I started doing burpees a little over a month ago and Im blown away by how quickly I’m noticing improvements. I am about 30 pounds overweight for my height and age. Barely get any exercise other than the I do walking at work. On day 1 I could barely do 3 whole burpees at a time without feeling like I was going to die. My first set I did 5. Then through the day I did two more sets of 5. These were super modified. I couldn’t jump back into the plank position, nor could I jump back up from plank position. I had to move one leg down and then back up at a time. I practice every other day. By the end of week 2 I was able to do 6 sets of 5 power burpees in just 6 minutes. By the end of week 3 I was able to jump my body to and from the plank position. By week 4 I was adding the downward motion to my burpee and going all the way down. It only took me 4 weeks to do a “real” burpee and I’m so proud of myself. I can really feel a difference in my physical health. I’m much less winded carrying groceries up to my 2nd story apartment and I can squat like a champ with heavy boxes at work 🤣
Just curious. I started burpees last week and i do 10 burpees in a minute then rest a minute. Up to 150 now. Ive already noticed an increase in strength and more endurance in running. Is this all in my head or are the results that fast? Just wondering how yours went

To anyone looking to get into burpees or military fitness in general, I'd recommend checking out Iron Wolf. I know a lot of people will hate me, including perhaps Iron Wolf himself, for writing another channel's name on the comment section of another channel, BUT personally his videos and his programming (workouts) have changed my life for the better. I decided to take the challenge and I am so glad I did and also watching this video pushed me to continue my burpees and now they are part of my everyday workout. I love them because they challenge me and plus I have added some dumbbells now to push myself. Amazing video! 1. They target all your muscle groups!! VERY CONVENIENT also for appearance 2. Makes you stronger.. help u reach weight loss goals and prepare you for everything and anything. You’ll be a fucken beast. Reaction time, endurance, cordination etc... 3. Improves heart health. Improves cholesterol. Having a good cardiovascular system makes you a beast in the bed too so 100 burpees = 100 nuts. 4. Aids weight loss. Makes you lean, aids fat loss in the sense of burning A LOT OF CALORIES. 500 calories burnt daily makes u lose minimum one pound a week depending on diet and thats JUST BURPEES! 5. Endurance in the streets, the sheets, and for everything and everyday stuff. 6. Strengthens core n makes you very agile
So I do either of the routines of Burpees and/or Strength Exercises. I like to refer burpees as active method and strength as progresive. Burpees burn more calories and quick to lose fat in matter of time. Alternative to doing burpees is to sprint. The strength on the other hand you must do the following exercise consisting; push-ups/dips, pull-ups/rows, plank, squat, running/aqatic skills, and lifting. Therefore using progressive methods to burn calories in simplicity plus the progression.
Been doing 50 burpees every day for 8 months now, and I love it. But I'm starting to notice a weird feeling in my knees. I don't know if it's because I'm squatting too low or if I'm jumping too high and landing with too much impact.
I just started burpees 30 days challenge and today was my 3rd day. Hope I will loose some of my belly fat and will gain strength at the end of the month. Really excited about it.
Thank’s man, I do bar calisthenics, burpees, jump rope and boxing. I don’t lift heavy weights for years now. Hopefully HIIT will increase my stamina more.

Warning for beginners you can start from 30 to 50 burpess a day depending on your strength, when i did 50 burpees first time after years, my body was so sore for next 3 days that i almost had fever😂 and felt like some one beat me with sticks, but hey i kept going, start your first days when you have next couple of days off so you be sore at home and relax , do 2 to 3 days each week at beginning then increase a days every week
Right On!!! Take this from experience with burpees. I have been to jail many times and this is the main exercise. You will grow and get strong but once you stop or take long breaks. For some reason burpees muscle leaves fast.
before the lockdown i was doing 100 as a finisher with a 20kg weighted vest (sets of 5) and 200 kettlbell swings @ 28kg (and sets of 10)- was a finisher to part of my gym routine.. :)
I remember when I used to do 100 burpees within 10 minutes and I remember how my head used to spin after that, I literally hated this part but it was the most helpful exercise to strengthen my upper as well as lower body along with my abdomen...
If you do burpees every day, you will have athletic look. Period. Don't do same repetition every time, your body will get used to of it & then no special effect. Do with variations (including push up, mountain climbers & similar stuff). Any one can do 100 burpees each day. Start from 5-10 on day 1 & then increase with each next day.
A lot of people don’t crouch down and then kick legs back into plank position, they just bend at the waist to reach the floor which is easier I reckon.
Set a timer and go at it.. go till failure, rest 30, hit again... build from 5 minutes, 10,15 and so forth . That's a challenge. An hour would be insane!

