- Similar to fire wyvern it is not exceptionally good in pvp but is good at killing tames once the rider is dead. 7: Ice- Nobody rides ice 8: Tek- Haven’t seen enough people pvp on it that I can’t say where it will be.
Nice Video… in order to find voidwurms easy you best concentrate on one side of the lunar biom top of the map or on the bottom end, and whipe the dolphins. For me i found out thats the best way to find them. Good luck all

Honestly I love the wyverns. But my fav is the tropical crystal wyvern. First off, the colors are awesome but I love that it's super fast and gets even faster after touching the water. That and I love it's breath attack
The poison wyverns breath attack could also sometimes get into a part of a base if you hit the ground. I accidentally killed one of my tribe members years ago by hitting the wrong button 😅
I Haven't Seen Anyone Else Comment This But The Lightning Wyvern Can Also Basically Destroy Weapons, Such As The Longneck, Shotguns, Most Weapons Besides Tek, If Your Character Is Hit Enough With The Beam Attack While Holding Say A Longneck, It Has A Shock Like EMP Affect, Rendering The Rifle Not Able to Fire
People overlook Ice wyvern because most of the time we play alone. If you go hunt alphas with friends and dont have uber rexes or gigas, this wyvern breath is in fact doubling your team dps due to slow the target.
I have this idea for the ice wyvern where if you hold the breath attack button it would give you a effect saying "ready to shoot" and release it to spit out a ball of ice that explodes on impact and everything in its radius will freeze for a few seconds. Then just the normal breath attack useing the same button just not hold it down. (To use the ice ball your ice wyven needs to drink water like that modded dino that basically do the same thing)
I like the void wyverns looks amazing and its is OP in pvp in my opinion. I fought somebody once with a mana and got reached in seconds from the void wrm (no not because i am trash lol) and the fact that it can damage all structures just makes it 10 times better for wipes and stuff idk

I love the look of the poison wyvern, it's one of my favorites, but I HATE using one. Low stam + a breath attack that has a very exact targeting need = frustration of missing all the time then running out of stam. Plus this thing has knocked me out a few times having accidently flown through the poison clouds when in the frenzy of trying to tame / kill something so it's just a big pain.
Ngl, my favorite part about the crystal wyverns is that they glow a little, and that glow affect changes if you change their colors via commands or breeding
Fantastic video! The usefulness of the wyvern depends on what you need it for. Want to kill players? (Especially off their mounts) Poison. Want to kill tames? Lightning Want to destroy bases? Voidwyrm Want to endure prolonged battles? Blood. Want to stagger your enemy and make them vulnerable? Tropical. Need Wyvern Milk? Alphas. (Even males apparently) Want the extra manoeuvrability? Crystal or Zombie variants (EDIT) Need to tame Phoenix? Fire & Ember Need An Extra Hand With Forest Titan? Forest. All have their niche :)

