Just playing through Half Life 2 for the first time atm and I've just gone through this section and am ready to cross through the graveyard. Bloody hell the stress of those bloody venomous spider things!! I kept falling from the ledges and having to deal with them again. Game kind of shows its age I guess for how often you get caught on seemingly invisible objects and walls
I played it for the first time earlier this year, I'm always glad there are other people like me not letting pesky things like "time" dictate what games to play.
@@samueldesmond440 some games are just timeless, same as movies. I've gone back and played the original sonic on my master system I got when I was 5 umpteen times. Mario 64 gets sporadic revisits. Far Cry 3, tomb raider, the uncharted series... loads. New and old games all get a look in with me
@samueledwards4740 I bought Half Life on the PS2 for a mate recently for his bday and he is yet to get anywhere with it but I've dipped in and had a go. I'm tempted to go back to it before playing through HL2 again but am proper looking forward to it either way. It'll be a different experience on the second go
@@luckyducky7819 yeah the demo i got it in had gene troopers and painkiller hell wars , it was a lower resolution , but the retail version had the full game

I still remember running to that abandoned house on the coast and finding 2-3 poison headcrabs and a poison headcrab zombie locked away in a tiny room, i jumped on the walls and tried to escape while screaming like a little girl while those disgusting creatures tried to kill me, but never again, f that house im never gonna go there again!
Waiting for the elevator was the scariest part of the entire game. That and the one that pops out of the pipe at the top of the cliff at the end of Sandtraps.
That thing gave me a good scare and i think that HL 1 has a similar scare after you are done climbing on the canyon walls and you have to crouch down in to a small pipe and then a headcrab fill fly directly against your face!
Im going to be honest ravenholm is really fucking scary i dont like playing ravenholm. I am extremly paranoid that something goinna attack me and i have those fucking long legged headcrabs, they are so terryfing and they stress me out

That is exactly how I felt when I saw the fast zombies for the first time.
First time i saw Ravenholm i quit the game, took me awhile to get the courage to finish that level.
