You’d probably get better results by going into an FX return, bypassing your amps preamp section. Also disabling the cab IR on the pedal since you already have a speaker, thus making it redundant and possibly ruining the tone. That’s what this sounds like to me but I could be wrong
I had considered running through the FX loop but I just wanted to try it like a drive pedal. I had the same conclusion. If you were to use the pedal like this you would turn the IR off.
