I tend to say that Sharons eyegame in this video,is completely unmatched in the genre. And that says alot,as im a complete Floor Jansen softie and biased admirer lol. Also a massive funfact: Sharon is completely self taught in regards to singing,she has never had vocal lessons. The more you hear of her,the more impressive that fact will become to you. She is quite versatile in her vocals,although she doesnt really growl or scream like many of her fellow female fronted band vocalists does.
Within Temptation never disappoints. My favourite moment was discovering their Black Symphony concert a while ago, have watched it about 20 times since 😄 Definitely keep going on this journey! My suggestion would be to check out their latest song "Don't Pray For Me", it is quintessential Within Temptation. "The Promise" at Black Symphony is also great if you want more of that energy!

There is a great video of this played over footage of the Isle of Mann TT motorcycle racing. Rely fits the bill. As someone has said Paradise, which feat Tarja, is a great video. Angels is another great video. They are certainly top notch when it comes to videos.
In 2010 I was suffering from some results from a head injury, Which became very stressful and caused the anxiety to form because I did not know if I would get better or how long it would take... I found healing and music which I had been away from for a while in the form of 10 year old Jackie evancho America's got talent and became a fan because her tone was so healing it cut right to your soul. Due to that I started to seek out other female vocalists from my past as well as anything new... While looking through some old Kate Bush tracks, I came across a cover of Kate"shit song, "running up that hill", ... It was Sharon and the band, Within Temptationtion. Her vocal tone was very similar to Evancho, so I immediately felt the healing power and emotional delivery she gave. I now had 2 angels to help me heal. And with daily doses of both, I did begin to heal. I had discovered all of their music online and loved almost every track I heard.. I became a massive fan and consider Sharon to be my absolute favorite adult female vocalist. I have been to 2 of their shows I have met her twice after show and been able to hug her twice after show... She is a beautiful human being as well as a beautiful woman. I can say that I love her. Your perceptions of her are correct and you also love her, I can tell. She is out there for the world to share, in such a way.....

Epic song P.s feeling like a teenager with a massive crush now, i really love this song can't believe it took me this long to find it when I first was listening to it I thought it was some Avril Lavigne song until I heard the vocals then I looked up the name and saw within temptation which I have always listened to but it didn't really wow me until the chorus hit me in the face like a gust of wind and took my breath away and now I'm addicted to this song and listen to it constantly for its flow lyrics and meaning amazing song absolutely amazing

The fascinating thing is that a music video today is usually done at twice the speed and then slowed to where it can be edited and synchronized to the singer(s). So, what you are hearing was sung at twice the speed and slowed to make the video look perfect. She sings and the video editors make it so that she doesn't have to lip sync. That's especially helpful when there are more than just one singer. Back in the 1980's, video quality wasn't very good and Bananarama did a video of their song "Venus" - but that wasn't the word they sang during the video. 🤨

Avril Lavigne never sounded heavy like this song. They're not pure pop songs are pop punk, hardly similar to anything from WT.
