Amiga will always have special place in my heart. I got my A600 in 1996 and still feel very much connected to those days spend playing games and listening to keygen music or trsckers. Amiga always and forever in days when people created stuff out of passion not nesserly for money.
@@giovanniviglietta731 yes, to buy A600 back then you needed one avarage worker month earnings, still not so many people could afford it. Commdore bankrupcy has nothing to do with it as there were still thousands of games avaliable on this platform.
I remember buying turrican 2 on the amiga in watford highstreet back in 91 i think? Such a satisfying buy. On the back of the box it said it was like having an arcade in your home and it didn't disappoint. The only thing that did was completing it that very same day... i wanted more!
First time on these compilations I've heard Premier Manager 2. Great soundtrack and thanks for including. Was the first game I booted up on the AmigaMini to bring back my childhood.
great compilation. I like the extended Golden Axe bits :) tell you what's always over looked and often missing from such playlists... Apydia. Iconic music to that sideways shooter.
I have a confession to make... for some reason the intro to Venus The Flytrap, the images and music combined, scared me as child. I always closed off my ears and wait for it to be over before playing the game.
Some ideas: Shadow of the beast I, II, III - Lemmings - Lost patrol - Monkey Island, I, II - Gold of Aztecs - Rick Dangerous I, II - PowerMonger - Flashback (Another World 2)
The commodore Amiga defined 16 bit video game music too not just the SNES, mid to late 1980s arcade cabinets, and Sega Genesis some Amiga's are 32 bit though.
Very nice list and stylishly put together, it must have taken a long time. I've just uploaded my top 200 Amiga game tunes. I can't post the link because youtube will hide the comment!
First, thank you for the great collection of tracks. Unfortunately, it sounds like many of the tracks are a muffled mess starting with Pinball Fantasies at 27:42. The following several tracks are fine, but IK+ at 46:59 is muffled, Lotus II is fine, but Nitro at 54:32 and Jim Power 58:07 are both muffled. This seems to happen on and off throughout the whole video.
Confirmed. These tracks have the polarity of left and right channels completely flipped. If you listen in mono or a system with a single speaker, they sum to nothing, so you'll hear nothing. If you listen in stereo it feels like your brain is being twisted :-)
@@Foebane72 dude you think I've never listened to demoscene music? I mean, I kinda do agree with you, but what I mean is that every piece of music is special. Sure demoscene music can have better quality in technical terms, but they're still all masterpieces made with passion by their composers, and they're all equally good in that way
This music is gorgeous. Thanks for the video.

Lots of good times with the Amiga back in the days 😀
So you got your Amiga 2 years after its company died? Sad...

Starting strong with Turrican! Amiga was best time of gaming ever.

Lotus is fantastic 😀

Holy shit this sent me back... Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies, the music of my youth...
so nostalgic, great selection. unless I accidently skipped past it, I would also add Hybris
3:13:57 Hybris ;-)
@@xixaoxaoxi great stuff, that’s the title track. The ingame music is awesome also
War klar Turrican II an erster Stelle. Der Amiga Smash-Hit 👍🤩
haette genauso Gut Lotus sein koennen oder Blood Money oder oder oder ... :)

Remembering "Burntime" or "Whale's Voyage" the good old times!
Some ideas: Shadow of the beast I, II, III - Lemmings - Lost patrol - Monkey Island, I, II - Gold of Aztecs - Rick Dangerous I, II - PowerMonger - Flashback (Another World 2)
Turrican II is such a Gem.. love all the trax (if u got it on disk or on an emulator, hit Space in the titlescreen to open the music-listen-menu)

Hollywood Poker Pro tracks were the best!
I feel like I would have loved the Amiga if I would have owned one back at it's time.
some good tunes , Hybris is great for example , but i definitly miss Shadow of the beat here.
Copyright on that one, sorry.

@@jenniferclark2729 And if you listen on a surround set everything ends up in the rear speakers :)
@@neonstz No way! I'm almost tempted to find a surround set and try this. Almost :-)
There are better trucks then those you have mentioned.
Golden Axe is cool. but 10 minutes almost the same.. pheeeeew ;)
I've never had an Amiga myself, but it was iconic! Best console that time!
No Pipes of Lost Time
i need this as mp3 file to listen it in my car
can be done :)
42:44
you've got pinball dreams on twice btw.
Am besten hoeren auf einem 5.1 System mit fetten Subwoofer !
Very good compilation! There are a few remixes that really kill the original songs though, so that's a bummer. Otherwise great playlist.
Thank you 😀
Do you think he likes Turrican.
haha, remember strip poker on amiga 😹
I listen to this while drawing Amiga pixel art.
The Amiga Demoscene is WAY ahead in music quality compared to this!
cry about it
@@Atreiides_I know you will, once you hear some examples.
