@@RCINFORMER Thanks! I know this sounds terrible but I have a hell of a time measuring the CG from the wing root. I wish the manufacturers would mark the factory CG on the wing, that way there would at least be a decent starting point. Thanks for all the videos
F-4 always been my favorite, grew up not far from where the real ones were built.I have a nib pnp version with graphics from Callie to resemble the JASDF 301 sq.#315 fighter, should be cool when finished, thanks guys!!

She definitely moves along nicely plus is very efficient on the flight times! I agree that CG needs to be more forward to get a more stable flight i did the same thing with my 8s freewing f4.
Both are great, and you will not go wrong with either purchase, but here are the differences! The E-flite model is a little smaller (80mm fan) , less expensive, has the decals applied, includes the AS3X stabilized receiver and is ready to fly after ONLY 9 screws to assemble.... It is a sweet package and the plane is an outstanding flying machine, largely due to the great stabilization provided by the AS3X stabilizer! The Freewing model is more expensive but it a bigger (90mm fan) model. You must do a little gluing of the tail and apply all the decals & the gray version is just gray, you have to paint the livery you want as the grey version is a blank canvas for you to customize. It does not include a stabilizer or receiver. The freewing model also comes in a 8s version and 2 color options (Airforce camo). I think the freewing model could really benefit form a stabilizer and I will probably add one to mine soon:) Both models are super fast 6s powered and have great lights, landing gear and fit and finish is excellent! So in conclusion, if you want a ready to fly, 9 screw together, easy to assemble and fly right out of the box model, get the E-flite model...... If you want a little bigger model and dont mind the extra assembly work/time & cost , then the Freewing model is the way to go. It really depends on what you want:) feel free to call me 407-683-6032 .... If you choose to get one please consider using my links in the description below the video to purchase as it does support my channel with no extra cost to you:) Thanks for the support!
RCINFORMER wow thanks for the great information. I don’t really mind the assembly time, just wondering if the Freewing is worth the extra $80. Freewing now has all their models come with an inrunner so the F4 is $530 on 6s.
@@joey4233 Its definitely worth the extra $80.... Keep in mind it does not include the receiver, where the E-flite model includes the installed AS3X Receiver. You will need to buy a Receiver for the Freewing F-4.
Hi, I have watched the different videos, over the years of this plane, the lx , the motion, and now horizon, what model has the most detail of these f4's? Looks the most real, and why???
The best of them is the E-flite & the Flightline. The scale details are about the same on both, probably a bit better on the Flightline/MRC because it is bigger. That being said, they are different. The E-flite model is FASTEST out of the box (only 9 screws to assemble w/zero gluing), flys better because of the Included AS3X stabilization receiver, and is less expensive (but it is a smaller model) Also ot is on sale now until July 31st with 15% off here: BNF version at HORIZON HOBBY: bit.ly/2MEIxf6 Use Coupon Code SOFO2020 at checkout! The flightline model is bigger & available in a 8s version & two color options that you have to apply all the decals. It's a bit more expensive, requires glue, requires a bigger battery & way more attention to assembly and setup. I think the Flightline model could benefit from a stabilizer. Both models are excellent & you will not go wrong either way:) Checkout the Flightline Phantom at MOTIONRC.COM:) Feel free to call me if you need more info: 407-683-6032 Rich
This is the best F-4 on the market! Easy to fly, easy to assemble and great size! Loved mine!great demo!
Yep loved the F-4 when I flew it this is a great model. Even gave one away 😉 totally a fantastic home run from Horizon
Oh my gosh it’s so beautiful❤️. I have definitely found my 2nd jet to obtain soon.
Fantastic Demo!! What Smooth flier 🔥🚀 and great guess on the flap mix!!
Love your reviews, wish you would show your CG markings on the wings so we have an idea of where the CG is visually on the plane.

what batteries were you using Victor? and what CG ?
Was the elevator flap mixing up or down elevator?
How would you say it compares to the Freewing F4?

Is that mix up elevator?
About grass?
Nice rich!!
Rich, your vocals kept breaking up from the beginning. If no one else heard it, maybe my connection.👍
We were trying out a new microphone system, it was breaking up a bit. I am returning it:)
Be nice if there was a PNP version. Check the site but not available
It definitely has an odd sound to it
