Love the idea of this thing. It would be so much lighter to tote around than our portable fire pit. The only thing that prevents me from buying it is that there's no way to hook it up to the quick connect on our trailer. Don't want to haul an extra tank, and since we have 30 lb tanks we are not going to lift one off of the nose of the trailer. If they come out with a conversion kit to use it with the quick connect I would be all in!
I built a base on mine because sometimes you need to move it and the legs fold up on itself without it having a way to keep the legs from folding in... 👀 Something I think they need to sell as a option or include... 👀
I also want to note... This isn't trying to mimic a campfire... This is just a big flame 🔥 👀 it puts out heat and light... Nothing wrong with this approach in my camp... The portable and lightweight and ease are the tradeoff... I have a propane Camp Chef and it uses lava rocks... 👀 I don't want to drag it across the country (yes, I drive from Indiana to Arizona) and although I don't just camp in my van, I do camp small with my 13' Scamp... The Tripod Torch fits in its small canvas bag... 😁
I think you meant "Camp FIRE!" not "Campfire". That torch looks like a great way to burn down your rig and the countryside. That thing is the sort of silliness that will get fueled campfires banned during burn warnings along with wood burning.
*Well, what did you think of the Tripod Torch? I'm so happy about the compact feature of this kit. This will be used a lot at our campsite!*

Thats a great point! I will forward the info!
Good for fire bans, i would still add some sort of base that makes it look like a wood fire
There is the little red campfire kit that resembles that.

Yes, that is a great idea. It can be a little awkward even setting it up. **

Kool video! Do you have one on your segway thingy in the back?
Coming soon!
Nah, wood campfire is the best, the smoke is also drive away the mosquitos
not during fire bans..thats the whole point of propane pits so you can at least have a fire during those bans
I understand, this is an option we prefer for simplicity, easy start, easy stop and no mess to clean up.
The notches on the leg are your wrench for the hose.
Yes, it's in the video. Thanks for watching!
Lol, I for real though it was a Fallout 76 cap tutorial from the thumbnail! Looks great though!
Thank yah
Plus you can clean it with a mop

Thanks for the input.