Poisons severely underrated, I remember starting out Ark with friends who had 1000+ hours in the game and i had maybe 5/6 hours they decided i wasnt able to use Fire or Lightning so Poison was my mount… 4000 hours later i can safely say its still my mount of choice 😂
I for surely get that the lightning wyvern is on top but i personaly think the blood, void and tropical wyverns are better i mean - void wyvern OP in pvp ( i know for some people he is pretty hard to get) - blood wyvern tanky as hell - tropical pretty good for pvp but amazing to go arount the map and easy to get Lightning is pretty good but just to popular a lot of other wyverns are just as good in my opinion you just need to know how and when to use them And to finish this of i just wanne say amazing video man and keep up the good work👍
I honestly was kinda surprised that the lightning wyvern won even it is my favourite screw the void wyrm it should be called a tek wyvern a wyrm is a creature with no limbs a wyvern is a creature with no arms and with two legs and two wings a dragon is a creature with arms legs and wings the void wyrm is just a wyvern Also the drake is a creature with 4 limbs no wings
Wyrm is just another name for the species of flying reptiles in general. A wurm is what you're thinking of, where it has no legs. Normally its referred to as a Lindwurm
@@skiddybopmmmdada9534 from what I know, and the little searching I did, wyrms are flightless and limbless dragons, whereas wurm is basically synonymous but can also be really big snakes, like Jormungandr from GoW4.
Team Poison here, though more for the visual design. The lightning head just looks so derpy though has the best tail, the poison has the best wings and head designs, as well as better colour regions especially on the wings.
I've only really messed around with the lightning wyvern because I'm a new player and I found a lvl 175 egg. Got to say, thing is super strong . That lightning attack is devastating, insanely quick and accurate. I found out the hard way that jumping off of the wyvern before the attack is fully finished will end with me being instantly killed by my own wyvern lol
the lighting wyvern is just op, I've got an imprinted one which has 20k health and deals 472hp for its lightning attack and 1.6k damage on its bite attack, it gets rid of deathworms in less than 30seconds
I think it would be lightning poison blood top 3 blood is super-effective for PVE laudanum poison can be very effective if you're riding it the void worm is not that effective only for PVP where that's even debatable because I have killed one with a lightning wyvern before he even got the shot off and they're not that good for Boss Battles so that sucks the extra levels is nice but the difficulty it is to tame is absurd in my opinion of course Everyone's entitled to their own thing good video have a good one
Poison Wyverns are my favorite. It took practice to get accurate with their poison fog blast, but it's like an atom bomb. In upper levels I think they are also physically stronger then the others too.
Im quite surprised Ember wyverns are so low on the list definitely one of my favorites to get right after a tropical since you can steal their eggs quite easily
Far easier just to tame than to steal an egg. Only found few high lvl eggs, a ton of high lvl wyverns flying about. Riding a baryonyx + a crossbow = easy low level wyvern knock outs for primal crystal

Lightning was my first raise and I got 100% imprint. I fell asleep while taming a wild giga and it ate us both lol, miss the good old days of Ark
I was on ark before they had kibble. Official PVP, tamed two lvl 80+ ankys.
With berries.
Built a hut around them, slept, with alarms every hour on the hour to wake up and narco them.
One had a hidden melee boost that helped us become the alpha tribe through sheer harvesting power.
Buuuuut that's when I started realizing it was taking way too much of my life lol. Now it's just single player so I can walk away for a month and come back and never be raided
The voidwyrm should have Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Poison and be able to change between them. I hope someone makes a mod like this!

I prefer poisons for titan killing you don't have to get so close and the damage is still pretty great.
All of them kill titans pretty easy. But poison, lightning and blood crystal (in the same order) are def the best for giga killing. Poison has the best range, lightning has good range too, blood is a bit wonky since the attack area of effect seems smaller than the blood stream but actually reaches further than fire or ember, but the stream takes time to travel unlike lightning, but also it heals if it gets hurt for having to get closer

The lightning wyvern is the undisputed goat. Although, I do have 5 of these things at my base, they have not proved to be very helpful other than taking down titans. However, I do think that their main attack drains more stamina than needed. That being said, I think that the fire wyvern deserves a better spot p.
Lightning wyvern is now kinda bad due to nets being a thing, and if you get netted while breathing you get killed by your own lightning wyverns breath projectile

The poison wyvern is easily very low on any pve players list due to the mutated poison wyvern not bringing as much to the table as even the ice wyvern
The ice wyvern is the only one to slow enemy wyverns (to my knowledge) making it the easiest to kill/knock wild wyverns when paired with tribe mates
I agree with this but ice wyvern is just my fav in my opinion slowing down enemies is very useful but like you said snow owls could do it better but I also likes its looks. absolutely epic!
Ice wyverns are just bosses when they fight other flyers including other wyverns, the slowing attack could be spammed and you will never get out of this slow effect , it takes 10 seconds to finish and opponents could just hit you again and reset the timer ,they are good in pvp at least better than fire ones , and in the wild when you steal their egg on val YOU WILL NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME if they hit you once , I had a level 430+ level girffing ( the max on my cluster is 300 ) and it had over 20k HP and it almost died in a minute and I quickly jumped and took the rest to put him in a cryopod
they're pretty nice on unofficials where wyvern health isn't mutated much, you can slow them then start killing them w/ a pump or a comp

