The most likely reason the prawn catching houses are open late in to the night is because prawn and shrimp are nocturnal.
I only know this because my family owns a commercial prawn and shrimp catching business, the boats only run over night.

I think using footage with Sara in it any time you mention your trip to South Korea is such a warm, kind tribute to her. She clearly left a bright mark on your heart.
I love your videos going to cities in other countries, because I have always been afraid of being The Bad Tourist and have restricted myself from traveling for so many years out of fear of being a pest. So it's nice to see you go without any self-consciousness, and have fun experiencing culture like I wish I could. Someday, I hope I'll be brave enough to go to these places without feeling like I am doing something wrong. In the meantime, I will experience these places with you and try to take on some of your 'just try it, it will be fun' attitude.

lol, it's such a funny illusion. The visitor(people that were not staying there, but still wanted to see that sight) deck is under it, if I remember right. So looking at it straight on, it's trippy. But if you're hanging over the edge, the visitor viewing deck is under. I'm not sure if that deck is 360 degrees. It's funny, we weren't staying there, but a friend we had randomly made on the purple line of the subway, said people a lot of the time just sneak up. The visitor deck has its own elevator that goes up to the 55th floor, but if you have a room key to access the guest elevator, OR, if you sneak in, following a gaggle of Japanese tourists like we did, you can go up to the 57th floor, heheheheh. We couldn't actually get INTO the pool area, because you would have to scan your room key card again, and we didn't want to push our luck lol.

I lived in Singapore for a year, but never experienced any of this middle of the night activities. That was a lot of fun.
Also, Mustafa is crazy. I'd only go with a friend who knows where everything is and how to enter and exit using the same door.

This was great! My husband is a night shift worker, and he often struggles when we go on vacation because most tourist things are only open in the daytime. I wish there were more places open 24/7 in the U.S.!

I have really REALLY bad anxiety and insomnia, and your travel vids especially help me relax and get to a place where I can fall asleep and feel mellow, and this was dropped at the best time.

one city you might want to try an all nighter in is Madrid! I was there recently and when I got up at 6 AM to catch an early train, people had just left the club downstairs from my hotel! I had never seen so many people on the street that early in the morning

My mom had the same experience on an early morning walk in Madrid on Easter morning. These buzzed dudes we're still awake and wanted to take a selfie with her, lol.

In Spain we usually have dinner between 9 and 10 pm and we have a culture of partying a lot. 6 am to us is not the same as 6 am for the rest of the world. I do not party and still go to bed at 2 am in the weekends.

When I went to Barcelona we went on a kayak tour & planned to go out to the "disco" afterwards. We asked our tour guide what time we should hit the disco, like was midnight too late. He laughed & told us there wouldn't even be anyone at the clubs at midnight, we needed to wait until 2am (which as an American is usually around the time we're leaving the club haha). We also stuck with our American dinnertime of 6/7pmish & we're usually the only ones at the restaurant. But honestly as a night owl I really love how the Spanish operate!

This looked like a lot of fun. The quick clip of HojuSara made me sad for a minute. I miss her. I have to applaud you because the hot pot and spa would have made me too cozy to stay awake