I used to get super out of breath and winded within 5 reps but I kept doing them everyday regardless and now they have gotten much easier. I still won't do more than 20 but it does get easier.
I’m thinking about starting this workout. God be with me 😀
Good luck to all people that will do them, you'll need it
Nothing to do with luck here.
I used to hate them. Didn't want to Burpees ever but then I saw Chris heria and big boy doing explosive Burpees. It looked so awesome and now my Discord name and game names is Explosive Burpees cause I love doing them alot.
Good luck to all those that don't do it or any exercises..You will need to see the doctor soon.😭😭😭😭
During the pandemic, I promised myself to do 100 burpees a day for a month and a half, it was the best decision I could have done. My doctor wanted to give me medicine for depression and I put it in the trash after I read one of the first side effects was insomnia, and other side effects. I decided to take the challenge and I am so glad I did and also watching this video pushed me to continue my burpees and now they are part of my everyday workout. I love them because they challenge me and plus I have added some dumbbells now to push myself. Amazing video! Thank you for the awesome video! 5 stars for your and I continue to come back to it to keep doing my burpees for sure.
Glad it was helpful! Thank You for liking Our Video!
Dang, workout can really help with depression
I did 100 burpees in 8:05, I was trying to get under 8:00 minutes. I usually do 5 burpees after each of my 10 sprints also. I’ve grown to love em
I did 100 in 7minutes yesterday, best was 6.07 minutes
Started burpees recently in the lockdown. Worked it up to 71 burpees , all in many sets. Feels good. Gonna increase the count.
Saumitra Gautam did you loose any weight?
@@manshisukhadiya7182 For losing weight you need to fix your diet as well
@@N.Kishore You can still lose but not as much. I lost a good amount of weight doing burpees without changing my diet.
Wow I always wondered how effective these were. I'm in my 40s working 2 jobs and in ministry and whole lot more responsibilities on top of that and trying to figure out when to get time in for my body. That you for this information. 🙏💙
Iron Wolf "short card" work out 12min. long never been in better shape.
AKA Bends and Thrusts. I did them everyday for three months. Jan 13 to Apr 14, 1976 USMC MCRD San Diego
Tom Meyer Yeah! USMC 0311
I question whether this guy has ever done burpees. Anyone who has would never be this excited about them 😂

I love burpees
The one stop shopping of physical activity? Can fulfill all those needs? Who needs isolation muscular training.
Burpees, jumping jacks, kettle bell swing with pull up, chin ups and you’ll see a big difference in a year maybe add in squats for good measure
Yes I hav started doing burpees and within 5 dyas i can see my posture and strength i can feel it ,,,
I do Navy seals ,every 2nd day , range between 50 and 100 reps ...Amazing exercise ! And it works !
I have been doing at least 100 burpee every single day for the last 50 days, and plan to keep on it indefinitely
Same here. On 56 day. All on my channel
I'm starting to do it, I'll try to do a lil bit every day.
Burpees n Jump Rope best workout for lockdown
That’s all I did
That’s what I’m doing now. It’s so effective and fun
Face Man how much weight have you lost? And in how many days?
So I do either of the routines of Burpees and/or Strength Exercises. I like to refer burpees as active method and strength as progresive. Burpees burn more calories and quick to lose fat in matter of time. Alternative to doing burpees is to sprint.
The strength on the other hand you must do the following exercise consisting; push-ups/dips, pull-ups/rows, plank, squat, running/aqatic skills, and lifting. Therefore using progressive methods to burn calories in simplicity plus the progression.
i hate doing them but i hate those love handles even more. its a process but i see results which is nice
Been doing 50 burpees every day for 8 months now, and I love it. But I'm starting to notice a weird feeling in my knees. I don't know if it's because I'm squatting too low or if I'm jumping too high and landing with too much impact.
I read a comment above and the guy said to make sure you land softly when coming down🙂
Don’t jump
Do sled pulls while walking backwards
You should be fine
I just started burpees 30 days challenge and today was my 3rd day. Hope I will loose some of my belly fat and will gain strength at the end of the month. Really excited about it.
Long way to go! All the best 👍🏻
I feel like crying everytime I do burpees
Are you really ?
Your fats are crying.
I did feel like that when I started but now feel better and full of energy.
Take your time
Good.
Very effective exercise for entire body, I m doing it in lockdown .just wow
Yeah iron wolf has posted the 100,200,500 burpee challenge starting from 1 st of July. I am on my third day of 100 burpee.Burpees are great.
I’ve started doing burpees everyday, now I’m a millionaire
Burpees provide a great ROI
Thank’s man, I do bar calisthenics, burpees, jump rope and boxing. I don’t lift heavy weights for years now. Hopefully HIIT will increase my stamina more.
Usually I prepare pull up and push ups and following these routine for more than a month.. But now I'm gonna add this too.TnQ for this video 👍
Keep it up
I remember the good days when I used to do 113 sets of burpees (5 push ups per set) in Pelican Bay...
113 I see you in la eme
Is that some kind of fitness result?
Lol
Did Denzel from Training day send you there?
123
I am 73 years old, 5ft 7in tall and my weight is 185 pounds. I'll do burpees for a month, beginning today (October 10th, 2020) and let's see what happens. Of course I must start with only ten burpees daily , hoping to improve week by week.
Congrats Man for that...AND how did It go?
@@goldman1saza73 I had terrible cramps (charley horse crumps) every day until I stopped. I'll return to it, starting with two burpees a day and increasing the number of burpees VERY SLOY.
Just found you. Just starting. At 6'2" in a low ceiling log home. Each time I walk past the staircase leading to the second floor I do push-ups by putting my hands on the 4th step then commence 25 push-ups doing about 125-150 of these daily. Gotta start somewhere.
I really love it.... Bfre i was 78kg.. Now im 61 kg.... Thank you
Yeah like after 58 minutes after the video being released.
Wow..that is amazing...

