I recently started playing Skyrim from the Elder Scroll game series, to help inspire my new album in the making! I got so inspired, I actually got distracted and decided to cover this beautiful song! It was originally composed by Jeremy Soule and belongs to Bethesda.
I also made the dragonscale chainmail piece for the white dress segment by hand!
I hope all you TES fans and Skyrim fans like my version!!

Malukah has the most decent pronunciation in both languages, and even risks a lot more tones... let alone she also plays the lute. This girl is just ok. Like for the effort.

oh wells, watching closely latest bethesda efforts... i kind of dont expect anything good, unless they turn 180, change their gamebryo into something else, change their greedy attitude etc... yea whole game industry getting more and more rotten, i just wish bethesda didnt follow example of ea and others

This remarkable lady has the same harmonics, resonance, pitch as Karen Carpenter. What a beautiful, peaceful voice that soothes the mind and spirit. I'll be surprised if Leah doesn't reach the same recognition as the Carpenters if she has an agent worth his or her salt. Her songs are a gift to all who hear her.
I think LEAH was born to sing and perform Celtic and Gaelic songs. All fans of the sound should check her out. Damn good!

I have listened to really many versions of this song, but no matter how they have been orchestrated or instrumented they haven't really been any better than Malukah's version. However - your version really is the best one I have heard. There are many things I like about your version. I really like how you have been able to break the monotony of the verses, by using your - apparently - many years of experience with Celtic music to create variations on the verse with a clear tonal coherence with the rest of the song. I also like how you have changed the bridge to be a floating almost dreamy prelude to the Skyrim Main Theme part in contrast to other versions where the bridge is a traditional build-up . Really, really good work. What you have accomplished is no small feat; for the first time I can enjoy the song in a version that feels like a complete song - not just half a song. Thank you.

This is a fantastic rendition of a classic theme. The Skyrim theme has been covered so many times that to bring anything new to the piece is a real challenge, but I'd say that you absolutely nailed it. Well done!

I was late to the game and started in august of 2012 but ever since I have been obsessed and adored it. It was a massive part in my childhood and single handedly inspired so much creativity in me and got me into fantasy as a genre and later midevial history. Not to mention life long friends I would otherwise never have met. It also helped through some incredibly hard times. I now have over 3000 hours in game between the different versions and platforms. It truly was a transformative part of my life and whenever I hear the songs from it I get a rush of euphoric nostalgia.

In the bridge section when the song goes into the dragon language, this has to be the best I’ve heard, not only do you sing it with amazing tone, and clarity, but I can actually understand how to pronounce the words in the verse, in most covers I don’t hear this kind of clarity.
