I think its based off of the "Beyond Earth" mod, which was originally publically released source code, but that was also based off of GalactiCraft so...
I think Advanced Rocketry is genuinely incredible. I remember I did a server review on a Greek server who ran that mod and their server was really amazing, they built some super cool stuff on that mod. I think it has great potential in terms of what you can do with its content.
I have but one comment... "Mumbo, is the moon big?" Edit: thanks for the heart too, I reckon that's a good thing for at least attempting to heart every comment especially in the early stages of a video.
yea that is a big issue with space mods in general. if you want to add interesting content to them, you have to take artistic liberties. with ad astra, though, it's is in beta currently, and they're adding more content to the mod each version

Nevermind, It already exists! It’s called terrafirmagreg. Greg tech (which I haven’t played) and TFC along with create and many other mods. It also allows you to go to space.
@@solarmangos It is compatible (like crafting stuff and there is a mod that ads compatibility for desh in create) I have my own modpack with these Mods included (Ad: Modern Mods available on Modrinth)
I agree. GC is overall better than Ad Astra but AA has it's nice details too. Btw if you like GC that much, I have such a good news for you. Developers confirmed that they are working on new, refreshed version of Galacticraft for newer versions like 1.16, 1.18 etc. It should be done soon.
@@kln.b5631 yes you should say more. why do you think anyone wants to play that much of an outdated game version in exchange for this small amount of content? I mean, there's tons of mods that aren't ported that far back, and the game version lacks a lot of content. The textures are crap, the nether has only one biome, sculk doesn't exist, all that good stuff you can't get with that version without backport mods.

I feel like more work was put into the features that let you visit other planets rather than the planets themselves.

space mods and magic mods are the best mods on the platform 100%
I also reccomend playing advanced rocketry. You can also travel beetwen star systems but it's overall more realistic.

I'm pretty sure you can run a modded server on your computer like a vanilla server for free. You just need to make sure you have enough ram.

There is a create plugin that adds an energy transfer block, allowing you to connect Create's energy units with other mod's
