Woah there Shy, are you forgetting the time that Guiliman got vented into the vacuum of space and proceeded to run around for hours, without a helmet, punching Word Bearers to death? That alone is worth a C tier on the murder scale
Or how about when he was resurrected surrounded by invading Black Legionaires and he just went to work. A murderous, ultraviolent (see what I did there?) rage and stomped em all? How about when he was busy fighting Lorgar and Angron 1 vs. 2 in a murderous rage to claim vengeance for Calth.
My take is that Guilliman is capable of *fantastic* quality and quantity of murder but is generally disinterested in murder or at least sees the necessity for using it as a last resort - but the occasions where he has engaged in murder were pretty impressive. Fear the wrath of a quiet man and all that. Putting him in high C - great potential, some notable feats, but overall not an impressive track record compared to his siblings

Vulkan would show up with a deal of "for every 10 dollars you donate I will do one rep of 100lbe curls shirtless the biggest donator will get this hand made flamer". He would also not understand why people want him shirtless.
You're crazy if you think Khan is waiting for something, he'd have a bunch of bikes in his garage and he'd just hop on another one and get the parts himself.
1:26:33 I want to offer a counterpoint to this. Guilliman is absolutely the type of guy who would spend a month meticulously researching other streamers to see what things appeal to their audiences, perform rigorous SEO and timeslot analysis to get maximum eyes on him, and keep a finger firmly on the pulse of the trends and how to exploit them, so that he'd have maximum viewer engagement for minimum effort and inexplicable success for folks who don't pay as much attention. And then he'd sell a book on how to make it big as a streamer.
There's a new zealand-based streamer that streams doing traditional maori carving and tried to give back sub money because he just wanted to do things for fun.
I imagine Perturabo would also watch every stream if just to throw insults and swears towards Dorn. Also constantly arguing about the optimal strategies and designs.
Sanguinius would always be a regular chatter, just to support his brother. Dorn is running so many mods for added realism the San would find it incomprehensible but still be there for the whole stream.
What if Peturabo was a dramatuber though? Like the primarch version of Keemstar. Hear me out... He's super unlikable and abrasive right? But he's also a tactical and strategic genius. So instead of just being an unlikable, petulant man-child who gets mocked and ridiculed by everyone, he unleashes his petulant, unlikable man-child personality on others and attacks people even more hated than himself, expertly, to get the audience on his side. He is the lord of the siege, so as long as he's attacking and grinding down other ImperialTubers, he'll never lose.
I was thinking he should really be an aircraft, "stealth tank" is kind of a dumb take when Stealth Bomber makes so much more sense. I did not think THAT far though, wow 🤣
I like that Shy was essentially an Ork murder-critic. I think Russ would, as a streamer, launch into stories about something that chat said or something in-game.
Honestly, a tracked, fully-mechanized form of self-propelled trebuchet is so on-par for 40k I an genuinely surprised it hasn’t already been made a thing for guard/chaos armies.
If they go the route of knights having serfs on the field, they should get that. It would fit their flavour better than the WW era guard. Then both loyalists and chaos could field it

