Solid review. I've just purchased an Xbox series X with an Armor X Pro. I purchased it exclusively for use in FPS games in Windows, but sadly the OS will not recognize buttons 13-17 when pressed although it sees the buttons in the control panel. I updated all firmwares to no avail and support is non-existent. I'm going to buy this controller based on this great review. I also appreciate the teardown. Not enough reviews go into that detail and just focus on the pizzazz of the video, so thank you!

I'm hoping to replace the Razer Naga Trinity's functionality (12 side buttons) with the additional buttons on this controller. With the two M buttons on top mapped as modifiers (Ctrl and Shift), I can have a total of 71 mappable keys. This is accomplished using button press combos with modifiers. The modifiers can stack as well, so they multiply the targets. Testing it today and hoping fir the best!
I have the Rainbow 2 SE, which has a few different buttons from this one and I can’t find a fucking clean cut simple review of it anywhere. The instruction manual is okay but a little confusing as this company is primarily Chinese or whatever. I don’t fundamentally understand how to program it or how it all functions.
out of topic a bit, anyone know if there is any other controller similar to Flydigi Apex 2 in the sense of: extra 2 button on the front, extra 2 button on the top and 4 button at the back?
It's a shame about the back buttons requiring you to practically squeeze the controller to actuate compared to any other 'pro' controller. Returning them ASAP.
Cheap Chinese controllers like these won't ever be Xbox or Ps4/5 compatible because for them to be compatible you would have to go through Microsoft/Sony process after which the controller won't be cheap anymore. My advice is to buy a Switch to Xbox converter or something.

Seriously and had clicky triggers. The Rainbow 2 Pro would be the biggest bang for your buck.

Nice, using mouse switch mean we could also change the switch with the one that fit our preference

it works fine but it keeps disconnecting when i use it wireless, and they haven't made any firmware updates to it either

I really like the controller. But for some reason it works well with some fighting games but not with others
