Exactly same story here. Christmas evening, little me unboxing presents by the tree, one of the boxes was Amiga 500. Plugged it to tv in my room, sound line hooked to 100 watts Sony audio system with BIG speakers. Game which was included was Lotus 2, so I launched it and for the first time heard this mega epic intro on those BIG 100W speakers. Basses was over the roof, house almost collapsed. And you are 100% right with "memorable moment" - never ever in my life was I so happy.
Thanks for this memorable intro.Great times, when Amiga was the best computer with great music.I saw It in the shop, that's I persuade my father to buy Amiga. It was my first game. It's great to hear IT driving my MX5. Thanks for this :)
Those who have not had an Amiga can not imagine what this music gives from the machine itself, because I can listen to it in 2021 on a high-tech PC, it is as if I was listening in black and white. The sound power of these machines was terrible. When you think that opposite they were playing Nintendo and Sega 8-bit Master System, then Megadrive and 16-bit SNES, imagine the tech divide.
Ten utwór cały czas puszczaliśmy w bloku przez wzmacniacz. Ach te basowe dźwięki. Czasy Atari XL/XE/ST oraz Commodore C-64 i Amiga 500/600/1200/CDTV. Było fajnie.
only on one channel (can't remember which one..) , I remember hearing about it, disconnecting one channel (I had my audio piped through my stereo..), and it was "Woah!!"
0:14 You will not copy this game. (Usually this message appears on the right channel - this upload seems to have swapped left and right stereo channels)
This music was used in a TV News intro in Argentina. I remember when I wanted to buy my first Amiga the seller showed me this intro and I said: "Oh, it is like the music in the News!" 😮 - The seller: it IS the music used in the News - I: Wow, it sounds exactly the same! 😮 - The seller: 🤦🏻♂️
I discover that game by playing with a friend on his Atari 520ST... then i got the game for my Amiga 500+... i never touch the Atari version again, at a basic sound quality level the Atari sound like shit!
My very first game on Amiga. This intro music is a more memorable moment in my life than my wedding...
man of culture
not my 1st, but 1st that gave me that feeling of epic gaming time :D
Brilliant 😂 😂
Wish I couldn't agree more...

I remember recording the music onto tape and playing it in my dad’s Ford Escort XR3i and asking him to drive fast!!
I remember the XR3 models and XR2's, they were the days. Always wanted a Cosworth.
😂👍🏻
These are real tears of joy.
Welcome back 1990…we missed you
Me too..😭❤️🙏

The music from this game. I used to load it up just to listen to it. What a brilliant time it was for gaming back then! 👍
Chciałbym wrócić do tamtych czasów chociaż na chwilę...
This is the best intro in Amiga game.

one of the best track on Amiga !!
I imagine the "ahh" sample being the voice of the composer when he realized what a piece of glory he's just created.
In facto la a sample from yello - oh yeah, bit i like your idea and i hope the composer Could have realised what a masterpiece this is
@@leonardozambon5370 well the composer did comment a month before you did. :)
Car my friend, he's saying car for obvious reasons.
It's actually a well known stock sound (chiki chika) but your idea it's pretty curious.
I’m 68 and love this music ❤
What a wicked upload. The best computer game tune- they don’t make games and sounds like this anymore!
What memories this brings back!
Used to play this with my mother. Miss you mom.
❤
That bass line kicks some serious ass!
Crushing balls!
This! Could it be the same or a very similar instrument as in Snaps "Rhythm is a dancer"? I was wondering this all the time :)
Every time I hear this music, I get chills... The music was so awesome!
Just another day listening to the best video game theme music ever produced
I feel like I'v reunited with a long lost love.
Awe.
i feel so old....my childhood....
Stratospheric sound! 🤩
still as glorious as ever

HA! I just realised I know Shaun Southern. I remember him giving me this game for my ZX Spectrum when I was a Kid! .
That bass line perfectly captures the wholesome vibe of the '90s.

That car is alimented by chili
if should tell the width of the dash too, so you know how long of a line you can snort haha
I love this song since my Childhood ! ❤️

This brings back the moment of "Oh! A night map, incredible!"
AWESOME!
Turpentine, Great game flawless soundtrack cool cars Good Times 😉
Little know fact here, at 14 seconds listen very carefully as there is a subliminal message. A voice sample that says 'you will not copy this game'.
Wow it's so faint I can't even hear what he is saying.
I would put that only if the system finds a pirated copy but not on the originl game
I imagine if it is a pirated game the sample becomes more hearable
Never gets old.
This game made me want an Esprit! Never got one so far :(
You're not the only one... :(
add one more, here
Sure. but never forget... Lotus stands for >> Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious

Nicest Track ever

DAT BASSLINE
It f---ing punches so hard. 4 channels and they did this with that sound processor. Creative geniuses.
Thanks for uploading
Masterpiece.
Best track for race drivers :)
You can faintly hear the easter egg "you will not copy this game" at the very beginning :) (around 0:12-0:16)
only on one channel (can't remember which one..) , I remember hearing about it, disconnecting one channel (I had my audio piped through my stereo..), and it was "Woah!!"
Always loved the "MAX POWDER" stat ;)
I was able to finish this game only two times. The last level was so difficult!
I played this game in 1996 by Amiga 500 comondor, it was amazing 😊😊😢😮
LOTUS TURBO CHALLINGE 2😃 ❤🇮🇹
Great music, nice graphics. Look at all this manually added anti-aliasing and dithering.

Çocukluk zamanlarımın en sevdiğim oyunlarından bir tanesi lotus 2
I don't ever think we actually played the game just had it on for the incredible music
I’ve only played this on Sega Genesis, the music in this version sounds so much fuller.
This and the theme tune to god's and magic pockets are my childhood

Has anyone noticed the "Max Pow-D-er" in the car's description? LMAO
this is just perfect

Max powder? I'm assuming that was an intentional typo?
The music sounds really familiar
Does anybody know something about the copyright of this music? Ist it usable for streaming-intros?
