Hi. Believe it or not, I have fished water much deeper than that. So far 300 m is the deepest I have fished. There is not many fish, and the ones that are there are just the weirdos of the family 😂 thanks Brother, glad you liked it 😁👌

Using the worm hair for dabs has been a game changer. Very very few deep set hooks even with tiny circles

Yeah a return to bait fishing! Love to lure fish too but for me bait fishing is fav. I can honestly say I have adopted 95% of your techniques, I just don't do pendulum/SA casts. I only use j hooks now and variations of the dingle dangle and my catch has turned from meh to need to tell every one of my monster fish. Can't wait for the video!

I recognized the circle hooks you are using on the worm rod from Ali Express, really nice circles I've been using them in 5/0 and 6/0 for smooth hounds and they have been working a treat, very impressed with them! Looking forward to heading north myself to Havoysund but not looking forward to 3 flights, an overnight stay in Frankfurt and a 3 hour coach journey to the camp but heyho no pain no gain as they say! Have tried using lead flights to help lift them clear of snags.
I've used in the UK and they defo do the trick - worth a try maybe?
I feel in this case it's just more junk that cuts down on distance, landing you in the snags anyway. They don't work particularly well in Norway, because the obstacles are sometimes a cliff face of 20 meters. Glad you liked it Brother, much appreciated 😁👌

Ugh, leader to mainline knot, on the shore? I need my fishing glasses, a magnifying glass and a seat, close to the coffee pot to achieve that! I would be interested how you attach a swivel to braid? I got a few variations I use, recently started using another that seems stronger but, again, needs the fishing knot glasses and magnifying glass lol

I’m pretty well versed with the lrf style fishing, I’ve been a fan of mobile lure fishing for years- you miss all the scrappers under the rod tip though.
Can’t beat lure fishing, or bait, in a secluded spot. You’re the only person there - it’s magical

Next best thing is a Tripod net. Google Midwater Luggage (if in the UK) - excellent Rod sleeves and tripod nets in two sizes.

Hi billy I’m 15 and my dad and I love fishing and are visiting Oslo in 2 weeks. Could you give us some pointers on rigs, areas to fish, lures any help is appreciated thanks.
Hi bud. Unfortunately I have never fished in Oslo fjord. This is because the fishing there is not particularly good! But there will be mackerel. And you can catch these with simple lures and feathers. If you head South away from Oslo, the fishing should be better . Thanks Brother 😁👌

Fantastic video as always Billy, i have one question for you if you don't mind ? As a fellow Irish man living in Norway, when you find locations to fish do you ask permission to fish those marks or is it free for all? I always have concerns about getting kicked off locations so always have to go through the indignity of asking in my best Norwegian dialect for permission to fish certain grounds.🤣 Im just wondering if you face the same issues or not ? :)
As it goes, I see if there's fences or signs saying I can't fish. And if there are none of these things, I go ahead. and if I get kicked off, it's not the end of the world. You have to chance your arm sometimes brother 😁👌