You guys did the ember wyvern dirty, it may not have the base damage of the fire wyvern, but it has advantages that can certainly make up for it. The fact that it's a passive tame just like the other crystal wyverns is already a great reason to tame them, giving them a massive level boost compared to a raised wyvern, though admittedly they are rare, sometimes making it difficult to find one, let alone a high level, but you can also steal eggs from the wyvern trench in the desert. On top of that, crystal wyvern heirs spawn above even the wyvern level cap, at a max level of 225, putting a max level egg just above a 150 perfect tame

From every crystal wiverns i'd choose blood wyverns. They can dmg the enemy while healing, that's enough for me

Unless after you kill them and they have their lightning wyvern set to aggressive with their special abilities enabled. Then you have a riderless lightning wyvern on your tail lol. But yes definitely a good counter still
I just want to say thank you for your videos. You have helped myself and my best friend who are still pretty new to Ark become pretty good players of the game. We've only started playing recently and have really enjoyed the game. Your videos have been very informative and I am in the process of raising a baby lightning Wyvern but its only level 90. I just got a fire Wyvern egg level 150 last night. Of course we are playing on Ark Offical PVE servers but even with the lag we are really enjoying the game 😊

I played Ark mostly in single player and I will say my first wyvern was the tropical in crystal isles, its not as easy as it sounds in terms of taming but it is fun, I sort of wish the hydration buff is spread around more. Maybe make hte tropical wyvern that treats water as solid ground like the only amphibian animal that regains stamina while swimming.
Though I think the water buff should be common, I mean I feel great whenever I chuck down some refreshign water.
Design wise Voidwyrm is my favorite, however I agree lightning is the best overall. I actually had no clue the ember does more damage with it's breath the more you use it, so I learned something new as well. Also I just thought I'd mention a suggestion for a video. Since you covered the mod map Fjordur a lot it would be awesome if you also maybe did videos on modded creatures, such as the ones from Ark Additions. All creatures from that mod are such high quality as if Wildcard themselves made it, and they're all very unique both in taming and abilities. It would be cool to see your take on them, like a taming guide of just thoughts on them. :D

I feel like the best Wyvern are the crystal ones being a smaller Wyvern with similar strength to it's more bulky relatives while being both faster and more maneuverable than them, with how good the Blood Crystal Wyvern is at staying alive being able to heal from range and from corpses while still packing a decent punch it should've at least had 2nd place if not 1st as I do like the Lightning Wyvern as well and I see why it got 1st place here
Yea i would def place blood 1st and lightning 2nd since iy can be bred and heal. I kept killing all wyverns in the desert hive to have alphas spawn to get the 5 talons and i had full health pretty much the entire time because i got the health back from killing the same wyverns that damaged me in the first place.
It also has surprising range i noticed, just it takes time to travel unlike lightning which makes hitting targets far harder. That and the fact the area of effect is thinner than the blood stream visuals, but seems to be barely longer than the blood stream. Meaning you can damage stuff slightly out of the visual reach, but can also miss even though it looked like a hit because of the thinner area of effect compared to the visuals
Crystal wvyerns can’t pick up stegos making them pretty weak for raiding…
One issue with the poison wyvern that stops it from being a great sniper/siege dino is that after a certain distance it just does 0 damage.
Poison Wyvern is ridiculously underrated. It's easily one of the best wyvern head design and literally the only long-range wyvern of them all. The breath damage is also insane so with a little bit of practice you can snipe out most enemies from a safe distance without even fighting them. All in all, while it's not the best it's should be def at least in the top 3.
it was my first wyvern i ever earned, lost so many creatures in the process and almost quit my scorched earth save... the Poison wyvern has a very special place in my heart and i will always choose it over any other wyvern if given the chance
Poison wyverns are a LOT more devastating than people give them credit for. Even with gas masks as they can easily shred through the durability of a low level gas mask. I’ve never picked people off the back of other tames so easily in my life with the breath attack. However, they definitely don’t look as cool as the other wyvern variants unless they have really rare colors.

