I appreciate that you shared your process and your journey and also that you acknowledge the artists who inspired you. Loved your sketchbook work.
I loved watching this process and you have inspired me out of my art funk ! I love your use of colour and space . Thank you so much for sharing. Your work is phenomenal !
Thank you Clair for showing us your sketchbook, so inspiring and great talk through too. ❤
Great to see you back Claire, love your journal play. It's inspiring to watch other artists grow and play.❤ Looking forward to seeing more of your videos during the year, happy 2024 to you.
Hi Clair! Thanks so much for the shoutout! ❤️❤️❤️ Your colors are amazing! 😍
You are so welcome!
Lovely sensitive works in your journal. Very inspiring.
Your art and videos are wonderful and amazing and I’m so excited to try some of these techniques. I’m just kind of sick of what I’ve been doing and I need a new direction. Thank you so much for sharing all your stuff!
I also learned grid journaling from kellee Wynne. And like you, I struggled with the mini size so I stopped doing it. But I'll try the larger size and see how it goes. Your work is so inspirational ❤
You might like Betty Frank's artwork too 😊 she is more into mark making & abstract but beautiful colours 😊
Fascinating! Thank you for sharing!
Love the artists you recommended. Especially Jenny Grevatte! Her nocturnes are awesome. Thanks!!
Really nice 👌
I love your Colors and style, I want to be your best friend ❤️😅... Lol
Such a great tip, love everything you painted!❤
really lovely, colors, energy, happy eyes. been reusing tape as part of other collages in a junk journal along with colorful used paper towels ( textured paint splotches)...you got me going again, ty.
This video is so inspiring, it's great to see who inspired you and what you made from that. Thanks for such a wonderful, artsy video.
Thanks for a good video. I spent most of last year just creating in my journals (& making the actual journals themselves) and I've really felt my work has progressed so much because of them. I think as working artists we can just spend so much time trying to paint pieces to sell that we can forget to just create for creating's sake.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and process with us. I love your paintings and the color palettes you choose. I also appreciate you crediting the other artists that have inspired you recently so I can check them out also. I had forgotten how much I love working in grids; I have one journal dedicated to them and I plan to work in it today.
Yaay..so fun. Nice to see you again.the peaces was awsome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Clair, Just wanted to say thank you for sharing. I’m inspired and ready for a more positive and productive year. Happy 2024.
Love, love, love the work in your sketchbook. Very inspirational. I'm a beginner and enjoy seeing different art ideas. Thanks. 🙂👍
The blue ones are absolutely stunning!!
Thank you for sharing, your sketchbook is amazing! When I try these grids I just end up with a whole bunch of mess 😃 You inspired me to try again!
Thank you, this is terrific. Your work is wonderful & inspires! Happy & healthy New Year to you.
This is a great idea-I’ve done something similar in watercolor, plopping down some background shapes to begin with, but waiting until they dry to play around with them. It’s a no commitment way to get back in the swing of things… just putting the damned color down can sometimes spark something in your brain, and then you look forward to going back to it for…whatever reason! I love your work-it’s absolutely wonderful. Will you be doing a painting class trip this year (2024)? And, Jenny Gravette’s work is wonderful, btw.
Fantastic - love this so much!!! would love to hear from you more often - you are an amazing artist and such an inspiration!!!❤
Your colours are really lovely.
I love this. I’m going to do this.
Welcome back. Watching your you tube video now in Santa fe, NM, USA

Hi Clair, this is one of my favourite exercises too, picked up a few more tips from this video as well 😊
Do you know „Yeates makes“ here on YT? He does the most amazing things on the gel plate, totally mindblowing. I have never seen anything like it!!
Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing. What brand of tape are you using?
❤
very inspiring! these tapes you used here are the regular masking tape? or painting tape?
Just regular masking tape
Hello clear Brammer..I love you painting. I want to be ask one question you painting on canvas or paper .can paint on cathdrige paper and can I tone paper or canvas with Grey Colour
Thank you, it's just an amazing project! Loved it! What is jellied tissue paper, I wonder? Thanks.
I have used a Gelli Press to print my own textures and colours onto tissue paper. ☺️ It's a type of printmaking
Wet strength tissue paper and deli papers are great on the gelli plate. ❤
It was so enjoyable to see your process when making your grid minis, and I think (not an expert here or anything, and not that you need any validation at all 🙃), they are aesthetically pleasing just as they are. It is fascinating to see what your current work looks like vs what happens when you venture into abstraction. Also, kudos to you for citing other artists as your jumping-off point (i.e. saying “inspired by XYZ”) rather than just producing something without giving credit. It may be that no one would have realized, but….without getting too much into ethics and stuff…it just seems like the nice/right thing to do. Thank you for making videos and sharing your creativity! I hope your year is off to a fabulous start!
Why not just cut those pages you love out of your sketch book and place them together on a different surface and meld them into a whole? ie: paste them side by side on a board?😮😂
