Fantastic, mate. I very much enjoyed that.
Please keep making these! I'm about to rebuild my 42re from my 01 dakota and wanted to make sure I saw all of the videos and then i see this! I have a 2002 sprinter which has... the 722.6x nag1! I love you!
Wow Gary no hammer? Just kidding you make it look easy but I know how hard those splines and clutches are to line up again thank you for taking your time showing us very greatly appreciated.

Hi Gary.
I have a question. I purchased a nag1 transmission from a 04 crossfire and wanted to use it in my sprinter van. Could I simply change the gears to get it to the correct ratio as the original? The one in the van is 722.681 and the new to me is 722.618. I appreciate you taking the time thank you.
Hi when im driving atblow speed it feels like the gearbox bakes and relefe brake and relefe dont know how to explane it kind of driving whit egg shaped wheels.what can it be some pressure leak ?
On another video you set up to 15 foot ponds and on this video you set up to 20 foot pounds? I am confused about the torque specs.
What's the lubricant that you applied to the filter O-ring? It seemed like a lot!
Transgel, melts when the trans heats up, Good stuff
@@GaryFerraro thank you. I've got a conductor plate to do, I think it'll pick this up
Hello, Thanks for the valuable content.
I overfilled 722.6 with gear oil and as a concequence leals appearred. But I could not figure it out. Could you please advise before I open it. Nb: I am not driving the car since I discovred the first oil leakage. And there is no new oil on the flor except the old one. Thanks in advace.
if you have leaks, you have to clean everything off to see where it's coming from
Many thanks@@GaryFerraro
Hello, thank you very much for your great videos, they are really cool and greetings from Germany, I have a problem. I hope you can help me, I have now installed a new replacement gearbox with converter 722.640 and now I have the problem, before the car shifts into second gear when driving off, the torque converter clutch slams in. So it closes too early/quickly and opens too late. What's going on? The PWM valve has already been replaced. Glycol test is negative. It's an S211 E270CDI.
Try a shift adapt reset first see if anything changes. Once the reset is done, drive the car around, may have to put some miles on it to see if anything changed
@@GaryFerraro converter reset or transmission reset?
@@stanstan5394 Transmission adapt reset
Does the wave steel go dish up or down at 3:45?

@@GaryFerraro it’s been slipping and recently started slipping 3rd through 5th
Engine won’t build RPMs till 5th.
Our van has 420K on it.
No transmission codes

You missed tightening up the 1 detent spring bolt

Your videos saved my transmission rebuild. When I put the output shaft through, it snagged on the shim, bending it. I have a spare from old tranny.....but do I use some blue tranny lube to get it to stick and hold in place on the housing? Thank You, from Hackensack, New Jersey