@@eli463 BIG TIME ! my kids get tired before i do when were out running around . My legs have gotten alot stronger too. Im going on 7 months now n im not planning on stopping !
@@MAJR1911 that’s good bro I’m glad to hear💯🙏🏻
How many a day?
@@dockcom i started with 100 a day but would do 50 then rest for a little bit then did the other 50 . it all depends on u and ur fitness level but stay consistent and youll be hitting 100 n not getti g tires in no time !!
God Willing, I'll try later 🙏☺️
I can't do the jump at the end due to the shock on my spine coming down as I have back issues. Will they still help ? Jump less burpee ?
Warning for beginners you can start from 30 to 50 burpess a day depending on your strength, when i did 50 burpees first time after years, my body was so sore for next 3 days that i almost had fever😂 and felt like some one beat me with sticks, but hey i kept going, start your first days when you have next couple of days off so you be sore at home and relax , do 2 to 3 days each week at beginning then increase a days every week
Did 75 navy seal burpees yesterday. Will try 100 in a row next week. Woowee feelin great and sleeping well
I did 10 sets of 10 reps last Friday and that was a killer.
Right On!!! Take this from experience with burpees. I have been to jail many times and this is the main exercise. You will grow and get strong but once you stop or take long breaks. For some reason burpees muscle leaves fast.
Ikr. I realize it. I did burpees for a minute in half and now when I took a break I can’t even do 30 seconds .
I’ve started doing burpee’s and already seeing a difference,,what would people say is the best diet or type of food to eat to lose belly fat
In my life time 54 years I did 6 and I thought that I was going to die I hope to be doing a 100 in two months
58 yrs. I started at 10 in May. Do over 100 now. Just adding a few each time.
😂😂I did it in the military and thought I was going to die also
started doing burpees 2 days ago after watching your video, right i can do 10 burpees 5 repetitions
I burpees alot, 3 times a week. Did a month straight of 100 to 275 a day...killer workout. All with pushups
I just started with 5 per night and I want to increase up one per week 6,7 8 etc. These are killer! Damn I'm out of shape. 😔
The most harder part the begining! Good Decision mate! Keep goind always will be better and come wit benefits! 🦍👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
before the lockdown i was doing 100 as a finisher with a 20kg weighted vest (sets of 5) and 200 kettlbell swings @ 28kg (and sets of 10)- was a finisher to part of my gym routine.. :)
how good is doing 5 burpees everytime you use the bathroom "including showers"? I do a jumping jack after a burpee instead of just jumping
Ok i will add it in my daily excercise
I do Burpees every 2nd day
I also do military burpees
Holywood burpees
Lunge burpees
Push up burpees
I can see and feel a difference
I remember when I used to do 100 burpees within 10 minutes and I remember how my head used to spin after that, I literally hated this part but it was the most helpful exercise to strengthen my upper as well as lower body along with my abdomen...
That’s the best part, that feeling is better then cigarettes
its a good exercise fot calisthenics, dancer's, footballers and every human being
Burpees and quarantine like peanut butter and jelly.
An American thing?
If you do burpees every day, you will have athletic look. Period. Don't do same repetition every time, your body will get used to of it & then no special effect. Do with variations (including push up, mountain climbers & similar stuff). Any one can do 100 burpees each day. Start from 5-10 on day 1 & then increase with each next day.
Thanks for the tip
A lot of people don’t crouch down and then kick legs back into plank position, they just bend at the waist to reach the floor which is easier I reckon.
I do at least 40 burpees a day as warm up exercise for my CrossFit training
Set a timer and go at it.. go till failure, rest 30, hit again... build from 5 minutes, 10,15 and so forth . That's a challenge. An hour would be insane!
