      @@Billyfishing_watch I think the process you use to make your frozen blow lug concentrates the scent.
      As you say.
      Taking the water out of the worms is key.
      Gutting them removes to much I feel.

    • @Billyfishing_watch
      @Billyfishing_watch  2 года назад +1

      I think so, also the fish find the worms in a state of decay after a day or two rolling around the seafloor after a storm. So the frozen lugworm are closer to what they're used 👍

      Ok, I understand. In the place I was fishing in the video, there is only sand there. So no need for a weak link or rotten bottom. If you search on RUclips rotten bottom rig, some videos on how to fish in rocks will come up. Thanks Brother 👍😁

    • @toomasmirka2049
      @toomasmirka2049 2 года назад

      @@Billyfishing_watch I'm sorry, but one more question from a beginner - when fishing on a rotten bottom, do larger fish (halibut, catfish, cod) often try to get stuck between the rocks on the bottom?

    • @Billyfishing_watch
      @Billyfishing_watch  2 года назад

      I will try and explain how this works. You take a piece of fishing line, weaker than the line from the reel. Then you tie that to the end of the rig. When you have done that you then tie the weaker line to the sinker. When the fish swims between the rocks and the singer gets stuck the line will snap and you can pull the Fish free.
