As a Ford employee I was able to purchase one of these from a sale of ex - company vehicles in 1970. The same colour, but with the light grey trim / black carpet and dash combination. A superb car in all respects, definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing, but able to deliver a good 21 mpg on the highway.
Burgundy paint shows up the chrome beautifully. Cars sent to South Africa had the option of power windows, but I've never seen any local versions so fitted.
This is one beautiful piece of good old aussie prestige car ,we had a 1975 zg fairlane with a 302 cleveland and collum shift auto in the 90s but i didnt think they were as good as the zc, zd our zg had the vinal roof which was known to be a harbour for moisture and rust unfortunately but overall i liked the earlier z cs and z ds , beaut cars.

Very nice. Reminds me of my green 1970 ZC 302 Cleveland that I owned 35 years ago. Great cruiser.

Looks to have some type of tubular exhaust headers. I have a US '66 fairlane. Thanks for the video.

Had a ZD the same colour hate the vinyl roof though!! Fantastic highway car,just used to float along.
