I heard a guy say that the reason he purchased a Northern Lite was because him being a Boat expert, and being in the Navy for many years said the quality of the Northern Lite was excellent. He said the body of the camper only has one seam in the whole unit, and of course that makes it so much better built with less problems. It really is a quality build. Truck Campers allow for easy travel, easy parking, easy manuvering to park everywhere. I can't think of any parking restrictions for truck campers, where as pulling campers have restrictions for parking, some can't even get into sight see in the National Parks. Some of the benefits of a truck camper over a trailer or 5th wheel is, firstly you don't need to license a truck camper. Just load it on your licensed pickup and go. Because it is not licensed, if you purchase it in Alberta you don't have to pay sales taxes. If you purchase one used, privately there is no sales tax. In our travels there were some toll bridges that charged per axle. The camper has no axle so you just pay for the truck. Also ferries charge by the foot so with this unit you would only have to pay extra for what overhangs the back of the pickup. I live on an island so this is important to me.
Northern Lite has a 6yr structural warranty on their campers. Who else offers that?
I think I would starve to death if I had to make a living as a salesman, but I think I could sell Northern Lite campers.

Also being only 25ft total makes it campground friendly. Especially in forest service campgrounds. If it fits we camp 🤪

@@CC-iz1yg We ordered ours from Western Campers in Fort Worth, Texas. They’re telling us it’ll be November. We were fortunate to get our name on a dealership order that no one had made a deposit on so we got a bit of a jump on the wait time. And it was early enough to make the changes we wanted to make. To say the least, we are very excited!

Wow! the quality of that camper is impressive. Love the fiberglass construction and the fact it is spacious without having to cut huge holes in the wall for a slide. Must be great in cooler weather when you need the heat. I'm sold!

We bought the 10.2 LE in March just as the Corvid virus hit. We have the 2020 model and I’m a little envious of your bath. I would gladly have given up the pantry to have more room in the bath. Good move for Northern-Lite. Other than that I wouldn’t trade my rig for anything 😀 so far we spent a week in the Sierras and 3 weeks in Montana. This is a great rig! Enjoy 😉

@spindp, do you still love your Northern Lite? We have a 5th wheel that plagues us with repairs, a blow out, etc. Every time we go on a trip, it’s back to the shop for repairs. We’re seriously considering a NL 10.2.
@@carolhutchison222 yes we are currently camping in Kanab Utah and having a great time. The camper is a little tight on space but we manage with 2 midsized dogs and a husband too😆. We are pulling a 26 ft box trailer and two Rzrs.
Carol Hutchinson I’ve had a 34 ft class A and a class C 26 ft. I really do enjoy just the camper, and I would do it all over again. It’s so hard trying to figure out what set up works best for you, with all the options out there. Good luck and happy camping

Love the camper! I have an idea for you. Instead of hanging your broom there in the walkway. Why not just get a telescopic aluminum broom stick.

For a camper with no slide outs it's roomy enough and 4 seasons gives year round use in northern climates down to -30.

Awesome walk through!!!! My wife and I have had a travel trailer with slide out, a giant Excel 5th wheel with 4 slide outs sold them. Now we have a old Lance 1030 and its getting close to end of life with that but we loved it. We will be ordering/getting exact same make and model Norther Lite to match up with my 2017 F350 PSD DRW (5,750 lbs Cargo capacity) Northern Lite is 2nd to none for truck campers!! Been researching for years! Don't want a slide out on any camper anymore! Its just the 2 of us so should be perfect!

I have owned many Lances in life and they had been a very good camper to us but once we looked at the Northern Lite we were sold on it
WOW I'm even more impressed with Northern Lite. I narrowed down to 4 companys but now it maybe 1. We live in Belize, Central America and are setting up for a ton of travel. Looks like Delaware is the place to go for purchase. I do see more Fords though. Why not GMC or Dodge?

What's the total weight with the gray water, back water, fresh water and full propane tanks
Do you know what your max weight is fully loaded with all your tanks full and all your gear including the truck full of fuel and passengers etc.? Thanks.
When reviewing/previewing campers plse start from the inside. Externals are irrelevant if we don't like the inside first.

Yes they are.
The belly of camper and the whole unit is heated and vented to keep moisture to a minimum
Great video, thanks. I have a couple of questions. First: I'm 6'4" 280 lbs. Do you think I would have an issue with the bathroom? ie...sitting on the can and fitting in the shower ...etc. Second: I noticed you have a SRW truck. Does it handle the load well or do you wish you had a dually? I've been looking at the NorthernLite 10.2 for some time now. I like them a lot. Thanks again for any advice.
