Thumbs this up so Martina can see it. There is a Leonard's bakery in Japan!!! It's in the World Porters in Yokohama! You can get all of the donuts you want!
As someone who is born and raised here in Hawaii, I always get REALLY nervous when people come and visit Hawaii and try their food because I worry about it being ridiculously racist and stereotypical. But I'm happy you guys did justice to local food in Hawaii and actually went to some local spots. :) Wish I were on Oahu, but I'm currently on the Big Island.
Simon and Martina GOOD JOB! That's a lot of hard work😂 to cool I'm on my high schools robotics team (it's FTC and it's so cool) and we eat like instant ramen and chips and garbage all the time so I can relate!😂
LOL I DIED AT THAT SEXY MOMENT "MASALA---MASA--MAMA--ALSALAMALAIKUM" mainly because asalamalaikum means "MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU" so martina got it correct in that sense. ALSO I LOVE THE PERSON THAT DID THE ENGLISH SUB!!!
Ahhhh thanks for the laughs :D. Also to answer your question, "donut" is the American spelling and "doughnut" is the British way of writing it. S & M are Canadians (represent!!) and I'm pretty sure we spell it the British way, but we tend to flip-flop between the spelling systems. It's pretty confusing.
Asha Mae Lol actually I am not from any of those places but my first language is english lol its quite confusing cause we also switch the spellings of britsh and american words
i seriously love how you guys introduced the sponsored portion. the best part is that even though this video is sponsored, it doesnt feel fake/staged or anything :) thank you for making such an amazing video.
Also, NOTIFICATION SQUAD! Please let us know if there are any places we missed out on. We want to go to Hawaii again, and would love more recommendations of where to eat!
Aaaaah I'm so happy you went to The Pig and the Lady! They're amazing! ^o^ I went there for the first time for my 21st birthday in June and they have the BEST customer service ever! The hostess and my waiter said happy birthday to me. They gave me a free 12 hour brisket French dip banh mi sandwich because they noticed we were trying to split 1 between 5 people. I had my first alcoholic drink there and I ignorantly picked a super strong one. My waiter asked me how I liked it and I said I'm not used to how strong it was. He came back with a free, much more refreshing alcoholic drink for me. I was so surprised!
Thank you to +Joshua's Kookie and +Cindy Nguyen for the hilarious English subtitles. I love it! And thank you as well to +adibah hanum Kamarudin for the Malay subtitles. You're all wonderful people and deserve all the cookies in the world :D
Sometimes when companies sponsor RUclips videos, they're very forced and meh. But this. This has made me want to go to Hawaii more than ever. Good job Simon, Martina, and Hilton 😩
//perks up at the mention of Malasadas YESSSS! The BEST! Quick little factoids: Malasada translates to "undercooked" And pão doce transaltes to "sweet bread" //finger guns and jumps away
Simon and Martina It's nothing but love. Thank you guys so much for your Korean TL;DRs, I just came to Daegu less than a week ago and I binged every single one of them on both channels. Best of luck in Japan, Hawaii, Canada, Poland, wherever life takes you.
That's because of their VISA situation. You have to leave at the end of the month. They are pretty much like illegal aliens. They don't have a work visa but they still work and make money unbeknownst to the Japanese authorities.
i have never been this excited to know that The Hilton sponsored my favorite fabulous youtubers. this means that both of you are just going stronger after this. i hope you'll get more sponsored video!!
I feel like we need a montage of 'bad' food they've eaten around the world, because they just make everything look amazing and delicious and heavenly - and I'm skeptical
Hawai'i actually has a phrase for eating so much you need a nap: Kanak Attack. Glad you tried the Malasadas (mala-sadas) and the pho sandwich. Poi is also good with sugar or honey mixed in (how I ate it as a kid). If poi is a day old, it goes sour which my grandpa used to love. I still like mine fresh. Wish you could have stayed longer but hopefully you'll go back and try a poke bowl at foodland in Ala Moana (the worlds largest outdoor mall) or go to Shirokiya (also at Ala Moana) which is the Japanese food court and compare to authentic Japanese food. Since it will be a while till I can go to Japan, I'd love a comparison!! Mahalo for sharing!!!