I think the ice wyvern looks the coolest but lightning is definitely the most fun to use in my opinion but crystal wyverns I like the blood more 😂😂😂 I used 20 lightnings against the 3 titans and they wrecked face😜
I’m team poison and shocked it’s lower then the fire wyvern especially since tropical are just better fires. Plus poisons are great with synergizing with lightnings.
I didnt catch the scrolling words at all, but otherwise good video. I'm surprised that the ember is so low. It looks cool, the increasing attack is great against alphas and its an easy tame.... if you can find one and not die in the process. Came across an alpha blood wyvern myself right when I found an ember xD
I prefer tropical bc on pvp while pickfighting you have the advantage of speed and agility. Also you can escape mostly anyone with the water buff
The Lightning Wyvern definitely deserves place 1 on the list

I think that they all have their own uses, but none of the other wyverns stood a chance against the lightning wyvern when it came to rankings.

Fire wyverns are good and all but I'm going to have to go with my favorite as a lightning wyvern or a tropical Crystal wyvern back when I was playing on the crystal Isles I used to farm a bunch of crystals and tame Some Crystal wyverns I even had a pen or should I say a farm for them because it was so much wyverns that I love taming them with crystals and it was pretty cool although tropical wyverns are pretty cool I'm going to have to say I like the lightning wyverns more because they do allot more damage

Great base defense and can be used to snipe enemy fobs or even kill enemies off of their tames. Just not as easy to use or devastating as lightning.
3: Blood-
Debatable choice of best crystal wyvern but due to its blood link thing which makes it extremely easy to kill people on foot I put it here.
4: Tropical-
Kind of bias but I hate tropical due to the fact they can use their water boost to escape almost anyone and boost their stamina reduction during fights.
5: Fire-
Slightly better than ember wyvern but not exceptionally good in pvp.
6: Ember-
Similar to fire wyvern it is not exceptionally good in pvp but is good at killing tames once the rider is dead.
7: Ice-
Nobody rides ice
8: Tek-
Haven’t seen enough people pvp on it that I can’t say where it will be.
Nice Video… in order to find voidwurms easy you best concentrate on one side of the lunar biom top of the map or on the bottom end, and whipe the dolphins. For me i found out thats the best way to find them. Good luck all

Honestly I love the wyverns. But my fav is the tropical crystal wyvern. First off, the colors are awesome but I love that it's super fast and gets even faster after touching the water. That and I love it's breath attack
The poison wyverns breath attack could also sometimes get into a part of a base if you hit the ground. I accidentally killed one of my tribe members years ago by hitting the wrong button 😅
I Haven't Seen Anyone Else Comment This But The Lightning Wyvern Can Also Basically Destroy Weapons, Such As The Longneck, Shotguns, Most Weapons Besides Tek, If Your Character Is Hit Enough With The Beam Attack While Holding Say A Longneck, It Has A Shock Like EMP Affect, Rendering The Rifle Not Able to Fire
People overlook Ice wyvern because most of the time we play alone. If you go hunt alphas with friends and dont have uber rexes or gigas, this wyvern breath is in fact doubling your team dps due to slow the target.
Recently got myself a full imprint lightning wyvern and I agree it’s the best wyvern
I have this idea for the ice wyvern where if you hold the breath attack button it would give you a effect saying "ready to shoot" and release it to spit out a ball of ice that explodes on impact and everything in its radius will freeze for a few seconds. Then just the normal breath attack useing the same button just not hold it down. (To use the ice ball your ice wyven needs to drink water like that modded dino that basically do the same thing)
The Ice wyvern is probably the best at snatching up wild tames and putting them in taming pens.

