Lulu is the wife of late Maurice Gibb! The Gibb brothers are Maurice, Robin & Barry Gibb! They are the fantastic Bee 🐝 Gees! Andy Gibb was the youngest of the Gibb brothers! TQ
Great chat and love your openness. Also this song is up there with my favourites, I think it could be difficult to sing but you make it seem easy to do. Probably why its not covered that much. You are like a good wine Lulu, getting better with age! keep it up please
You sang it in the movie. I wept. You sang it on American Idol. I wept. You sang it live at the BBC. I wept. The emotion you put into it during all three performances rivals anything else that anyone cares to throw at it. Thank you for it.
Is their a full interview about to sir with love with Lulu , I have to be honest I was young when I first seen this movie in the late 60's , but something clicked and it had stayed with me as I remember my old high school class , and no one, wanted to enter it , it was really that bad and many times violent. And yet apart from a few teaches having break downs and chasing us with a cricket bat, I think we pushed that one just a little to far, one man worked it out ,that I owe so much. He understood why we had to be hard ,90% of the class came from broken homes so you had to learn fast to get through it all. But this teacher was different once he got our ear , we tested him many times and so did a 3x2 tested us back , we still had our targets tbh, as you do tend to grade them, but this man, no matter where he was , had the greatest respect from this class . Many years later our old class would see him now and then, only too willing to help him in what ever way we could, he taught us so many things, and by the time we left, although it was good in one way I don't think any of us really wanted to leave in the end, he was more than a teacher to us , he truly became our best friend.
My parents should have taken me to see this movie but they took me to "The Ten Commandments" and "Ben Hur". I haven't seen "To Sir With Love" but I kinda know what it's about. It might have cleaned up my attitude back in those wild school days. I'm gonna watch it tonight. It sure has a memorable and dynamic theme song which takes more than just singing to pull it off.
Love and admire you beautiful Lulu ! I saw you at tv.in1970 maybe in the film "To syr with love", l liked the film and the song which you sing in this film! All the best from Romania , Bucharest !🌺👏🍀
Lulu and cast played wonderful parts in to Sir with love ..,,it was a most touching film set in a London secondary school ,I whish i had been so fortunate in my schools i attended in the 45/ 50s ,, most of the teachers were first class bullies , if you wernt academic or the teachers pet you were out on a limb ,,,,i learnt more after i left school xx

Oh me oh my I’m a fool for you ! Great song also loved restless mood ! Love from the Bronx NY
When my family lived in the Bronx (Aqueduct Ave.) in the '60's, my Mom, played 'Oh, me oh my', and 'The boat that I row' constantly.
RIP Sidney ...