I was born and raised in hawaii, and you guys really nailed the good local spots! I was happy to see you both enjoying hawaiian food. I'm away from home right now so seeing your video helped me with my homesickness. Thanks for all the videos and keep up the good work!
Please whoever did the English captions for this video- I died when you wrote that you picked the wrong time to do the captions. Do you know how hard it is for a corpse to type and laugh?! :) HA HA HA!!!
Ok, Simon and Martina: you want to live in a earth house someday; you love food and having a good time. It is official: you are hobbits. I want photos from Middle Earth. Love you guys!
I really feel like these two deserve all the sponsorships, subscribers and more. They're couples goals, they're so hard working, and always are who I go to if I ever want company or to cheer up.
haven't eaten at the pig and the lady yet but there's also lucky belly in chinatown that's super super good. also, pretty sure the sweet and sour malasadas have li hing mui powder on them...
I never got sweet and sour malasadas. I only ever ordered the original or cinnamon ones. However, Li Hing Mui or Li Hing powder is really popular in Hawaii. It's often sprinkled on fruit like fresh pineapple. It's sour and salty, and red. So I think that was what was on those malasadas.
I'm pregnant and have morning sickness pretty much all day. So when you guys post food videos I really enjoy them. (eating vicariously). Thank you for your videos!
djokawari have you ever heard of the pearl Harbor bombing. Hawaii was occupied by so many local Japanese. they had life so hard because no one wanted to trust them
ANAKE PIKACHU Occupied might be the wrong word choice. In WWII, Hawaii was one of the few (present-day) states where they didn't intern every Japanese person. Because if they interned every Japanese person in Hawaii, there wouldn't be many people left on the island to work.
Oh man, I was really hoping you'd be able to make it to the other side of the island for the shrimp truck! Seriously the best shrimp ever! It was so strange to see you guys describing the foods I grew up with, lol. Definitely made me homesick.
I'm honestly more than glad to see my favorite youtubers getting sponsored. I can't support them monetarily, but I want to see them in a position to create more content. Seeing them able to do so w/ sponsors makes me happy :)
You guys' videos bring me such joy! I was a teacher in Korea for a couple years and you guys fulfilled my nostalgia need and now I get to enjoy your trips and life in Japan. I love it. Thank you.
I'm so happy you guys enjoyed the foodies here! ps you can get malasadas at Yokohama at the mall Leonards there. It tastes almost the same and has the Hawaii feel ^-------^
Simon and Martina may i honestly put out there that my fiancé was so happy that you guys did a video on coco curry...because I've never eaten coco curry and now i love it. lol again super happy you guys enjoyed. i hope you both come back and try shave ice, acai bowls, and some legit coffee at the green world coffee farm in the north shore.
You know how you watch certain channels to motivate you to work out or get fit? You guys motivate to go forth on my own food adventures. Gad, yes. YES, please.
Its awesome how I rewatch your videos 5, 10 times and they never fail to make me happy. I hope you feeling I bit better today. Like you said, time is everything to heal wounds. Love you!
WONDERFUL! I lived in Honolulu 40 years. You hit the major spots. The Pig Lady wasn't there when I left 4 years ago. I'm definitely going there when I visit for my grandson's high school graduation in May. Thanks!
I feel so sad when non locals have days old sour poi. Poi is the BEST when it's FRESH. Hanalei poi from the supermarket is the BEST. and you just eat it by itself. or you can mix your lomi and/or kalua in it. Yes, I don't eat the meat anymore cause I'm now vegan. But prior to that I've grown up eating hawaiian food. So... yeah!