I like the void wyverns looks amazing and its is OP in pvp in my opinion. I fought somebody once with a mana and got reached in seconds from the void wrm (no not because i am trash lol) and the fact that it can damage all structures just makes it 10 times better for wipes and stuff idk
I don't know how many times in PVP I gear checked people with poision wyverns, basi's, or just plain gas nades. No one ever has a gas mask on them >:)
I'm a sucker for the tropical wyvern, that speed I would take over damage any day. You can always breed for damage

I love the look of the poison wyvern, it's one of my favorites, but I HATE using one. Low stam + a breath attack that has a very exact targeting need = frustration of missing all the time then running out of stam. Plus this thing has knocked me out a few times having accidently flown through the poison clouds when in the frenzy of trying to tame / kill something so it's just a big pain.
Ngl, my favorite part about the crystal wyverns is that they glow a little, and that glow affect changes if you change their colors via commands or breeding

Poisons severely underrated, I remember starting out Ark with friends who had 1000+ hours in the game and i had maybe 5/6 hours they decided i wasnt able to use Fire or Lightning so Poison was my mount… 4000 hours later i can safely say its still my mount of choice 😂
I for surely get that the lightning wyvern is on top but i personaly think the blood, void and tropical wyverns are better i mean
- void wyvern OP in pvp ( i know for some people he is pretty hard to get)
- blood wyvern tanky as hell
- tropical pretty good for pvp but amazing to go arount the map and easy to get
Lightning is pretty good but just to popular a lot of other wyverns are just as good in my opinion you just need to know how and when to use them

Wyrm is just another name for the species of flying reptiles in general. A wurm is what you're thinking of, where it has no legs. Normally its referred to as a Lindwurm
@@skiddybopmmmdada9534 from what I know, and the little searching I did, wyrms are flightless and limbless dragons, whereas wurm is basically synonymous but can also be really big snakes, like Jormungandr from GoW4.

Team Poison here, though more for the visual design. The lightning head just looks so derpy though has the best tail, the poison has the best wings and head designs, as well as better colour regions especially on the wings.
I am still in love with my lev 423 zombie lighting wyvern... This thing could power an entire country with its lighting beams xD
I've only really messed around with the lightning wyvern because I'm a new player and I found a lvl 175 egg. Got to say, thing is super strong . That lightning attack is devastating, insanely quick and accurate. I found out the hard way that jumping off of the wyvern before the attack is fully finished will end with me being instantly killed by my own wyvern lol
the lighting wyvern is just op, I've got an imprinted one which has 20k health and deals 472hp for its lightning attack and 1.6k damage on its bite attack, it gets rid of deathworms in less than 30seconds

I think it would be lightning poison blood top 3 blood is super-effective for PVE laudanum poison can be very effective if you're riding it the void worm is not that effective only for PVP where that's even debatable because I have killed one with a lightning wyvern before he even got the shot off and they're not that good for Boss Battles so that sucks the extra levels is nice but the difficulty it is to tame is absurd in my opinion of course Everyone's entitled to their own thing good video have a good one

Poison Wyverns are my favorite. It took practice to get accurate with their poison fog blast, but it's like an atom bomb. In upper levels I think they are also physically stronger then the others too.
Im quite surprised Ember wyverns are so low on the list definitely one of my favorites to get right after a tropical since you can steal their eggs quite easily
Far easier just to tame than to steal an egg. Only found few high lvl eggs, a ton of high lvl wyverns flying about.
Riding a baryonyx + a crossbow = easy low level wyvern knock outs for primal crystal

I love Lightning Wyverns coz they look awesome and have such a sleek design compared to the others, I was able to make mine look like Cynder the Dragon from Dawn of the Dragon/Skylanders
