Thanks for the share. I love your paintings. Ive been painting for many decades and never did anything with it as far as selling etc. However, I started teaching private art groups in my home just over a year and really enjoy it. But, I feel that I've let myself down as far as creating beautiful works that could possible sell. Im too old and tired to take up the stress of that game. I see all my beautiful paintings in my house and wonder what will ever become of them, At the time, it was the journey to paint them and loved it all. Thanks for sharing

When you were trying to determine initially the color that the wall should be in the painting with the yellow collage daisies, all I could see was the color of your fingernails and thinking wouldn't that be lovely! Now I'm not quite finished with the video, so maybe there will be a reveal at the end!🤔🌺🙋♀️

The very very best of good luck at the art show, if I lived closer I would come take a look but East Gippsland is a bit too far for a day trip.

Oh Diane... a style sneaks up on us sometimes when we're not looking. and... remember I've been painting for 24+ years... I also get tired of things and want to push through to renew my 'style' along the way too. We are ever changing. x
I love these paintings! I think it's wise to vary the colors a bit when you're selling your work. People have different color schemes in their houses. Gives them a choice.
Beautiful artwork I think they are gorgeous promise you didn't need shadows some artwork don't do shadow's it's lovely ❤❤ you darling dog and the birds ❤❤❤❤
Hi Denise, from Brisbane… I love this video, and your thought process and paintings, and the magpies. Shadows: Warm painting, cool shadows. Cool painting, warm shadows, is the general rule. I guess that would make the foreground pop out and background retract. Purple or blue are often used as shadows. Noni. x

They are really unique and amazing. I think if they were large they would be great for staging houses. Or journal covers etc. Just a thought. As for your stress - hand your worry to Jesus and then wait. He sometimes answers in unexpected ways.

When I can’t open paint tubes or jars I run hot water over them. I love your painting.

@@DeniseDaffara I heard an artist on youtube say she puts Vaseline around the tops of the paint tubes or jars, it makes them easy to unto.