Vegan Pisces - same here! Grew up on poi, and I feel insulted when visitors claim that poi is disgusting, it's more than often that the poi they've had or tried was sour and not fresh. I love my Hawaiian food, but I've recently became vegan. It's been such a hard journey to fully give up our amazing food, here in Hawai'i. But I am so thankful I still can have my poi ❤️😛
just found this video. I LIVE in Hawaii, for most of my 52 years! Aside from Hawaii, my 2nd most favorite place in the world is JAPAN! So, LOVE your channel!
I love you guys soooo much!!!😍 I do have a request though. Next time you guys do come to Hawai'i, please let your fans know which island you flew to. A lot of youtubers and just people ib general just say "Hawai'i", but they never say what island, and I wonder a lot of the time. KEEP BEING AWESOME AND STAY TRUE TO YOUUU!!😆😁
just got home from a exam, super hungry wanted to relax by watching you guys but now seeing all this food i am just that more hungry. Don't want to continue to watch but can't stop ahhhhh
Love you guys so much! You've inspired my boyfriend and I to chase our dreams working/living abroad. Sending all my good vibes your way. It makes me so happy to see you guys happy. I've watched you guys for so many years now that you feel like old friends
watching this at 11:45pm makes me wish we had late night Hawaiian food spots here. i miss Hawaii.... also, thank goodness you guys started with actual Hawaiian local food.
It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to watch this without salivating. Idk how you guys can handle editing this footage. I would cry because I would want to experience it over and over again
I love seeing people try our food and love it. Some come to hawaii and try our food and make the most disresprctful faces/remarks so its refreshing to see that you guys loved our food.
when i was 12 i went to honolulu and omg it was amazing i wish i could go back and re-enjoy everything (besides the food poisoning rip) and all the beautiful scenery and snorkeling and just take everything in and actually try new foods (bc i was really scared of eating fish so i didnt eat ANY fish there but now i eat fish 24/7 so i just have life regrets pretty much) idek i just have to go back T_T (the shaved ice was probably my favorite thing i ate in hawaii LMAO) the #1 thing i hated tho was the plane ride.... 8/9 hours of satan ;-;
Natalie Nichols I pass it everytime I go to mexicos across the street from Helenas and Im like "that place looks good.." but I never went in. Looks so good tho. 😆😆😆
The sour malasada you guys tried is called lihing mui. It's a plum (in malasadas, they're in powder form), the lihing mui flavor is extremely popular in Hawaii, it's similar to umeboshi you could say, but Hawaiianized. More about Lihing and how it's used here: In schools, a popular snack would be lihing mui powder (can be bought at almost any convenient store) with pineapples, apples, just fruits in general. You just get a plastic bag, throw in chopped up pineapples (or fruit of your choice), sprinkle in some of the lihing powder (put a little bit first, and you can always add more later), close the bag, shake it a lil bit, and eat it like that. The powders are also very popular as a shave ice topping. Speaking of shaved ice, you MUST try this amazing shaved ice place called "Waiola". They have... 2 - 3 stores I think. The ice is shaved very VERY finely. If you like chunky shaved ice then this might not be your thing, but I would still recommend it! Oh, they also have homemade mochi as one of their toppings options which I never forget to add in my shaved ice. This next thing I wanna recommend is quite far from town... actually it's a few hour drive. IT'S WORTH IT THOUGH! We call it Kahuku shrimp. I honestly don't know the actual name of the... truck. You will need to do a little bit more research to locate it, but it is in Kahuku (no duh), it will be... a scenic drive there, so I think it's great if you want to see more of Hawaii. Kahuku shrimp is very popular for it's garlic shrimp. They have lots more options, they're all great, it's also a must! If you do go there, there is a shaved ice place very close by, you should try there. I honestly think it's an equal to waiola :) There are beaches and caves that are not... mainstream??? Like ala moana and waikiki. You should try talking to locals to find out more. Beaches can be dangerous (again, no duh) so use caution :) Last but not least, on your next visit, if you want to do water activities and stuff, my mom has an office in Waikiki to help people make reservations or plans for any water activities, dinner cruises and more. Can't wait for your next visit :DDD
Pfft wow! I'm glad you guys got your fill on Hawaiian food! It's so great to have people come and want to learn more about our food and culture. I cannot tell you how excited I am to have you guys try some more stuff when you come back! :D
We ate a lot of food in Hawaii and gained three pounds in a week. Here's how we did it!