I feel like Corax as a Vtuber would stream halo and exclusively kill people by punching them from behind and would be surprisingly good at it. One day inexplicably his model would become super eldritch and he’d spend every stream tracking down whatever lorgar is playing and ruining his day. Anytime Lorgar isn’t online he’d just start doxxing him.
Lion deserves to be in A rank for Shy's Murder Ranking, for no other reason than because he DID in fact nuke Ultramar, he just did it behind Sanguinius and Guilliman's backs. It's the whole reason why he got kicked out of the Imperium Secundus.
Sanguinius would obviously be a close air support gunship, like the AC130. You know, the Angel of Death.(lol) It packs a mean punch and is protective in nature, as well as being loved by soldiers as their "Savior." It just fits.
Streamer/Vtuber/RUclipsr Primarch ideas: -Lion: Climbs the ladders on every fighting game, can't go pro cuz the shit he says keeps scaring off sponsors -Fulgrim: Literally just Mel, but somehow more problematic. -Perturabo: Crafting streams and city-builders, can't stop arguing with his chat, and not in the fun way. -Khan: IRL biking strams. Has a really successful series of car and motorcycle care videos. -Russ: a weird mix of mukbangs, creative writing, and his amateur wrestling matches. Avater is just Blaidd with an axe. -Dorn: city-builders as well, and is constantly stealing viewers from Perturabo. Also does gunpla streams, but only ever does straight builds. -Curze: Banned on all platforms -Sanguinius: Likes Just Chatting. His avater is definitely not Alucard from Castlevania. His female fans keep trying to get him to make an OF page. -Manus: single-handedly revives the old Man At Arms channel. -Angron: Literally just LowTierGod. -Guilliman: No facecam, no model, no overlay. Does a weekly powerpoint about infrastructure and defense economics. Still somehow does numbers. -Mortarion: eats three day bans like they're candy. Somehow has a large NSFW fanbase, but only the really weird tags. -Magnus: TeiflingMelissa but male. Posts a lot on social media about Wicca and crystals. -Horus: Really populer variety streamer. Fell off hard after he started having some *very* bad takes and kept doubling down. -Lorgar: keeps getting invited to collabs despite having some very problematic takes. Friends and fans keeps saying 'you just don't get him' until that one twitlonger drops. -Vulkan: Runs a wholesome Minecraft Creative server. Moonlights in male ASMR. -Corax: posts a bunch of travel pics of where he's been while using a raven plushie as a stand-in. Also the one who released that that one twitlonger about Lorgar. -Alpha/Omega: Twin avatars, but they keep switching whose playing who. Cannot stick to a schedule to save their lives.
I feel like Guilliman would have 2 audiences. One watches him because they're nerdy about the same things as him. The other audience likes listening to him as a form of sleep aid. He releases an audio only vod for them because he thinks it's endearing.
Dorn's Gunpla are screen accurate even if the kit isn't. He'll pause sections of 0079 to get the exact places the Grandaddy got shot and put damage marks there on his model His replica of the Last Shooting is the best anyone's ever seen
1:57:13 In WWII, the Churchill Heavy Tank is one of the most heavily armored vehicles in the Allied arsenal. Critically, though, there is a variant of the Churchill that possesses a flamethrower while also still being able to use its main cannon. As such this is what I’d imagine Vulcan would be as a tank.
For the record, the Khan did have a primarch kill. He killed daemon Mortarion during the siege. He almost died from it, but he got better. And Mortarion got better too, since he’s a daemon. But the Khan still cut his head off and he blew up, so it counts
Konrad would genuinely be an S teir streamer. He has experience in the field as he streamed his entire murder spree, but thats not what we’re going to talk about. He has experience with population sociology. And much like Charles Manson, people dont like him for his personality, but for his ability to control. And trust me, as one of the people who has friends who fall in love with killers, and myself being into the archetype, konrad would be on my second monitor all night long. Hes got stories, hes got experience in true crime, and hed be a killer during colabs, manipulating the conversation FOR THE WORSE. Every conversation with him would turn gory and about some weird topic, maybe even getting into conspiracy and alien territory.
I would say Guilliman should get a boost to his murder score just from The Betrayal at Calth when he got blasted into space from an explosion and was so unfathomably furious he was barehanded pulping Word Bearers without a helmet in pure void for hours before he made it back into breathable atmosphere.
Konrad Kurze Vehicle: A police van. Constructed entirely from bone, flesh, sinew and lifeless, milky eyeballs. With the detainment compartment filled with mutilated corpses. Leaking blood out of its fleshy back doors as it drives around. With a horn that's just a tremendous death scream.
i find it funny both of my favorite primarchs, Kurze and Angron, can be summed up as "had the possibility of being two of the most geniunely good people to be primarchs, next to Sanginius and Vulkan, but thrown in the literal shittiest and most absuive situations those individuals could've been in and it made them two of the most vile primarchs, only fulgrim being one id definitively call worse.

