Get him a bubito, powerful for its size, but not too powerful, and absolutely indesctructable! (just my two cents, I run this radio with a bubito and fat shark recons (older box goggles, but they work))
Newbie here.. so I bought this pocket master and I built your 2023 FPV drone, however I’m having trouble binding. It appears I am able to bind to the receiver but it’s not working. Am I missing something?
Idk if you've ever had one, but how would you say the gimbals compare to the jumper t pro. Like are they bigger, smaller, feel better etc. They might actually be the same as the t lite im not sure. But anyway, I have a t pro, and the one thing I don't love about it is the gimbal quality, they just don't feel quite as nice as my friends zorro. I think this radio could be the perfect upgrade for me, coz the switch placement is very similar, and its perfect for me.
Sabes si se puede usar con beta configurator? Tengo un aquila 16 y quisiera agregar al pocket todas las funciones del drone. Ya estan bindeados pero no los he llevado al ordenador. Por cierto, se ve muy cool en azul, pero el verde está super :)
What do you recommend for FPV Simulator for those wanting to do real estate work? Asking for my brother as there are way too many sims out there. Snagged two of these controllers for him and my son to try out.
I'm looking to get into the fpv hobby. I've been flying in sims with a playstation controller and want to take the leap to getting an actual controller. Does this controller work in simulators? Would this place any restrictions I need to know when I build my first drone in the future? This looks like a great controller for the price.
I second TC but say get the ELRS version, having recently broke my main radio I just got a BETA Pro and wish I had waited for this. ELRS is the best protocol for most people, cheap available receiver's and most BnF come with it. It is becoming the standard. Run 2.4 on this and later if needed add the module for 900mhz long range (just plugs in the back in a slot) and you have all you need. Normal switches break in bags, sticks get stuck and gimbals damaged but this is designed to be chucked in a bag quickly.

As far as I know, there are no gimbal upgrades for this radio yet. Although the mini ago1 zorro gimbals are the same size, they do not have the right mounting pattern, so they will not work.
@@TRONCATFPV Yes I know, but both cables carry 5v... You said I dont know what would happen if you mixed them up... NOTHING would happen they are both USB and both carry 5v. One charging and one being a link does not matter, both cables carry 5v is my point lol
@@dimonik12don’t try it pls. I plugged a flight controller with this usbc to a charging brick instead of the pc, and it fried it instantly. It might be different but I wouldn’t risk it
@@BigJ_FPV USB data needs 5v to power the device it connects to... The charger uses 5v to charge... You either have a faulty brick (dont use that again) or are mistaken as to what happened. If your plugging FC's into power banks I would guess mistaken, I cant see any reason to do that to a new working FC but the USB port/cable is not the issue here.

I think this is currently the best full-featured budget radio on the market.
It will work with simulators and can basically work with any RX protocol.

Does this take AG01 mini gimbals.
I cant say for sure as I dont have one (im asking the same question to be sure) but it LOOKS like it will be the same bolt pattern as the ag01 minis.

As far as I know, there are no gimbal upgrades for this radio yet. Although the mini ago1 zorro gimbals are the same size, they do not have the right mounting pattern, so they will not work.

Yes. You can recharge them using the usbc port on the bottom.

Without Bluetooth, it's just garbage. Just like the Bluetooth of frsky PARA, not the Bluetooth of ELRS.