Simon and Martina i love ur videos soooooooo much!!!
Simon and Martina GOOD JOB! That's a lot of hard work😂 to cool I'm on my high schools robotics team (it's FTC and it's so cool) and we eat like instant ramen and chips and garbage all the time so I can relate!😂
Simon and Martina 🎶try the gray stuff it's delicious!🎶
You guys are amazing, life goals right here!
Simon and Martina will you guy make a video about your Halloween party because Sharla posted hers.
LOL I DIED AT THAT SEXY MOMENT "MASALA---MASA--MAMA--ALSALAMALAIKUM" mainly because asalamalaikum means "MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU" so martina got it correct in that sense. ALSO I LOVE THE PERSON THAT DID THE ENGLISH SUB!!!
samreen qureshi I was looking for this comment! 😂😂
samreen qureshi Hahahahaha.. im the person who subbed it😂 Im glad you like it!
Especially with that frustrated smacking of the teeth sound thats just like "i give up trying to pronounce this word..." Lmao
i seriously love how you guys introduced the sponsored portion. the best part is that even though this video is sponsored, it doesnt feel fake/staged or anything :) thank you for making such an amazing video.
+Vanessa See thank you for watching!
First thought: TRY THE GREY STUFF IT'S DELICIOUS.
Also, NOTIFICATION SQUAD! Please let us know if there are any places we missed out on. We want to go to Hawaii again, and would love more recommendations of where to eat!
For science 👏👏
Simon and Martina I wish you would come back to Chicago IL and go to all the town's near it
Simon and Martina I've never been to Hawaii ☹️
did you guys go to the pinapple plantation, its got a maze thats pretty cool. Also did you get a chance to go to the pacific cultural center? ^_^
Simon and Martina i've missed this.
Aaaaah I'm so happy you went to The Pig and the Lady! They're amazing! ^o^ I went there for the first time for my 21st birthday in June and they have the BEST customer service ever!

Oh! Next time you HAVE TO check out our food truck scene! :D Eat the Street is an easy and convenient way to do so!
Amy He T_T
Thank you to +Joshua's Kookie and +Cindy Nguyen for the hilarious English subtitles. I love it! And thank you as well to +adibah hanum Kamarudin for the Malay subtitles. You're all wonderful people and deserve all the cookies in the world :D
Your welcome ^^ I love your videos so much!
Simon and Martina I
I´m glad that I came prepared, I had food with me this time to watch this video.
Ah! An experienced viewer, I see here :D
Peachi Senpie same! Though theirs looked better 😭
the poor english subber on the other hand xD
I come back to this video every time I want to feel happy. Such a feel good video.
"since 1652" that's a 300-year difference martina 😂😂
LOL. I was thinking that too! Anyone else's video and I would be super critical of that, but they're just too adorable.
It was upside down to her when she was opening it so her brain must’ve just been like oh that’s a 6. 😂
Sometimes when companies sponsor RUclips videos, they're very forced and meh. But this. This has made me want to go to Hawaii more than ever. Good job Simon, Martina, and Hilton 😩
i fininally discovered the wonders of simon and martina's subtitles.
I don't think they did them, but whoever did is a genius!
Caroline Hollis I know lol but from now on I'm watching them with subtitles lol
VIPyellowwolfy21 yes! Just to see if the same person keeps doing it! It's so great! 😂👍🏻
Hahaha.. im glad you like the subtitles.. I was the one who subbed it😂
Oh please keep doing them! I LOVED the little emotes you added. xD It made it sooooo awesome!
//perks up at the mention of Malasadas
YESSSS! The BEST!
