The ABK leaks do specify an "accelerometer" in the new upgraded Xbox controller coming this fall.
What exactly that means I don't know but you would think it should mean gyro support.
Of course the controller having it also doesn't mean any games will support it right away but we can hope.

I got it today and tested it with Forza 5, Robocop, and Emulators. I dare say it’s the most comfortable, precise, and smooth controller I’ve used yet. My Elite 2 is looking uncomfortable and lackluster next to it, the 8bitdo Ultimate compares better, but this was just more comfortable and has better features and haptics. Getting a Goku to hopefully pair it with the Xbox. Genuinely recommended.

We are so close to a definitive controller... It only needs backpedals that allows you to map keyboard buttons and a gyro that maps to mouse input instead of right analog stick (and all of it working on linux, so we can use on steam deck).

@@OneDollaBill maybe with a firmware update, idk, but I wouldn't expect it from Gulikit since they consistently have showed a philosophy of produce self contained controllers (I mean, controllers that doesn't depend on some kind of software to work/configure).
It's a good thing because it becomes more SO agnostic, you configure all controller aspects with some button combination presses, but it is also a bad thing because we can't set things up the way I said in my first comment.

Whoa this looks great. Steam Deck has me spoiled and I don't think I can ever go back to a controller without four paddle buttons on the back. I recently bought the Xbox Elite 2 for that reason, but I only play on Linux and the firmware requires the stupid Microsoft Store for updates. So I might sell that and replace it with the KK3 Max. I could get ~$50 back and lose nothing in the process.
Nice to see the gyro included, and Phawx didn't mention it but the grip texture looks good. The only thing I'd say the KK3 Max is lacking to be completely ideal is a trackpad.

I have the feeling that Gulikit did not had the intention of that to be a travel case , more like making sure the controller does not get damaged durring transport , and I am saying this because of the material they used for it , I have a similar transport case from TOM TOC with completly different material (much more rigid) , the controller is already sold out in my region unfortunetly , I have the previous one and it was nice

Hi there, how is the gyro compared to the joycons/NS pro controller?
As someone who plays splatoon, and have used both a pro switch controller and the KK2 Pro, the KK2 felt a little floaty and not as in sync compared to the switch’s native controllers. I’m wondering if you know how much better the KK3 gyro is in comparison to KK2 or even how close it is compared to the native joycons/pro controller.
I think the easiest method to notice the sync motion is (turning left and fast real quick with the controller, like a flopping fish and seeing if it desyncs. The native controller tends to be quite smooth and natural)

JOYCON are what matter. Mobapad M6 HD are the truth. First joycon with HD rumble, NFC, gyro, HALL analogs, mechanical buttons with Omron switches, rear mappable buttons, wireless with wake, turbo and macros, anti friction ring, swappable analogs, buttons and dpad, best d-pad in history of controllers AND it swaps with a rocker d-pad I used to nail x6 Zangief pile drivers in Ultra Street Fighter II, which Ive never done before with any d-pad, even Dualsense. These joycon make Switch OLED turn into a Steamdeck Jr. 17 hr battery life, plus if you disassemble the official joycon charge grip to take the wings off and keep the middle slab, you can use it as a pro controller that charges. Topping Pro Controller is easy. Mobapad did it years ago with M9 HD. But nailing the perfect JOYCON like this? Thats the story you should be running. Go order a pair of Mobapad M6 HD (white ones, the pastel are M6 S which are identical but no HD Rumble) from Aliexpress. Do a vid on THOSE!!!

You don’t have to worry about being banned on Xbox because with the Gulikit adapter you literally have to connect the original Xbox controller and it makes the console think your pressing and using the original controller.
If you buy Gulikit adapter, you can use them on consoles Xbox Series X and PS5
Gulikit kk3 max can do 1000hz
And it also has Macro which means you can auto press while even with the newest Flydigi Vader 4 it’s waiting for an update.

As a Splatoon player, I don't enjoy this because the triggers aren't as sensitive as the Switch Pro controller, so if you're using brush, rollers, catsup bottle... you aren't able to thunder finger that trigger to get max damage.
A solution I found (besides using my switch pro controller with the broken stick) is to map the trigger to the back paddle and have the trigger be turbo button, the problem with that is those back paddles are uncomfortable as hell. If the paddles were where the digital trigger things are (which also do nothing to help, thunder fingering just doesn't register, you have to press down and let it go back up to register as not-holding) then yeah sure, but as-is, it's uncomfortable.
I guess I'll rely more on shooters.

If this came with a charging dock with passthrough for the USB receiver where the dock effectively acts as the receiver (like the 8bitdo ultimate has) it would be perfect. One, while it has a polling rate of 1000hz, what is its actually input latency.? Does it come close to the PS5 Dual Edge? Which is the fasted controller on the market.

Thank you, this is interesting. I always seek out native USB 2.0 functionality on motherboards of late. I'm with an X570S currently and my case (from 2022) has two USB 2.0 at the front even, I'm wondering whether this might solve some issues regarding the complaints I've seen about the HD rumble. It's not as simple as one thinks to just plug certain HIDs into USB 3.0 and as far as I've seen certain adapters and wot not don't work with older devices. I have too many antiques to keep to ditch 2.0 yet!
I'll check it out when mine arrives.
edit: if using USB 2.0 is required to get the controller to work optimally, then that might be a bit of an oversight by Gulikit. It's not particularly a desired feature in newer systems.

Cool vid not worth $80 though and being sold on a lie. The face buttons are membrane. They need to go back to the zipper travel case.

Previous model had a significant flaw: form of controller itself made in such way, so pointer finger placed on the triggers. And only on a triggers. I've have a problem pressing bumpers on this, it make my hand hurt. So i've gave it to other people to try. Same issue. Every other controller i have does Not have that problem. The worst was 8bitdo pro2, which i'll describe as "a bit uncomfortable". That sad, coz kk2 is nicest control ive seen, but unusable in practice. Im am afraid that could be an issue on this one too

I had the exact same experience. The controller felt really good…until I tried to hit L or R. It was such a let down. I agree the 8bitdo controller wasn’t great either. I got both at the same time and couldn’t believe how much worse the shoulder buttons were compared to my switch pro controller.

@@potluckcookin you know, i've had another problem with pro2. It was impossible to press diagonals, so i've printed a new dpad. Looks awful, have sharp edges, but it works

I hope they've gone in and adjusted the RB LB buttons. My KingKong 2 pro's RB got really mushy over time. It doesn't click anymore. So yeah I want a replacement but not if it's exactly the same.

Had one, good features etc, but total shit buildquality and support.. After 3,5 weeks sent it back to Amazon for a refund.. The controller was ok out of the box but quickly developed 3 defects (RB button, left trigger and left stick) and Guilikit did not respond to my email..

My laptop only recognizes the controller as a pro (switch) controller. When i put the dongle that came with it in the laptop, it wont switch to the pc icon. It stays on switch. Any advice? This is my 2nd controller, first one i had to return that died after i updated the firmware from the gulikit site..