DK lets his dislike of religion blind him. As stated by Shy, he turned human against it's self with words. He has personality and talking power. You don't start 2 massive cults with out being able to entertain the populations.
A correction for Kirioth: Those inflatable tanks weren't decoys for German bombers, but recon planes. To prevent the Germans from figuring out what D-Day's target was, an entire fictional army (including those inflatables, fake radio traffic, and General George Patton) was set up at the ideal location for a staging area for an invasion force intending to cross the narrowest part of the English Channel, directly across from the French town of Calais. It worked, with Hitler ordering substantial redeployments that left several units unable to oppose the landings.
The British used the inflatable tanks like Kirioth described: deployment near the front lines to draw enemy bomber fire. They were very successful at it. Kirioth simply got the army’s nationality confused.
All I can think of with Fulgrim as a Vtuber is his version of Bao's clip when she is "Down Bad for Blaidd". I think a collab between those two would be both awesome and exceptionally cursed
Guiliman turned from D to Solid A in the past over the long years to me. Not only he has character, the fact that hes comparatively the most humble of all of them and now has the gigantic task to do the impossible and save the Imperium, and honestly hes the best choice of them all. Its like dying splinter asking Leonardo to help his brothers. Seems like nobody likes Leo, but we always fall back on them.
The other Primarchs are playing Souls-likes and Bethesda games on Legendary difficulty and the enemies are endless. Guilliman is playing the worst game of Civ that he inherited after 100 people each put 100 hours of bad decisions into the playthrough and now he has to deal with it. He doesn't just need to repel constant war, he also needs to fix and respec nearly every asset he has because someone else either didn't notice or didn't care that it's spec'd stupidly.
Strongly disagree with Bricky on Horus' evaluation! We dont see his childhood, but we see him at his highest highs (Triumpf of Ullanor) and his lowest lows (Atrocity of Istvaan V, "then let the galaxy burn") peaking in the final confrontation with Big E and Horus' realization during the End and the Death. I understand Shys argument, that we have not seen his rise to power, we have not seen his heros journey so to say, but since we started with him at his highest, we witnessed his downfall in detail, including the madness that took the galaxy in its wake. In short: After his promotion to Warmaster, he had nothing left to gain (last substantial enemy that could threaten the Imperium was crushed, probably the reason for Big Es timing to leave), but still all to loose (quite emberrassing to loose against the trash leftover enemies now that daddys gone, oh and any failure falls back to you since youre in charge of all fighting in the galaxy basically). Picture being promoted at your job with all the extra work and none of the benefits. And as icing on top: all of your previous coworking bros now hate you because daddy put you above them. Highly recommend the first trilogy of the Horus Heresy series as well as the last trilogy of the Siege of Terra series, i dont believe you would find him dull after that. :)
The boys questioning Sanguinius' S tier murder potential while he solo'd a warlord titan and made its warhound escorts flee in fear during the siege of terra is kind of on point. Don't mansplain Shy when it comes to murder.
As a lifelong Perturabo stan, PLEASE read Angel Exterminatus for the book club. You get lots of fantastic Perturabo bits in addition to lots of Fulgrim, plus their legions interacting. Great book, and features lots of my favorite boy.
Got to agree that Sanguinius is S-tier on the Shy-Murder scale. Yes, he tried to bring some culture to his Legion, but that was largely to stop them snacking on people. But he also: 1. Cut the head off a Reaver titan, because he didn't like the "message" it was delivering 2. Solo-ed a Warlord, and then dared 3 Warhound titans to come and have a go if they thought they were hard enough 3. Made a comeback by having a rematch with Bloodthirster Ka'Bandha, and broke it's back 4. Ripped the Butcher's Nails out of Angron's head causing it to explode, while he was still impaled on Angron's sword And he's also responsible, indirectly, for the Black Rage, and all the people torn to bit by this legion in the grip of it.
The Khan injustice for the murder tierlist is real but understandable cause Shys a Ork fan he easily should be S tier. To quote " But by then, the Khan himself was almost invisible, hidden behind a curtain of severed flesh and thrown blood, a primordial force burning through the xenos tanks, inviolable and darkly magnificent. For the first time that entire campaign, the greenskins tried to run, to scramble away from the hungering devil that raced to devour them....." the Khan cuts down a large swath of an army as well as a warboss by himself and they never even landed a blow on him. He murdered them and walked back to his sons covered in gore like it was another tuesday.