Quick little factoids:
Malasada translates to "undercooked"
And pão doce transaltes to "sweet bread"
//finger guns and jumps away
Oh! That's interesting! Thank you for the info :D
//jumps back in and whispers
come back to to Toronto and I can make you some fresh malasadas
That's tempting. So long as it doesn't have that sour powder on it :D
I promise you all the sugar-cinnamony goodness
The cinnamon/sugar ones are the same spice blend used on farturas (the larger and softer Portuguese version of a churro).
9:37-9:38
Simon: "I'll eat anything..."
Me: "What about fermented stingray?? >:D"
+lexi stans k-pop NEVER AGAIN!
You said Leonard's were from 1652 but it is written there it was since 1952 XD HAHAHHAHAH
she was reading it upside down haha
*Moves to Japan* *Never stays there more than 2 weeks at a time*
+Cody Crawford that's not fully true. It's three weeks! :P
Simon and Martina HAHAHAHHAH
Simon and Martina It's nothing but love. Thank you guys so much for your Korean TL;DRs, I just came to Daegu less than a week ago and I binged every single one of them on both channels. Best of luck in Japan, Hawaii, Canada, Poland, wherever life takes you.
That's because of their VISA situation. You have to leave at the end of the month. They are pretty much like illegal aliens. They don't have a work visa but they still work and make money unbeknownst to the Japanese authorities.
yootuubinatwerk I doubt that’s true since they own a house there. They travel for work, vacation or to see family.
i have never been this excited to know that The Hilton sponsored my favorite fabulous youtubers. this means that both of you are just going stronger after this. i hope you'll get more sponsored video!!
I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF AT THE ASSALAMUALAYKUM PART OMG HAHAHAHAHAHA

I know right
omg not just me that got confused thank you
*Adds all restaurants to list*
*Checks bank account*
*Crosses off all restaurants on list*
I feel like we need a montage of 'bad' food they've eaten around the world, because they just make everything look amazing and delicious and heavenly - and I'm skeptical
haha check out their pizza videos
Check out the korean secret soup dumpling video as well lol
They have said that they don't want to bash businesses bc staff can have bad days & they just delete the footage.
The Korean toast video as well
These ppl are goals. They literally enjoy everything! Good way to live!
I was born and raised in hawaii, and you guys really nailed the good local spots! I was happy to see you both enjoying hawaiian food. I'm away from home right now so seeing your video helped me with my homesickness. Thanks for all the videos and keep up the good work!
How do you guys always find these amazing family style places? Dang it now I want food.
Sparkler318 Hilton gave them a food guide and I'm impressed by the fact that it includes places that locals eat at.
Sparkler318 Helenas is the most rated and reviewed restaurant in Hawaii so it's not a secret
Best comment. :) HAHAHAH
msrjjon explains why i love them so much. Love hobbits
msrjjon but Simon and Martina love going on adventures, not a commonplace for hobbits
I really feel like these two deserve all the sponsorships, subscribers and more. They're couples goals, they're so hard working, and always are who I go to if I ever want company or to cheer up.
Tell me you did not just say assalamu alaikum at 7:45 LOL 😂😂😂
Ahmed Al-Neama how did he know that😂😂
well he ever go to Indonesia and receive letters from Indonesia, so I guess they know
Ada banana. ikr XD
I burst out laughing at that part! I love these guys.
Ahmed Al-Neama oh my god
18 minutes feels like 18 seconds with you guys. I love you so so much❤️
haven't eaten at the pig and the lady yet but there's also lucky belly in chinatown that's super super good. also, pretty sure the sweet and sour malasadas have li hing mui powder on them...

+Lavinia de Mortalium I'm glad! Thank you! We make a conscious effort of it :)
7:04 since 1652 *closeup of box saying 1952*
I'm pregnant and have morning sickness pretty much all day. So when you guys post food videos I really enjoy them. (eating vicariously). Thank you for your videos!
In the 1920s, Hawaii was 40% Japanese.
djokawari have you ever heard of the pearl Harbor bombing. Hawaii was occupied by so many local Japanese. they had life so hard because no one wanted to trust them
ANAKE PIKACHU Occupied might be the wrong word choice. In WWII, Hawaii was one of the few (present-day) states where they didn't intern every Japanese person. Because if they interned every Japanese person in Hawaii, there wouldn't be many people left on the island to work.
djokawari I see your point
Well during WWII Hawaii wasn't a state yet.
