My old band - It Lies Within opened for All That Remains at the Machine Shop in Flint back in 2010. Oli and I have a mutual friend here in Michigan and I got to hang out with him after the show until 4am that night. He was super nice and very down to earth. Awesome band!

I know this...but the interviewer made this comment AFTER he acknowledged the 81/85 combo in the guitars, which as anyone with half a brain knows are NOT passives.
Cody, the neck has 27 frets, 3 more than a standard Jackson 24 fret, 5 more than a standard Fender or Gibson neck, so extra frets require the fretboard to extend into the area that the Neck pickups are usually installed. So, smaller gap between the neck and bridge pickups. Oui la!
I’m glad that Oli got to do this interview with Ace Ventura before he passed. In all seriousness though, that guitar is sick. And Oli deserved more attention for his undeniable skill.
I suppose most people (me included) was mildly negative to John's debut as a PG interviewer, but even though I still have to say that people like Rebecca is better, John has had a massive progression, and it's cool to see this video, and then compare it to more recent interviews, where he is much more confident, asks the right questions, and overall appear more professional. Good job John!
Come on guys, he did a decent job and maybe - who knows - this was his first shot with a pro band. He seems not to come from a metal background, so in all fairness, pretty decent interview. Rebecca was great, but I am really happy that the rig rundowns continue (even without her). I find them very helpful AND entertaining to watch,