1:03:01 Rimworld is literally referred to by the informal name of "Space Cannibalism Simulator." That's basically just a description of Kurze's childhood.
To the Battleship movie, I love watching that movie as a case of a bunch of crashed astoroid miners that can't catch a break. "COMMANDER THEY'RE SIGNALING THE FLEET!" "H'THOG, THEY'RE TRYING TO BLOW-UP THE DESTRESS BECON!"
To be fair, I didn't know he did that, and I'm shocked to hear that the Warp jump incident happened before the Siege of Terra. I'd always thought it was right afterward.
@@minibotas9496 I mean there's a bunch, but idk why would you be surprised at not knowing something from a book, if you haven't read the said book lmao.
I feel like the fact that bricky and dk haven’t read a lot of heresy books affects their judgements a fair amount. Like if bricky had read scars, path of heaven, buried dagger and Warhawk he’d place khan and mortarion a lot higher. Not that deep though, still enjoyed the episode
The Khan honestly is a S tier Primarch due to his characterization from his books and the SOT. He banished Mortarion and was able to prove his point, he had to endure the loss of his closest friends, ponder the nature of the War and if the Emperor is even the right choice, and was an underrated bringer of Morale to the Loyalists.
Yeah the bit with Magnus and that whole talk is still the most emotional thing in 40k for me the close second being the loss of Yesugai. He has amazing quotes but they're not just amazing quotes they're amazing characterization too. Like him dressing Mortarion down and being RIGHT on the money about every last thing he said. The fact he did reasonably criticize the Imperial Truth and how he felt about and respected psykers and the use of the warp as just something to be careful with. He doesn't have any major faults or big trauma to speak of beyond like his dad dying and him getting mad but I don't think you need the same level of trauma so many primarchs have going on to be interesting and deserving of S tier. Bricky saying we just need to see how he handles conflict more when most of the lore IS him dealing with conflicting alliances is bonkers to me.
@@Pragabond Chris Wraight understood perfectly that Jaghatai needed to be a straight man of sorts when compared to his brothers. You said it perfectly when it came to his conflict, it’s not about melodrama or issues, for the Khan it’s about the nature of Inaction vs Action. When he was at the trial for one of the White Scars who sided with Horus, the tension and conflict in that scene wasn’t about betrayal and traitor sons, but about honor vs integrity. The moral conflict of sons who wanted to please their father and made an irrational vow doing so. I’ll say it anyday of the week, but the Khan is S-tier because he’s the Primarch who sits and thinks about causes, effects, and the emotions in a situation, but is also the first one to rush into battle when there is good to be done. I love Vulkan, and his character is meant to be the “gentle giant who bears the great burden”, while the Khan is the “wise and honest Warlord”
I think giving Fulgrim S-tier for murder of primarchs is kinda generous, cos only one of those actually died, which only leaves one Ferus, while Leman Russ (supposedly) killed two primarchs. Also, Khan would be great at speedruns.
Listening to Bricky about Mortarion,Horus, and especially Jaghatai Khan makes me wonder how many of the Horus Heresy novels he has actually read. Cause The Buried Dagger made me like Mortarion, multiple HH and Siege books made Horus interesting especially Horus Rising, and all of the white scars books actually put Jaghatai from off my radar to like tied for favorite Primarch but I dont want to paint white.
I agree, INTENSELY. Bricky's opinion of Horus is way off, to the point where I'm pretty sure he's only speed-read the wiki page for him, instead of the books that show very clearly how good his downfall is.
"Sanguinius doesnt like murder" ... What? Do people forget that there was a reason Kabanda REALLY wanted the blood angels?. They were absolutely murderous. To anyone curious i recommend looking up the Burning of Anahktor.
I thought the blood angels where the legion khorne wanted. Before sanguinius they were raging psychopaths that almost got wiped out by the emperor. After they were slowly decaying bombs of blood thirsty nightmares
Then the depression hit again when his bodyguard went, "Was that supposed to be a joke?" Realizing no one knows him for anything other than being blueberry boy scout taxman
Fulgrim didnt kill Perturabo, he drained him to attempt to become a demon primarch but had his plans ruined by some random iron hands and 1 ravenguard. Perturabo gets restored and then kills fulgrim, who turns into a demon anyways. Perturabo doesnt turn into a demon before the siege of terra. This is all in Angel Exterminatus.
I hope they retcon it so vashtorr is the one who ascends perty. It just fits so well and takes away from of the narrative dissatisfaction of having him fall fully to chaos even though he can't stand them