Shave ice in North Shore
I love how open-minded and respectful you are! thank you for this video! I'm happy that you're happy!
I say this everytime.... Your adventures are awesome to watch, really so awesome. I smile the whole time! I'm so glad I subscribed to your channel...
Thank you!
Whenever I decide to watch these two on youtube, hours just seem to fly by.... Truly excellent
+irishwars that's a lovely thing to say. Thank you!
You two are so brave. ;_; Sacrificing yourselves by trying all the food, JUST to show us. Thank you for your generosity. ♥
;)
You guys' videos bring me such joy! I was a teacher in Korea for a couple years and you guys fulfilled my nostalgia need and now I get to enjoy your trips and life in Japan. I love it. Thank you.
I'm so happy you guys enjoyed the foodies here! ps you can get malasadas at Yokohama at the mall Leonards there. It tastes almost the same and has the Hawaii feel ^-------^
We must go!
I'm front oahu and watching this made me really happy
it's really nice to see visitors take an appreciation to the things we got here!
"look at you with your abs, imma keep eatin' my curry... mmm" - simon
story of my life.
You know how you watch certain channels to motivate you to work out or get fit? You guys motivate to go forth on my own food adventures. Gad, yes. YES, please.
You guys are seriously marriage goals. ♡ I hope I'm as happy as you two someday.
Its awesome how I rewatch your videos 5, 10 times and they never fail to make me happy. I hope you feeling I bit better today. Like you said, time is everything to heal wounds. Love you!
guys what happened to your cafe in korea??
TTMIK runs it now
WONDERFUL! I lived in Honolulu 40 years. You hit the major spots. The Pig Lady wasn't there when I left 4 years ago. I'm definitely going there when I visit for my grandson's high school graduation in May. Thanks!
lol this is the reason i subscribed. I hope you keep uploading interesing food videos, don't get tired of it haha
+Daja Waja we've got some really cool food videos coming up!
So happy to see Martina feeling so healthy and happy! Hope it never ends!
So... yeah!

I love my Hawaiian food, but I've recently became vegan. It's been such a hard journey to fully give up our amazing food, here in Hawai'i. But I am so thankful I still can have my poi ❤️😛
Kaila Noelani ai love nalo (assuming ur on oahu) has amazing vegan hawaiian food :)
Actually native Hawaiians might disagree. Poi was/is stored and allowed to ferment. It’s an acquired taste but people love the fermented variety.
This video made me smile so many times.
You do such a great job on these.
Omg the subtitles. Ditto. I'm so hungry now and it's nearly 3 am. I want a snack so bad.
just found this video. I LIVE in Hawaii, for most of my 52 years! Aside from Hawaii, my 2nd most favorite place in the world is JAPAN! So, LOVE your channel!
Martina you silly goose, you said 1652 but it said 1952. I guess that's what you get for reading it upside down. Love you girl lol
In France the "hawaian donut" is called a beignet, usually filled with chocolate, jam or cream :)
+Rice Waterfalls next time we'd love to do a meet up!
just got home from a exam, super hungry wanted to relax by watching you guys but now seeing all this food i am just that more hungry. Don't want to continue to watch but can't stop ahhhhh
My goud, that sexi manly voiceover for donut Ohhh yeah... masala.. masa ashamawalekum 😂😂😂
Love you guys so much! You've inspired my boyfriend and I to chase our dreams working/living abroad. Sending all my good vibes your way. It makes me so happy to see you guys happy. I've watched you guys for so many years now that you feel like old friends
when 95% of their viewing base could never afford this for at least another 10 years 😂 ahhh i can dream guys i'll go one day
I'm so glad I found your vlogs...you 2 are an awesome, funny, wonderfully entertaining couple....Cheers!
+eunika1978 welcome to our channel!
