I just picked up a brand new Lexus IS 350 F Sport AWD yesterday. What a change from 2004 Solara V6 SLE. I bought ceramic paint, 3M tape, and Lexus wheel tire protection. I got $750 off MSRP. I am sure I could have done a bit better, but I love my car. I have the color Caviar.

I got a 2023 for 58. It was listed at 57,000 they wanted me to pay 62,000llis out the door. I knocked them down because I wanted in white, with red interior but they sold it. So I got up and left and they called me and told me okay 58,315 out the door. Went to go to the bank got the check got my car and left. No trade in

I don’t like the outdated interior of the IS but i love the exterior. Also does the IS include wireless apple carplay? or do you gotta plug in your phone to listen to music? Appreciate the feedback! The mpg’s are in the low 20’s for the most part. You do have to plug it in for CarPlay unfortunately! Unless I haven’t figured out how to use it wirelessly!

I mean generally you should for sure shoot for MSRP OTD if possible but at the very lease if you cant get that, get the family or employee discount off of MSRP plus tax. That's just my opinion.

@jinchen5161 I am impressed with your reply. I usually get OTD price at 10% below MSRP. Or $2000-3000 below dealer's invoice before Tax for OTD. Paying higher than these 2 guidelines means you have overpaid. Car is a depreciating asset, therefore don't get emotional about it.
I love the CD player, Mark Levinson sound system, and the analog clock in the center console. Plus I have my V6 engine. Yea I like the IS 500 too. Good car to buy if you are young enough to sell it in 20 years.

Really wanted a 2023 IS 350 fsport awd caviar with white interior and all the add ons but then i saw it was close to the price of the IS 500... so i found a phenomenal deal on a 2022 IS 350 fsport awd silver with black interior 15k miles Still with the add ons but paid 38k

just got an is350 today at the dealership . the msrp was 51,390 and i ended up with the car for 53,390 out the door . they came down 1500 . i’m scared I got ripped off though because i negotiated the monthly payment but the financier stamped the price as final … i just felt i could’ve brought it down maybe 2-3k more
$53390? Did that include title and registration fees, or they charged over MSRP?
@@pauldichtel6410 yes . that was the price with all the fees out the door . the msrp of the actual car was 51,390 but after fees it was 54,890 but they went down 1500 to 53,390

I mean it depends on the options, if it was new, used, etc. But if you got a new base model IS350 that sounds about right from what I've seen. If you got a few options with it, sounds like a good deal.

In October 2021 my wife and I took her 2020 Palisade in for 20,000 mile service which I normally did by myself and I usually sat in the service lounge but when I headed there she said let’s just walk around. Long story short she now has a white pearl 2022 Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige Edition which she would not trade for anything. It has red interior and she didn’t like it either but now loves it. Like what you said about beating dealer down. They let use take the GV70 home overnight for a test drive and we live about an hour away. Went back next night and they were about to close. She is a tough sale and when they came back with price she said no. When they ask what would you do and she told them they came back lower but not her price so she said thanks but no and let’s go. She then said she had to go to restroom and when sales manager asked me did we do it I said no you didn’t meet her price. He said OK we will and when she came out I told her and she said no, they didn’t do it. I said you can’t do that because you already told them you would and if you ever want to buy another car here or have your car serviced here you need to honor what you said. She then said OK made a deal and has not been sorry since. It was a really good deal in a time when dealerships were not dealing. I myself recently purchased a new 2023 Nissan maxima SR in white. Only other car I would’ve considered is the Lexus like you got and think it is a very sharp car. However, I do really like my Maxima also great video. Thanks and congratulations.

Good video guys. She made a great choice…nothing against German cars but they are only good first 3 yrs until warranty is up then they start having issues. Lexus on the other hand are known for reliability dependability & quality. Glad u guys have a good experience but remember, dealers always come up on top at the end otherwise they wouldn’t be in biz

Trading a car is never good for the customer. I haven't traded a car since 1989. I go in with how much I want to spend on the new car. Don't worry about my car. They have all these numbers in their head when you walk in the door. They do this for a living. All that "I have to talk to my manager" is a just a game. But at the end of the day, if you feel good about the deal, that's good.
The benefit of trading in your car is it lowers the sale price of the car your buying and lowering the taxes you are paying. Sometimes it makes sense to trade in depending on the value of you trade in.
Dealerships where I live don't mark up at all and you can get 10k off sticker all day on new lexus

Thanks to me the white exterior or blue exterior for is350 look the best to me. for the interior I like the white interior the most red interior came in second.I like the white exterior because the spoiler is black and it matches the outline of the tail light on mines

I paid 62k with every option available that’s after tax and finance with 4 miles off the lot. But I got white with red interior. Lowkey kinda regret not getting the 500. But still a good comfortable daily. Take care of those wheels! You can’t buy them from Lexus supposedly without the “wheel package insurance” from the dealership.
Just how many options are there? Wow that's a lot. I got mine for 52k MSRP not inluding tax and fees and such. And I feel like I got good things in it like navigation, memory package, power tilt moonroof. I will say I do not have the BBS wheels and mark levinson sound system.

The AWD only comes with regular sport mode & the 6 speed transmission. I have the 22’ IS 350 F sport AWD. Still fast. Really just depends on what you want: more grip on the road, or less traction & slightly faster.

You always will find the lowest msrp vehicle around, I have her is350 f sport, atomic silver red interior, but the 25 yea im going to be purchasing it, I get to write off my cars at 19,200 a year in my business name, the 25 will be crazy. No extended warranty, no 2k tracking device they try and slip in there, and the 1300 additional fee they will put in there as well.

@@eleanormassaro5195 I looked at all of their colors. Indium is almost black. I have caviar. The only silver is atomic silver.
Maybe they discontinued it, but there was a more basic color silver that used to be offered on the IS. I'm familiar with the Caviar color. My sister-in-law has that color on her RX350. And then there is the Obsidian color, which is the black with no metallic in it..