I know AdRic is all about entertainment before facts, but I’m getting reaaaally tired of them (and a lot of other 40k fans, mind you) peddling this “All it took for Horus to fall was being stabbed by a stupid poisoned knife” narrative, because that’s an idiotic simplification of what happened. That would be like saying Anakin betrayed the Jedi because he wasn’t getting enough sleep. What actually caused Horus to turn wasn’t the stabbing in and of itself, but rather the visions he saw during his coma, courtesy of Erebus, which in turn wouldn’t have influenced him this much if he didn’t already have nagging doubts about his father’s intentions. Horus still was badly underwritten for being the eponymous engineer of the Heresy, but let’s not make it any worse by lying, okay? Since I mentioned Star Wars before, if you want an actual stupid case of “Virtuous warrior gets stabbed by evil knife and is now evil because of the evil poison,” look no further than Ulic Qel-Droma, an ancient Jedi knight who was captured by some stupid frat siblings who thought the dark side was cool and was stabbed with a special knife that immediately made him evil. One of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen, even including the sequel movies.
I feel ya. I actually unsubscribed from these guys for a while because of how often they seem to prioritize "entertainment" above conveying actual lore. And I'm thoroughly convinced Bricky is no where near the lore-expert he claims to be. He might know a fair bit, but he stumbles over basic lore often enough and some of his opinions are just questionable at best... Reeking of ignorance and/or personal-biases at worse.
Bricky's opinion on Horus does such a disservice to his arc throughout the heresy. Horus LITERALLY SAW THE GRIM DARK FUTURE, saw that all of his work would be in vain, and saw the Emperor's Indifference and hypocrisy AT ITS ZENITH, when the Primarchs were scattered by the chaos gods. He saw the inherent selfishness of the Emperor's actions, and why at every point the Emperor was so vain and untrusting. Every practical reason to turn against the Emperor was presented to Horus, and yet Bricky blames it all on the dagger? Seriously, WTF. If it turns out that Bricky hasn't read any of the Heresy novels, even the genuinely credible/good ones, I would honestly not be surprised at this point.
Guilliman is the kind of streamer that would be like, really efficient and successful (heavily supported/promoted) but his content would just be a stream of the game, minimal commentary. Good for the people that would want to watch for the sake of the game rather than the player
Transformers fan doing "if Primarchs were Transformers". Knowing that Transformers can turn into literally anything, not just tanks/guns. Lion El'Jonson: A lot of knightly Transformers turn into armored dragons. An aire of civility that can turn savage in an instant. Fulgrim: There are actual snake Transformers like Colada from Beast Wars Neo. Mecha-snake. No brainer. Purturabo: He's just Brawl (tank) from the 07 Michael Bay movie. Down to the wrist-mounted guns in robot mode. Can't argue with Kirioth. Jaghatai Khan: It would be a crime for him to be anything other than a bike. Would go with something like Autobot Road Rocket for more speed. Leman Russ: Couple of wolf Transformers to choose from. Weirdwolf's design comes with a sword for him too. Rogal Dorn: Another obvious choice for a tank, but anything with an armored focus will do. Armored truck. Rhino if you want a beast mode. Konrad Curze: How can Mr. Angsty Batman be anything other than a bat? The other bat Transformers I know are just as emo as he is. Sanguinius: Well, I already gave Curze the bat mode, so what's left for the vampire? I guess a jet would work too. Ferrus Manus: Okay, tech-based weaponsmith. Most of those are just Autobot cars, but that's boring. Just like Ferrus, though, so it works. Angron: He needs to be an apex predator. I'm thinking T-Rex or a more demonic styled dragon like Beast Wars Megatron. Roboute Guilliman: He's got to be a triple-changer for Ultramarine versatility with one mode as a truck to take part in logistics. Mortarion: I'm thinking a spider-mode since Tarantulas is the only Transformer I can think of dealing in poison and bio-warfare. Magnus the Red: Needs to have a bird mode for Tzeentch. Sadly, no Transformers partake in sorcery outside of a Quintesson called the Red Wizard. Horus: What mode for our true Megatron analog? A tank feels too mundane. Straight up Gun-Megatron maybe? How about the planet-sized "Chaos Bringer" himself, Unicron? Lorgar: The only Transformer I know who tried to preach a religion is Scoop, but I don't know if construction equipment works for Lorgar. Maybe a mind control specialist like Bombshell or Mindwipe. That would make him either an insect or another bat. Going with insect for variety. Vulkan: I want him to be a fire truck so he can focus on saving civilians. Plain and simple. Corvus Corax: Stealth fighter jet. He could be a bird too, but a stealth jet just seems to fit more. Alpharius and Omegon: I'm picturing them as the Decepticon clones Pounce and Wingspan that have identical robot modes with different transformations. The best part of this list is that since I used actual Transformers for most of my examples, a customizer could make these into real toys.

