    looks great Ryan! For some reason, we in our club have nothing but trouble with AS3X. My buddy Ron has an Apprentice that consistently binds with the rudder way over. He always has to pull the wing and reset the servo arm. He'll fly, land and install a new battery, then has to pop the wing.

      james bolding Do you mean jets like this, or any RC plane? My very first plane was a Sport Cub S. It weighs 4 ounces, has a 24” wingspans, uses very light, very inexpensive one-cell batteries, and came with a transmitter in the box. It featured a big red trigger, that would instantly level the plane. I even held it down, while I did my first several landings.
      The key thing about the plane, is that it will teach you the muscle memory to fly from various orientations, and is equipped with ailerons, elevator, and rudder, as all proper airplanes should be! I would not recommend any beginner plane not set up this way, such as the type that only steer with the rudder.
      Now, with all that said, I hope that was the correct answer to your question. If not, my apologies! 😀

      @@jamesbolding4090 Don't buy one of these if you are beginner because you will crash it straight away. F4 phantom is only suitable for "advanced" or higher edf pilots only. If you been flying planes like fixed wing, 3d, or warbirds and you feel confident enough to buy your first edf jet. Get eflite viper 70mm.

    Hey PR, CM - I've been looking at this bird and hoping it can become my first jet although I'm not what you'd call an "advanced" pilot. I'm generally a old Warbird guy but the F4 is one of my favorites. BTW - I've been meaning to ask..... I love your runway and it looks like you have a perfect spot for it on your farm. I came off the farm and ranch years ago from "Mules Ass Kansas" but sure wish I had a spot like that. You're Midwest right? Good Flying guys!

      Jim Groves you fly for an airline? Or are you in the hobby business?

    • @jimgroves7981
      @jimgroves7981 5 лет назад

      Neither - I design control surfaces for airplanes but based on the money I've spent in the last couple years in this hobby I should be in the Hobby Business. LOLOLOL!Seriously I'm involved with the new 777X and the NMA that will be announced later this year. Put your seatbelt on when that baby comes out and NO I was not on the MCAS team. It's a great system but if you put a 172 trained pilot in a MAX cockpit you're going to experience some challenges. Make no mistake even an RC pilot could reach down an turn off the MCAS system without training. Nuf said. :)

    Ryan please be the first channel to stop misusing the word BUILD. Please start using the word ASSEMBLE. IE " Guys tonight on the show we are going to do the assembly of the new", or "The assembly is very easy guys, only 8 screws", or "Thank goodness there is nothing to build on these models, the assembly only takes 10 minutes and 6 screws" Lets all stop misusing the word build, because we ain't building squat. We are assembling beautifully Engineered and in a lot of cases now, very scale models as well. I love them and fly them myself, but I also BUILD scale models from balsa. lite-ply and fiberglass ect ect.... and them paint with epoxy or polyurethane. I love the foam to, like I said just the engineering some of these companies are coming up with, I marvel at for hours. I also spend my money on them and assemble and fly them because they are now that good. In the past not so much. So again, lets quit misusing the word Build, and start using the correct word assemble.Because you have to admit guys that in this society we live in now, if the majority of flyers in the hobby today had to build their models from kit or plans, I'm afraid we would no longer exist except a few hard core people. So remember ASSEMBLE and not BUILD. Thanks Ryan and Mike!!!!!

    This plane is just one more reason why I will never buy another Hangar 9 airplane. Every time they develop a new amazing airplane: They always DISCONTINUE THEM. I hate that. One minor crash, and the plane is GARBAGE, because you cannot get any replacement parts. THAT STINKS !!!!🤢🤮😡