Something kept bugging me.....something was different but I couldn't figure it out......
OOOOOH They are using forks! That's rare! :D
+Raya Gancheva the forks made us so uncomfortable as well!
Simon and Martina Right! Who even designed those things!.......Also did I just get a reply from Simon and Martina O_O ( happy dance!!)
watching this at 11:45pm makes me wish we had late night Hawaiian food spots here. i miss Hawaii.... also, thank goodness you guys started with actual Hawaiian local food.
You need to try the chocolate maladadas!!!!!!!!
+LalaKelsea next time!
I love that both of you are foodies because that's literally one of the best things about traveling❤❤❤🍴
I may have missed it but did you guys get your golden play button yet?
I'm Portuguese and my boyfriend is Hawaiian. Went to Hawaii in July. Was amazing. I miss it! I'm currently living in Australia

MARTINA! The Leonard's box says 1952 not 1692 as you said! You probably read the 9 upside down as a 6😂
It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to watch this without salivating. Idk how you guys can handle editing this footage. I would cry because I would want to experience it over and over again
No boots and kimos?? Oh man did you miss out on some amazing macadamia nut pancakes
+Bashley whuuuuuut?! That sounds amazing!
Simon and Martina yesss! I miss it so much. I don't even like pancakes like that but I LOVE these pancakes. I'd fly to Hawaii for them
Simon and Martina AND the garlic shrimp from basically any food truck. Hawaiians know how to handle shrimp.

I love seeing people try our food and love it. Some come to hawaii and try our food and make the most disresprctful faces/remarks so its refreshing to see that you guys loved our food.
HAWAII you so KAWAII :)
so happy to see people showing local food
"Masala.. Ma ma masal.. Masala.. Assalamualaikum.." 😂😂😂
OMG. Poke in Hawaii. I thought it was like, a salsa when I first started eating it. I loved it. Then someone told me it was salmon and I was floored.
Lol "since 1652" for the donuts
bless you Martina for explaining the food flavors for us 🙏
when i was 12 i went to honolulu and omg it was amazing i wish i could go back and re-enjoy everything (besides the food poisoning rip) and all the beautiful scenery and snorkeling and just take everything in and actually try new foods (bc i was really scared of eating fish so i didnt eat ANY fish there but now i eat fish 24/7 so i just have life regrets pretty much) idek i just have to go back T_T (the shaved ice was probably my favorite thing i ate in hawaii LMAO) the #1 thing i hated tho was the plane ride.... 8/9 hours of satan ;-;
also i just looked up the weather there and right now its 81 degrees im crying its 46 degrees here which is WARM for this time of the year TTT____TTT
EXOgirlygamer I live here it's ok
I wish I could go to Hawaii, but its really expensive and from England the plane ride is a satanic 16 and a half hours on a plane ;w;
I'm 1/3 Hawaiian and I'm from there😂
Thanks for subbing Joshua, I find your little personal touches here and there to be very charming.
I literally live five minutes from helenas and have never gone in there.
+リびい GO NOW!
リびい I went twice during our vacation!
More about Lihing and how it's used here:
In schools, a popular snack would be lihing mui powder (can be bought at almost any convenient store) with pineapples, apples, just fruits in general.
I honestly think it's an equal to waiola :)
There are beaches and caves that are not... mainstream??? Like ala moana and waikiki. You should try talking to locals to find out more. Beaches can be dangerous (again, no duh) so use caution :)
Last but not least, on your next visit, if you want to do water activities and stuff, my mom has an office in Waikiki to help people make reservations or plans for any water activities, dinner cruises and more. Can't wait for your next visit :DDD
Love is... Simon giving Martina the bigger half of the donut.
Pfft wow! I'm glad you guys got your fill on Hawaiian food! It's so great to have people come and want to learn more about our food and culture. I cannot tell you how excited I am to have you guys try some more stuff when you come back! :D
Although it's nothing too special, you can't go to Hawaii without having musubi!!
Everything looks scrumptious god... Hawaii is on a roll right now!