Streamer/Vtuber/RUclipsr Primarch ideas:
-Lion: Climbs the ladders on every fighting game, can't go pro cuz the shit he says keeps scaring off sponsors
-Fulgrim: Literally just Mel, but somehow more problematic.
-Curze: Banned on all platforms
-Sanguinius: Likes Just Chatting.

Well if we're bringing up bao, and specifically her reaction to blaidd, i think she would also need to collab with 40k's own wolf boy.

Got to agree that Sanguinius is S-tier on the Shy-Murder scale. Yes, he tried to bring some culture to his Legion, but that was largely to stop them snacking on people.
But he also:
1. Cut the head off a Reaver titan, because he didn't like the "message" it was delivering
2. Solo-ed a Warlord, and then dared 3 Warhound titans to come and have a go if they thought they were hard enough
3. Made a comeback by having a rematch with Bloodthirster Ka'Bandha, and broke it's back
4. Ripped the Butcher's Nails out of Angron's head causing it to explode, while he was still impaled on Angron's sword
And he's also responsible, indirectly, for the Black Rage, and all the people torn to bit by this legion in the grip of it.
Oh come on! With Perturabo, we cant forget "Ive got you, brother! No harm shall befall you, or your magnificent hair!"

Not that deep though, still enjoyed the episode
Dk’s line of “what if he landed on ultramar” cracks me up cause he technically did
The Khan honestly is a S tier Primarch due to his characterization from his books and the SOT.
Guilliman would be a techer-streamer working on excel all day and being fkin excited about it and also stoic as shit

I agree, INTENSELY. Bricky's opinion of Horus is way off, to the point where I'm pretty sure he's only speed-read the wiki page for him, instead of the books that show very clearly how good his downfall is.

Facts!
I hope they retcon it so vashtorr is the one who ascends perty. It just fits so well and takes away from of the narrative dissatisfaction of having him fall fully to chaos even though he can't stand them
Magnus’ chat being like Bricky’s makes sense. Magnus lost an eye and it opened up all that real estate for more forehead.

Lorgar’s less of a streamer, and more of a televangelist.
The Lion would transform into just a sword, like Megatron in comics did into a pistol.
He did that in the original toy too! They stopped doing that due to kids safety regulations!

Purturabo is now furious that Dorn is next to him.
19:41 it is my SECOND episode and I gotta say… I’m sold off of that mistake alone
